Cat's Eye edit reversion
Hi there--I'm going to gently push back on a couple of your reversions. Your stated reason for the rollback is that I added unnecessary word count. 1) In the section that starts "Norris agrees" I improved grammar and clarity at the cost of only 4 additional words. 2) The sentence I added to the section that starts "The tomcat hops a freight train" is a critical detail to the story: the mother is not simply afraid that the cat will attack the pet bird, but also recited a family legend about cats attacking children. This additional tension is what leads her to be suspicious of the cat throughout that part of the story.
I agree with the rest of your editing! --Publicblast (talk) 19:28, 9 April 2019 (UTC)
- Hi Public, given that the Plot is already tagged for being too long, the last thing we should be doing is adding more to it. Please do not do so unless you will also be bringing the word count under 700 words as recommended at WP:FILMPLOT. If you feel this film cannot be reasonably summarized in under 700 words, I would recommend starting a discussion at the article's Talk page so that other edits may weigh in. Hope this helps! Peter Stuart
So, how do you stop people linking Peter Stuart the actor to Peter Stuart the musician? MartinSFSA (talk) 14:39, 11 April 2019 (UTC)
- Given Peter Stuart wasn't even listed with a role, there shouldn't be a need to link him as he's no longer listed in the Cast. If and when he's listed in the Cast with a role, an embedded note should be sufficient I would think. DonIago (talk) 14:52, 11 April 2019 (UTC)
- His credit is Winkelmann. MartinSFSA (talk) 15:56, 11 April 2019 (UTC)
- Ahh. I have no issue with him being added back then with that credit. Given your initial concern you can also add a note that he shouldn't be linked. DonIago (talk) 15:59, 11 April 2019 (UTC)
- I've removed the link three times in as many years and added the note to Peter Stuart's page. You can add the note in whatever format you approve of. MartinSFSA (talk) 16:36, 11 April 2019 (UTC)

Mount Conner
Hello, yesterday I added an appearance of the mountain in a famous videoclip from UK band "Jamiroquai",it was erased due to lack of citation, I cited the videoclip itself where you can clearly see the mountain in a lot of passages, link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nb6EFh8HlV4 (see for example: min 2:24 - 2:28 - 2:35 -2:42) also you can see in the video that is was recorded in one of the salt lakes that are around that area, thank you in advance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 181.228.232.50 (talk) 17:55, 16 April 2019 (UTC)
- Please see WP:IPCV. For "pop culture" items, we need a source that demonstrates not only the occurrence of the item, but also that it was considered significant in some manner. The way I like to put it is that we need to establish not only that the tree fell in the woods, but that it made a sound. Thanks! DonIago (talk) 18:33, 16 April 2019 (UTC)

Comment
You and I discussed redlinks, a couple of years ago. I think it was our only interaction. When I re-read that discussion today, I thought to myself, "I wonder if that guy is still active".
I saw that you were.
I saw your most recent edit was an excision of over 6k characters. My passing comment? Don't most people think an excision of 6k merits an explanation on the talk page? Geo Swan (talk) 17:04, 5 May 2019 (UTC)
- I left an edit summary (as I typically do), and WP:SOURCELIST is very clear that entries in list articles need sources. The issue was also discussed at the article's Talk page previously. What else would you have me say? DonIago (talk) 02:21, 6 May 2019 (UTC)
