Debra Frasier moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Debra Frasier, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. scope_creepTalk 18:45, 10 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

June 2022

[edit]

Hello, I'm Adakiko. I noticed that in this edit to All the Young Dudes (fan fiction), you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Adakiko (talk) 05:18, 11 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You're right, I should have explained why in my edit summary. In the discussion for deletion for this page, it was brought up the the Roxbury Review was not a reliable source, so I went and deleted it from the article. Next time, I'll be sure to explain better. My mistake, thanks for catching it! Cedar Tree 05:21, 11 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Don't refactor a quote. The quote uses "his". Take your proposed edit to the talk page, please. Adakiko (talk) 07:20, 12 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I added a new topic to the talk page of Justin Vivian Bond, but wanted to add here was well that using square brackets to change the pronouns of a quote about a transgender person to their preferred pronouns is not only in accordance with MOS:GENDERID, it is also the grammatically correct way to alter a quote for clarity. I did not in any way falsify the quote, I simply used square brackets to change "his" to "their". Cedar Tree 07:33, 12 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
My apology on that; I messed up. I see so many user names doing wp:RCP that I didn't recognize yours. I didn't see the "[there]" with all of the other stuff decorating it. If I mess up like this again, please ping me and I'll rectify it. I wasn't watching your page, so I didn't see this until just now. Cheers Adakiko (talk)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Lac qui Parle, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Dakota. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

With this edit you added this map which was supposed to show the location of Covenant of our Lady of the Lake. Perhaps I missed it, but where is this school located on the map? Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 22:36, 16 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, thanks for reaching out! If you go to the search bar in the map and search for "Graceville" or "Covenant of our Lady of the Lake" the map will zoom to the location of the school. If you click on the pin marker it will also show some information about the school. Cedar Tree 14:46, 19 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I looked at the review and I don’t understand why this was failed. Viriditas (talk) 00:47, 5 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Viriditas do you think that I should ask for additional input on the GA nominations discussions page? I don't really understand why either. Cedar Tree 01:47, 6 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I would ask for a second opinion simply to get clarification. I might be missing something. If the close paraphrasing was egregious, that could explain why it was failed. Otherwise, I'm not seeing anything sticking out. Viriditas (talk) 03:00, 6 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I just added a topic to the page. Thanks! Cedar Tree 03:06, 6 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
