Less Than a "Stub"

[edit]

Really, there is no useful information in this article. A "Fourth of July celebration spectacle"? Involving what? Brass bands, fireworks, and flyovers by the Blue Angels? Was there a stage show with actors? Or was it a video production? Any music? Notable performers? Who produced it? Beck? Or did he just sign his name to somebody's else's work, like he does with most of his books? How much did it cost to make? How many attended? Why is it in any way more notable than any extravaganza that takes place on a Casino stage in Vegas three times a week?

I agree, while I appreciate the efforts Beck puts into spreading his message and view of the world this is nothing more than a single event that occurred a single time with no lasting national or international effect. Looking at the article's traffic, aside from the 2 week period surrounding the event, the page is read a mere 5 times a day on average. Of course traffic stats don't mean much but they do underscore the fact this was a single event, no different than the thousands of other events that took place nationally around the 4th.
