- The problem is I have no idea what to address. The format of the article is exactly the same as hundreds of other articles already approved. In fact, I simply did a basic copy/paste from the approved 2022 results and updated it with the 2023 results.
- I am curious how the following article was submitted on Saturday and immediately approved without any references except for the link to the results.
- 2023_NCAA_Division_I_Cross_Country_Championships
- The article I submitted on Friday had four references: the link to the results, a write-up of the men's race, a write-up of the women's race, and the official race program providing all of the background information for the meet. It was rejected.
- Even better, look at the following "approved" articles:
- 2024_NCAA_Division_I_Cross_Country_Championships
- 2025_NCAA_Division_I_Cross_Country_Championships
- There is literally no information at all and yet they were both approved.
- If you look back through the 87 men's results and 43 women's results that have been approved, all but a couple have no references except for a link to the results.
- NCAA_Division_I_men%27s_cross_country_championships
- NCAA_Division_I_women%27s_cross_country_championships
- Either all 130 pages should be deleted or this one should be approved. The same is true for a couple hundred collegiate track and field national championships, both indoor and outdoor. CooperRiverRunner (talk) 00:44, 21 November 2023 (UTC)
