Fair use rationale for Image:Pierce uncanny.JPG

[edit]

Image:Pierce uncanny.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Donald Pierce is in Young X-Men?

[edit]

This was on the young x-men page too, that he was comnig back according to solicitations for the first issue, but I've seen those images and there's still no definite confirmation that it's him as of yet. Unless there is a link to back this statement up, it's probably better to wait for it to come out. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Alotofsparetime (talkcontribs) 20:07, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Donald Pierce a mutant in Wolverine and The X-Men?

[edit]

I noticed that in the other media section of Pierce's bio that he is listed as not being a mutant hating cyborg, but as a mutant capable of releasing energy blasts through his hands. I saw no evidence of him being a mutant aside from the assumption that he was by whoever added that part of the article. He was a prominent member of the Hellfire Club during the Dark Phoenix Saga, and during that time he was part of the club to only further his own agenda. He also had the ability to shoot energy blasts as well, but he was not a mutant. It seems like speculation to just assume that he is a mutant in the Wolverine and the X-Men universe.
