Kim Petras
Hello, Cartoon Network freak. Hope you’re doing well! Just wanted to give you a heads up that I’ve nominated Kim Petras discography for a merge because I felt that she doesn’t have enough notable songs. Feel free to weigh in on the discussion since you’re the one who did the original split.—NØ 13:12, 10 March 2019 (UTC)
So why other countries are without that only Romania has that lol — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kornelisahovit (talk • contribs) 22:05, 14 March 2019 (UTC)
- The other Eurovision pages are of a lower quality. I want to bring this to Featured list status; see this as an example where no row spans are used. Cartoon network freak (talk) 05:30, 15 March 2019 (UTC)
- May as well as this part to the discussion but have you enquired about changing that format for that article as I am going to another article which doesn't use center but is FL-status
List of Eurovision Song Contest winners. Not Homura (talk) 05:35, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
- As I said it is just very useful to use the centered parameter for numbers (especially at the end of a table and e.g. for references); see List of certified albums in Romania for example. Now that I look over it again, it may in fact be optional, but is there anything wrong in letting it the way I edited it? I don't think so. Cartoon network freak (talk) 05:49, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
- And like I said, it's rarely used in Eurovision articles, in fact it's the only article that will have this case. It's not like you can go in and change it unless you talk it over with the Eurovision crew. Not Homura (talk) 01:00, 23 March 2019 (UTC):

I think you may enjoy this video (INNA Sings Lady Gaga, JLo, and Pink in a Game of Song Association). :-) Aoba47 (talk) 21:40, 18 March 2019 (UTC)
- @Aoba47: Oh yes, thank you. I didn't know Inna would do such an interview haha... Greets; Cartoon network freak (talk) 05:04, 19 March 2019 (UTC)
- It is nice to see her get more exposure. I did not expect it either lol. It just randomly popped up on my YouTube feed lol. Aoba47 (talk) 05:28, 19 March 2019 (UTC)
Yodel It! and Goodbye
Hi. I saw your reverts on my edits. I would like to tell you, kindly, that you can place a reason on a better way. There is no reason to report me, I made only 2 edits. I understand you are from Romania and you want to do the best in the pages regarding Romania in the contest but we are all here to help and not here to vandalize wikipedia. So, please add the source for the genres you wrote otherwise I will have to undo your edit back to my edit version. Thank you Αντρέας Δέλτα (talk) 14:04, 8 April 2019 (CET)
- @Αντρέας Δέλτα: Hi! I would kindly like to advise you to look in the "Composition" sections of the respective articles, where the genres are cited. Adding genres cited by unreliable sources isn't necessarily a qualitative contribution, and also, I brought the articles to Good Article status, so I would want them to remain the way they were before: cited and accurate. Many thanks! Cartoon network freak (talk) 14:03, 8 April 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks for your respond. I'm glad that you brought your article into Good Articles status but keep in mind that users don't have the time to check the sections of a page one by one to find out if there is a source for the music genre. Anyway, it's fixed. Also, as I know the source I added before is not unreliable but if you have any info about it would help. Keep up the good work! :) Αντρέας Δέλτα (talk) 19:51, 8 April 2019 (CET)
Doo.Wops & Hooligans
If you didn't notice the article was submitted to a GOCE. I have no clue what is missing or what do you want different in the article? Mars' energy and the skill of his performances", "which showed some impressive, James Brown-inspired footwork" → this is not fancruft you can easily see those sentences were taken directly from the reviews. I do agree some sentences need to be improved.
- "we also have several connection issues, with information and terms appearing out of the sudden without context" → such as?
I do disagree with this quick fail, I do agree something is lacking, but full reviews would have been more appropriate. The article isn't in such a bad shape as you make it seem. I might have to reassess it, sorry. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 17:01, 20 April 2019 (UTC)
- @MarioSoulTruthFan: I didn't mean to be rude, and I have indeed seen that the article was already edited by the GOCE members, but it's just not cohesive to me. An article should be like a story, flowing, but here I'm all the time stopping my flow with those short sentences, as well as I'm left confused half of the time with facts or names that just plop out ouf the sudden ("Hooligans in Wondaland", two producers in the lead and only one in the body, unlinked singers or singes only mentioned by last name when they should be fully mentioned etc; and the "impressive" part, without a quote, is clearly fancruft as it stands right now). You may reassess if you feel like, but in my opinion, this isn't yet ready for GA — not with minor fixes at least. I hope you understand my point of view, and my goal is always to promote and article not to make it seem like it is in a bad shape. I skipped doing the full review since the main issues are already present in the sections reviewed. Cartoon network freak (talk) 17:10, 20 April 2019 (UTC)
- I will do the revamp by myself over summer when I have more time, I just have time to review a couple of articles and addressing issues on my nominations. I will take a look at your suggestions and address them and then full revamp when I don't have so much on my plate. Thanks for making wiki a better place. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 00:58, 21 April 2019 (UTC)
I'm sorry to bother you on this beautiful Sunday, but I would very much appreciate some comments on my current FLC linked above. Just ignore this, if your schedule does not allow it. Thank you in advance.--Lirim | Talk 12:49, 21 April 2019 (UTC)
Hi, sorry for taking time to get back to the Moment of Silence GAN after you had addressed everything, it wasn't intentional since I had an examination in the last two days. I was wondering if you could conclude the Bass GA review today in case nothing else needs to be done. I plan on starting a good topic nomination for its parent album and I would like to get that started as soon as possible so it can be eligible for this Wikicup cycle.--NØ 19:54, 22 April 2019 (UTC)
- I was about to do that in a few hours. There are just a few more things I will fix by myself, and then I'll pass. Cartoon network freak (talk) 19:55, 22 April 2019 (UTC)

Hi buddy, regarding my GA nominations, can I request some extra time from you as reviewer? As you can see I am in between traveling and not much online. I will get delayed by about a week in responding to them. Hope you can consider. —IB [ Poke ] 09:32, 24 April 2019 (UTC)

GA review?
I understand that you will be reviewing "Low Lights" within the next week, but since I've done three articles for you I'd like to ask for this favour: do you think you could do "Be Like Me" sometime soon? This would be dope as it'd stand as 2019's third music GA. --Kyle Peake (talk) 16:36, 10 June 2019 (UTC)
- Would like to ask out of general curiosity since you have stated that you are into all sorts of music, what're your thoughts on the artist behind "Low Lights" called Kanye West? Are you a fan of his music?? --Kyle Peake (talk) 19:06, 10 June 2019 (UTC)
- Hi again! I'm not really a fan of Kayne's music since rap is not my genre, rather is indie and dance music. He has a track called "Murder to Excellence" I like. If you know it, the "la la la" part is sampled from a Romanian band Indiggo's track (fun fact). Greets; Cartoon network freak (talk) 19:43, 10 June 2019 (UTC)
- Yeah I have heard that, it's a Jay-Z collaboration and is a good track. Since "Stronger" is more dance/electronic type rap, are you a fan of that one? --Kyle Peake (talk) 19:46, 10 June 2019 (UTC)
- Lol, I googled the track and I actually remember it. It was popular on Romanian TV a while ago :) Gives me memories :) Cartoon network freak (talk) 19:50, 10 June 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks for passing "Low Lights", would've commented on the GA page but it's archived now. Will respond to "Be Like Me" within this week. Kyle Peake (talk) 14:27, 12 June 2019 (UTC)

Question
Hey Cartoon network freak. Have you ever thought about List of songs recorded by Inna? You've already brought her discography and awards pages up to FLs but you think she could benefit from a song page? She's released 6 albums at this point so she obviously has enough songs to warrant a list. Just a thought. – zmbro (talk) 21:58, 17 June 2019 (UTC)
- @Zmbro: Hi! Yes, I indeed thought about that, and I'll might do it when I have time. She has several songs that could be included... Greets; Cartoon network freak (talk) 22:33, 17 June 2019 (UTC)
- @Zmbro: Hi again! Could you also ask an admin to close my GA review of War All the Time (Thursday album). I'm simply too busy, unfortunately, and it's no use leaving the review open and unaccessible to other reviews. Many thanks... Cartoon network freak (talk) 18:21, 19 June 2019 (UTC)
Cartoon network freak, per the post at WT:GAN, I have closed Wilhelmina Will's reviews of both Talk:Honestly/Honestly (Encore)/GA1 and Talk:Monster/Monster (Reborn)/GA1, since she opened five reviews on May 20 as her most recent edits on the site, and has an unfortunate history of opening reviews and either disappearing from the site for a while or simply not getting back to them for over a month (or two). She does seem to ultimately finish them, but I imagine that if you wanted these two put back into the pool of unreviewed nominations in the hopes of finding someone else, you may want Out Loud also to be closed in similar fashion.
Please let me know how you'd like to proceed. Thank you very much. BlueMoonset (talk) 04:06, 20 June 2019 (UTC)
- @BlueMoonset: You can also close "Out Loud". It's indeed a better solution. Many thanks; Cartoon network freak (talk) 07:09, 20 June 2019 (UTC)

Bad Guy - GA
Don't you think its a bit too soon to nominated the song? I mean the remix was just released it will get peaks on other countries, on top of that you are missing several sections. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 16:31, 18 July 2019 (UTC)
- @MarioSoulTruthFan: Alright, I'll wait one more month or so, but I do think every section needed is there, maybe apart from a "Commercial performance" one. Cartoon network freak (talk) 19:36, 18 July 2019 (UTC)
- Thank you, yes I think its the oly section missing too. But once the remix gets going you can add more stuff to it. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 14:51, 19 July 2019 (UTC)

Romania in the Eurovision Song Contest
I strongly disagree with your attitude to the inclusion of Romania's voting history on the page. Firstly, the votes are verifiable and can be checked by looking at the points listed on eurovision.tv, on each article for a country's participation in a particular year, or watching the contests themselves. Secondly, every single source could contain mistakes, however this particular source has been found in the past to be trustworthy and all the points it lists correspond to the actual points awarded – again, this can be checked easily. This source has been used on many countries' participation articles – in fact, that is how I found the site. Thirdly, you are not making a positive impact on the article, and I think you could make better use of your time by finding a source you don't object to instead of unilaterally removing it. dummelaksen (talk) 04:42, 27 August 2019 (UTC)
- @Dummelaksen: This is not my "attitude", it's a fact. Having to add up points yourself is original research. We would need a source to present a table that looks just like that, which we don't have (at the moment). Such a voting table can't be included in the article, let alone it fails the featured article status it has achieved. Cartoon network freak (talk) 04:46, 27 August 2019 (UTC)
- @Cartoon network freak: If the source has added up the points, and is reliable, that is research done by the source, not original research. There is no other reason to not include the information if it improves the article, and the concensus is that it does. The article is a part of Wikiproject Eurovision, and the project's manual of style clearly states that voting history should be included in each country's participation article, which it is on every single other country's article. dummelaksen (talk) 04:53, 27 August 2019 (UTC)
- @Dummelaksen: This still isn't an excuse to add unsourced material to any Wikipedia page, let alone a FEATURED ARTICLE that is "Romania in the Eurovision Song Contest". And those WikiProject Eurovision guidelines are unupdated. If you can show me a source presenting a full voting history chart, then we can add it, otherwise not. It has to be by a reliable published (EBU or someone similar). Cartoon network freak (talk) 05:06, 27 August 2019 (UTC)
- @Cartoon network freak: It is sourced, and the guidelines are "unupdated" because they are good. The source does have full voting history charts and details the full voting history under the "voting" section of the database, where the sums of all points to/from a country by country can be seen (the fifth option), as well as the actual raw data (the second and third options). As I have said before the source is demonstratably reliable, and demonstrating that a source is reliable is not the same thing as putting original research in the encyclopaedia. Also, what sources count as "someone similar"? dummelaksen (talk) 05:20, 27 August 2019 (UTC)
- @Dummelaksen: Just show me one soure giving this voting history chart. Cartoon network freak (talk) 05:41, 27 August 2019 (UTC)
- @Cartoon network freak: Several exist such as this one from eurovisioncovers.co.uk, however it and all the others I found admittedly do not include the most recent years. I see why you think such a table would be necessary, however I think a case could be made that we can do without it, as we don't need a source for the exact number of confirmed countries for the 2020 contest, we simply add up the number that we have sources for, even if the number itself isn't in any source. If this isn't considered original research, I would not consider adding up numbers which already exist on Wikipedia to be original research either. Nonetheless, this is clearly a wider issue than on this one article and if you don't want the voting history to be included, I suggest you discuss this in the WikiProject Eurovision talk as this information exists on every country in Eurovision article. dummelaksen (talk) 06:41, 27 August 2019 (UTC)
- @Dummelaksen: Eurovisioncovers.co isn't reliable. Adding points by yourself still is original research. This issue had been previously discussed about before the article was passed to Featured Article status. Cartoon network freak (talk) 07:57, 27 August 2019 (UTC)
- @Cartoon network freak: you're mentioning this now after all the effort I put in to make the tables, discuss this with you and look up an acceptable source? Why didn't you just say that the first time you reverted the edit? And like I said, this is about more than just the Romanian article, please discuss this on the WikiProject if you object to the inclusion of the voting history. dummelaksen (talk) 08:06, 27 August 2019 (UTC)
- @Dummelaksen: Just show me one soure giving this voting history chart. Cartoon network freak (talk) 05:41, 27 August 2019 (UTC)

DYK for Ester Peony
On 10 October 2019, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Ester Peony, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Ester Peony, Romania's representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019, spent part of her early life in Canada? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Ester Peony. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Ester Peony), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Bringing Australia in the Eurovision Song Contest to FL status
I am probably going to tell you this but I feel like attempting to bring the Australia in the Eurovision Song Contest article to hopefully a FL status by mainly trying to follow the formula that you have put on the Romanian article. Hopefully in the future this will become a FL. HawkAussie (talk) 23:18, 4 November 2019 (UTC)
- @HawkAussie: Hi there and I hope you'll successfully bring the article to FL status. I put a lot of love and sweat into the Romanian article, and I'm quite proud of it being FL – you'll be too :). Million Award for Bad Guy
The Million Award | |
For your contributions to bring Bad Guy (Billie Eilish song) (estimated annual readership: 1,430,000) to Good Article status, I hereby present you the Million Award. Congratulations on this rare accomplishment, and thanks for all you do for Wikipedia's readers! Reidgreg (talk) 19:28, 5 December 2019 (UTC) |
I imagine you'd qualify to get this award a few times with your many GAs, but let this be a token of appreciation for all of your work. – Reidgreg (talk) 19:28, 5 December 2019 (UTC)
- @Reidgreg: Hi and thank you very very much for the award :) The song has a special place in my heart, and I was inspired to bring it to GA mainly due to its originality. Again, thank you and have a good day :) Cartoon network freak (talk) 17:41, 8 December 2019 (UTC)
Congrats on Inna's Spanish-language songs!
Hey there Darius! Congrats on those GAs you got working on Inna's Spanish-language album and songs! In case you were curious why I tagged those songs under the Latin music project scope, it's because any music sung in Spanish or Portuguese released in Latin America, Spain, Portugal, or the US is allowed in the project scope. So in a way, you helped us out! XD Thanks and congrats again on those GAs! Erick (talk) 18:48, 6 December 2019 (UTC)
- @Magiciandude: Glad you took those into consideration, and it's always a pleasure to bring Inna's articles to GA ahah. Greets :)) Cartoon network freak (talk) 17:41, 8 December 2019 (UTC)
Bad Guy
Hi, I'm trying to figure out how come you think "Bad Guy" was a No. 1 song on the Rolling Stone Top 100 Songs? Ilooked at every week's chart in existence and the highest I can verify is 3 (as shown here. According to WP:RSCHART, we shouldn't use daily peak only the weekly published chart as the official peak. I checked Bury a Friend and it says the peak on RS is 56, which agrees with the source even though it shows the daily peak is #8. I found the same thing with When the Party's Over (song), which peaked at #50 but daily peak says 8. To be correct, the peak for Bad Guy should be shown as No. 3 because that is what was officially published. Thanks. StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 00:48, 16 December 2019 (UTC)

Request (18 January 2020)
Hello, first of all I want to say that I really appreciate your amazing and inspiring work. Anyways I have a question, I'am currently working on several Albanian music articles and I really have no idea how to upload a music file into Wikipedia and may you do me a favour and upload a sample of "Me tana" by Elvana Gjata? I look forward to a positive response. Thank you!--Lorik17 (talk) 15:19, 18 January 2020 (UTC)
- @Iaof2017: Thank you for the compliment! I could craft and upload a sample on your behalf if you'd indicate what portion of the song you'd like to be featured. Greets; Cartoon network freak (talk) 17:29, 22 January 2020 (UTC)
- You're welcome, maybe a portion between minute 0:38 and 1:30? Thank you so so much!--Lorik17 (talk) 14:12, 4 February 2020 (UTC)
"Obsesii"
Hello again! I hope you are doing well. I just wanted to say that you hav done an awesome job with the "Obsesii" article. I actually really love the song and the music video, and I would love it if Stan released an entire album in Romanian. I had lost a lot of interest in Stan lately, although "Mr. Saxobeat" is a classic and I have a soft spot for "Mami", but I will definitely be keeping a closer eye on her future music releases after this. Symbols
I didn't follow your discussion with the reviewer about the symbols for first, second, third, etc., so I'm not sure if there is a reason why the placement is different between semi-finals and finals. In the semi column the symbol is after the placing, but when it's in the final it's next to the song name. Thoughts? Also someone pointed out that perhaps for first, second, and third, that 1, 2, and 3 are self explanatory? I can see a symbol needed for last place and the other types, however. - @Grk1011: We thought the way we did it provided consistency. For instance, placing the "third" symbol for 2010 next to the "3" in the "Final" column would require placing the "X" sign next to the number in the 2016 "Final" column too — but there is no number for 2016 since the country was disqualified. If you have further questions, feel free to ask me :) Greets; Cartoon network freak (talk) 21:36, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
- Couldn't the X just go next to "Disqualified" and the whole row could be shaded green? What about first, second, and third? Grk1011 (talk) 22:04, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
- @Grk1011: I think I implemented what you meant. Does it look good now? Cartoon network freak (talk) 13:43, 25 March 2020 (UTC)
- Yea that's along the lines of what I was thinking. Just one remaining thing: why do we need symbols for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd? Aren't the numbers self-explanatory? Grk1011 (talk) 15:07, 25 March 2020 (UTC)
- @Grk1011: The symbols are for colorblind people who can't see the colors. And let's say there weren't any colorblind people on this planet – then one could ask "why do we need the colors, aren't the numbers self-explainatory?". I just think this is for the page to be aesthetically pleasing. Opinions? Greets; Cartoon network freak (talk) 20:53, 27 March 2020 (UTC)
- I get that. I don't understand why we would use a hashtag instead of a "1" to mean first place, a dagger for second instead of a "2", and so on. The only one that sort of makes sense is last place since that doesn't have a set number each year. Isn't that easier to understand? The colors would still be used. - @Grk1011: Sorry for the late response. I think I understand what you mean now. Is it alright the way the article stands now? Cartoon network freak (talk) 14:23, 31 March 2020 (UTC)
- Yes, that's what I had in mind! Based on your feelings from the GA assessments, does that still satisfy their needs? Grk1011 (talk) 14:34, 31 March 2020 (UTC)
- @Grk1011: It's actually a pretty clever way to simplify the matter, thank you for bringing this up. I think it's working. Cartoon network freak (talk) 14:40, 31 March 2020 (UTC)

GA Review
Hello,
A couple of months ago, or so, a reviewer decided to open multiple GA review articles. He passed them withouth respecting guideles or giving us enough time to adress most of the comments and doubts we had. Nevertheless, I was thinking about some sort of exchange with you if you are interested, I would review your GA nomination of "Alcohol You", with no strings attached (if it fails, it fails if it is a pass it is one), if you could give a look and give me some pointers on a article he passed. I would very much appreciate your experience on Bruno Mars: 24K Magic Live at the Apollo. Currently I did this with another user and we are getting it done on another article. Nevertheless, I'm aware the article is GA status, but I strongly believe you could elevate the status of said article as we are two experienced users and our approch to said articles would be bennifitial and they would stay far from scrutinity or doubt. A discussion should be formed in the article talk page as some sort of second review. Please let me know if you are interested in something like this or not. I also have a doubt regarding the reability of a the source I removed, but more on that if you agree on this.
Kind regards, MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 17:54, 26 March 2020 (UTC)
- @MarioSoulTruthFan: Sure, I will look into that this weekend or next week. Looking forward to your review, and ofc, reviewers should always be sincere :) Greets; Cartoon network freak (talk) 20:54, 27 March 2020 (UTC)
- Great news, let me know once you started, I'm in between projects, but as I was thiking perhaps a GA Individual reassessment. I can't open it but it would perhaps the best opton for it. Let me know what you think. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 04:12, 28 March 2020 (UTC)
- @MarioSoulTruthFan: I actually don't think a reassessment is needed. I was planning to do a copy-edit, verify the sources and list possible issues on the talk page. Is that alright? Greets;Cartoon network freak (talk) 21:59, 1 April 2020 (UTC)

- I can see where you are coming from, however the reassessment would allow as to do some revison and stay away from any kind of doubts, I mean all the articles needed a second revision after such an easy pass. On top of that, if you think its still not up to standards you can fail it. Nevertheless, is up to you. You decide what is best, once you start let me know, so I can review your article. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 00:18, 2 April 2020 (UTC)

It's All About You (Juliana Pasha song)
Another user has nominated It's All About You (Juliana Pasha song) for GA. I don't think it's quite there yet, but since you've been paying close attention to the Romanian ESC articles, maybe you'd want to take a look? I assume it's on your to-do list further out, but it might be worth it to get it to GA now since it's already in the review queue. Grk1011 (talk) 13:53, 9 April 2020 (UTC)
- OMG I'm sorry I just went back and was like ohhh it's Albania. That's embarassing... Anyway, your expertise would be appreciated either way. Grk1011 (talk) 13:54, 9 April 2020 (UTC)
- @Grk1011: Ahaha, no worries :) Btw, Alcohol You has already been promoted to GA :)) The user in question has nominated several Albania-related ESC articles for GA status, including the most recent Fall from the Sky. However, I agree that the articles are not there yet, given the fact that the user hasn't done a deeper research on, for example, the composition, the reception and so much more of the songs. This also applies to his "Albania in the Eurovision XX" nominations. I appreciate him using the structure I used on my GAs, but his articles are not covering the topics enoughly. - @Iaof2017: Omg, nein... "It's All About You" ein bisschen oberflächlich expanded wurde. Background
I noticed that a couple of the mid-00s Romania in year articles are missing their Background sections. Do you have thoughts on their inclusion? Our WikiProject guide outlines what we had been working towards in terms of consistency between articles. Grk1011 (talk) 15:12, 15 April 2020 (UTC)
- And sorry if I seem really critical of everything. I'm just trying to coordinate things for the wikiproject so that we can have some (close to) perfect examples for others to use as a guide! Grk1011 (talk) 15:24, 15 April 2020 (UTC)
- @Grk1011: There's really no need to feel sorry, you can ask me anything anytime :) Personally, I hate when sections are "empty" and only have a few lines. Since Romania's history at Eurovision is not that lengthy (untill perhaps 2010), I figured out it may be a good idea to fit it into the first para of the lead. From 2010 onwards, I'll see what I'll do, but most probably a "Background" section. Cartoon network freak (talk) 17:28, 15 April 2020 (UTC)
GA nominations for Billie Eilish
I've seen you have written Bad Guy and Bury a Friend. I tried nominating Everything I Wanted but failed. Would you want to try and help me get to GA. DarklyShadows (talk)
- @DarklyShadows: Hey! Unfortunately, I do not have enough time to contribute to the article. However, I looked over the GA review, and it's quite obvious that what the article lacks is depth. There are far more sources online where you could pull information from. Sections regarding the song's composition, reception and music video, among others, could be substantially expanded. However, you could take Bad Guy and Bury a Friend as example on how to do it. Also, everything in the article needs to be cited. If you have any questions, you can write to me, but sadly, I don't have time to do these things myself. Hop you have a great weekend; Cartoon network freak (talk) 10:32, 26 April 2020 (UTC)
I have worked on the article and want to get your opinion. Thanks. DarklyShadows (talk)
- @DarklyShadows: The article definitely looks better now. I would advise you, however, to submit the article for a copyedit first before renominating for GA (see WP:GOCE/REQ) since this would improve its grammar, style etc. I hope you have a great day, greets; Cartoon network freak (talk) 08:04, 28 April 2020 (UTC)
Thank you
Hey! Thanks a lot for the help on the Billie project, it looks really good! I see you created a second userbox (I'm not sure if you were unaware of the existing one). I think it would be good to only keep one of the two in order to maintain simplicity and prevent confusion. I'm fine with choosing either, or keeping them both. Let me know what you think :) heyitsben!! talk 11:01, 29 April 2020 (UTC)
- @HeyitsBen: No problem! I am a big fan of hers, I own her CDs, so I felt like I needed to do it ahaha I'm done with pretty much everything concerning this project now. However, I don't know how to delete the second userbox. Perhaps you could seek help. Greetings; Cartoon network freak (talk) 11:08, 29 April 2020 (UTC)
Xanny
Sorry to bother you again. I have redone the article Xanny and want to get your opinion. DarklyShadows (talk)
- @DarklyShadows: I had already stumbled over the article when I was working on stuff on the WikiProject Billie Eilish page. I actually think you did a really nice job with the expansion and clean-up. The language could be better on some parts, but I only see minor issues which could be solved during the GA review. I think "Xanny" has great chances to be a GA. Cartoon network freak (talk) 15:05, 30 April 2020 (UTC)
Celebmix
Hello.
Sorry to bother you, but I couldn't help to notice that you have used Celebmix in at least one of your article. How do you consider it a reliable source?
Best regards, MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 14:48, 1 May 2020 (UTC)
- @MarioSoulTruthFan: There have been multiple unsolved discussions concerning this (see this and this as examples). However, there are multiple reasons as to why the website's use is permitted. The fact that Currinn is a qualified journalist is one of them, and, furthermore, he really cites everything he says in his articles and avoids controversiality. Hope you have a great day; Cartoon network freak (talk) 15:59, 1 May 2020 (UTC)
- The fact that he "avoids controversiality" I could either give or take. Not sure what you mean with "cites everything he says"? The former it is correct, he is indeed a qualifid journalist. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 16:16, 1 May 2020 (UTC)
- @MarioSoulTruthFan: Apart from his reviews, he never said or claimed to know about anything controversial. With "cites everything he says" I meant that he gives the sources where he's got his information from (according to the X publication, according to the Y platform etc). I would say he's generally quite reliable, and that's why I use him as a source. Cartoon network freak (talk) 16:32, 1 May 2020 (UTC)

Xanny
Tell me what needs to be improved and I'll help.
- @Darkly Shadows: The article is very unprofound and uncomplete. The laguage is good now, but there are several more sources and stuff that could be added to the article. I will, however, take time in the next week(s) and fix the issues by myself. I'll renominate again then. I hope you can agree. Greets; Cartoon network freak (talk) 11:50, 2 May 2020 (UTC)
Hi
Ok, I have just restored my edits. Plus I will add some more new names. Respect
- One more thing, do you think it's fair to link Inna to Global? Because Inna in Romania was with Roton. "Global Records has signed artists such as Inna which has been deemed "one of Romania's biggest exports" by The Guardian." Should we replace it with "Global Records has been deemed "one of Romania's biggest exports" by The Guardian."? Do you think it's fair or not? Because Inna was not invented by Global, she was very late signed, she can't be identified with Global. And also we should remove the photo with Inna. Let's promote another top artist, which was created by Global! Inna identifies with Roton.--.karellian-24 (talk) 17:27, 2 May 2020 (UTC)
- I also added Lariss and the following artists. Simply because they don't own yet an English page doesn't mean they are not notable in Romania. Lariss beats Vanotek, Roxen or even DJ Project I think in terms of everything. Videos with 69 mil, 25, 17, 13 and 12. Karmen is the daughter of "Minune", with "Lock My Hips" (21 million views). Regarding MIRA, she's already established in several labels and not just Global, 83 mil, 57, 34, 26, 24, 20 and twice 18. She is huge. Nicoleta Nucă, one video with 26 million views. The Motans almost 15 videos with over 10 mil and 41 mil and 28 with Irina Rimes and Delia respectively. And Robert Toma about 6 videos with +15 mil.--.karellian-24 (talk) 17:57, 2 May 2020 (UTC)
- @.karellian-24: Please read my whole message and try to understand what I'm saying. I strongly believe you have a misconception about the purpose of Wikipedia. It's not about promoting anyone, it's purely about stating sourced and verified facts. This is exactly why Inna should be specified as one of Romania's most successful singers and even shown a picture of—it really doesn't matter what past she had. She may have achieved success with Roton first, but she's with Global now and that's what matters. Just because someone has been signed with a label before doesn't mean they are sticked with that label forever. The same applies to Delia.
- Also... the notability of singers or persons in general doesn't measure in YouTube views. It is about their general notability. I'll let Mira, Karmen, Lariss and Nicoleta stay, since they had measurable chart peaks on the Airplay 100 and Romanian Radio Airplay Chart. But Robert Toma, Selly and all the other influencers fail(ed) to make a major impact(s), even in Romania alone (compared to the musicians) and that's why we're removing them. Another point... you really rarely stick to sources. No, we definitely can't say that "Global Records has been deemed 'one of Romania's biggest exports'" since this is not what The Guardian says. Please only include what a source says, do not make up things. I'm happy with you agreeing with my points. Cartoon network freak (talk) 17:13, 2 May 2020 (UTC)
- I am fine with it, pretty good. I was also thinking if I should add Robert Toma or not. I don't like Selly, but he and another 1-2 or 2-3 influencers are quite big for/in Romania. I believe Lariss and MIRA definitely deserve an English page now. But I am not so much into music, I follow my biggest hobby only. You should open more pages for our artists. I am also happy. Regards--.karellian-24 (talk) 18:25, 2 May 2020 (UTC)
- @.karellian-24: We will not add Selly and Robert. It's really not about not liking them, it's just they're not as notable as other persons in the list. If I have time, I may create some more pages Wish you a great weekend; Cartoon network freak (talk) 17:31, 2 May 2020 (UTC)

Romanian record charts
Hello, Cartoon network freak. This is a courtesy notice that the copy edit you requested for Romanian record charts at the Guild of Copy Editors requests page is now complete. All feedback welcome! LegesRomanorum (talk) 14:46, 23 May 2020 (UTC) |
Collapsing comments
Hello again. I just wanted to let you know that it is not encouraged to collapse or edit other people's comments on a review. I have seen instances where people get very irritated by it, so I would avoid doing that in the future. Just a friendly note about this from my personal experience. Aoba47 (talk) 17:46, 27 May 2020 (UTC)
- @Aoba47: Alright, I do understand. Thank you for the notice! All the best; Cartoon network freak (talk) 20:14, 27 May 2020 (UTC)
- To further clarify this point, I would recommend going back and undoing the edits to other people's comments in that particular review. It is not your place to "summarize" (as you say in the edit summaries) other people's comments, particularly since it makes it harder for the FAC coordinators and other reviewers to see what has already been discussed. Aoba47 (talk) 01:28, 30 May 2020 (UTC)
Let Me Try, would-be Luminița Anghel's debut single or not her first single?
Hi!
I was wondering why Let Me Try would be or was not her debut single. On Luminița Anghel's discography under Singles, it says it was her first single. But I don't know if her debut single was from way back in the 1990s? TheSkinsAdded (talk) 19:07, 30 May 2020 (UTC)
- @TheSkinsAdded: First of all thank you for your effort to add the right categories to all the (music) pages. But "Let Me Try" definitely wasn't her debut single; she's already taken part in Romanian Eurovision national finals prior to when she was selected in 2005 — and at least one of her entries must've been released as a single and have received some sort of radio airplay/Romanian Top 100 chart peak etc etc. She also had 1990s albums, including this one. I would just not label it as her debut single (although we don't know exactly what her debut single was). Cartoon network freak (talk) 20:04, 30 May 2020 (UTC)
Hi Cartoon network freak, hope all is well! Was wondering if you have the luxury of time to provide comments at FAC for the Regine Velasquez article. I understand you have experience with music related subjects, and you've also provided your inputs in a couple of FLs that have been promoted related to the subject. Not too sure if you are still active/involved these days, but would greatly appreciate any input. Cheers! Pseud 14 (talk) 14:29, 10 June 2020 (UTC)
@Pseud 14: Omg, I totally forgot about this. Today I saw the message again, and I remembered again. I'll put up some comments there in the next few days. Please also consider commenting on my current FLC List of Media Forest most-broadcast songs of 2009 in Romania. Greets; Cartoon network freak (talk) 10:30, 21 June 2020 (UTC)
Earlier today, this article was recreated with more content. I decided to review the sourcing to see if it was now notable. Out of all the sources from the article as of now, I found 2 that might show notability, but I'm not sure about any of them. The 2 of them, in order of my confidence of significance, are not too sure of independent coverage (Variety) and this one is less convincing (All songs ranked). My guess is that it doesn't meet GNG, but I'm not sure at the moment. Username6892 21:52, 29 June 2020 (UTC)
- @Username6892: Hi there! I'm so sorry for my late response... I'm also share the same opinion. An important criteria for a standalone article is that it should be the subject of media coverage on its own. All references presented report on the album overall, and not on the song itself. Also given the fact that a) the song isn't a single b) the song has a short lenght and c) it is last on the album, I'd strongly recommend removing the article. VKTM
Hello,
I'm not sure why you even nominated this for GA, taking into consideration your expertise in this matter and you are indeed familiarized with the criteria for music. Hopefully this won't influentiate our current work.
Kind regards, MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 13:11, 10 July 2020 (UTC)
- @MarioSoulTruthFan: Hey, I nominated this for GA because of the comments I listed on the AfD page. Greets; Cartoon network freak (talk) 13:15, 10 July 2020 (UTC)
Good topic
Hello there
Since you helped with the promotion of articles related to the 24K Magic era and I made some coments regarding some fixes on an FL list for you, do you think you can also make somme comments on the good topic for 24K Magic?
I would very much appreciate, kind regards, MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 15:17, 16 August 2020 (UTC)

Request for FAC comments
Hey, Cartoon! I hope you are doing well I sound desperate here, but I'd like to have your comments on this FAC for "Blank Space". I want to make sure the prose is ready for FA quality, and it needs one more substantial review. I'd really appreciate your help, and feel free to disregard this if you don't feel like it . HĐ (talk) 13:27, 17 October 2020 (UTC)
- @HĐ: Hi there, I'm sorry for my late response. Sadly I'm barely keeping up with Wikipedia, so I'm not able to leave comments on your nomination. However, I'm wishing good luck, things look good :) Greets; Cartoon network freak (talk) 11:18, 24 October 2020 (UTC)
- No worries. Hope you're doing well irl and wish you the best! HĐ (talk) 03:15, 25 October 2020 (UTC)
Heartbreaker and Happy Holidays
Hello Dareios, I hope all is well with you. I just wanted to congratulate you for your recent work on the Heartbreaker (Inna album) article. It's shaping up nicely and I am glad to see you're still actively editing despite 2020 being what it is. I hope you find success in your musical career and hope you know I've given a few of your singles a listen. Happy holidays, Zach. Carbrera (talk) 02:32, 6 December 2020 (UTC).
- @Carbrera: Hello Zach, thank you so much for the message, I really appreciate it School has been taking away a lot of my editing time here, but I'm still trying to keep things structured here and to create the articles necessary. And thanks for listening :) Do you have any socials? I'd love to follow you. All the best to you too! Cartoon network freak (talk) 08:01, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
Hi Cartoon network freak, I hope this message finds you well. The Ultimate Boss just recently retired and they left this FLC open. As you've done GA Billie Eilish songs and many FLCs in the past, I was wondering if you might be willing to pick up the nomination process for this one? Kanye West studio albums GTC
I have nominated Kanye West's studio albums for a good topic and thought it would be appropriate to notify you since we have regularly worked together on Wiki; do you wish to comment on the nomination? --K. Peake 11:21, 23 December 2020 (UTC)
Your GA nomination of Heartbreaker (Inna album)
The article Heartbreaker (Inna album) you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold . The article is close to meeting the good article criteria, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needing to be addressed. If these are fixed within 7 days, the article will pass; otherwise it may fail. See Talk:Heartbreaker (Inna album) for issues which need to be addressed. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of Kyle Peake -- Kyle Peake (talk) 18:01, 23 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hope you had a good Christmas; will you reply to my comments soon? --K. Peake 11:30, 27 December 2020 (UTC)
- @Kyle Peake: Hi there! See the review page for my replies. Regarding the Kanye West nomination: I'm so sorry, I barely have any time to myself these days, and I see there's more stuff to 'analyze' based on the others' comments. I'm confident the nomination will be promoted though. Greets; Cartoon network freak (talk) 21:58, 27 December 2020 (UTC)
Country in ESC languages
Hey there! I'm working on bringing San Marino in the Eurovision Song Contest to GA (or FL?) status. You worked on the only other article of that type to make it to a high rating (Romania in the Eurovision Song Contest). Did you have any difficulty with the language column for the contestants? The overall table source (eurovision.tv) doesn't list languages. Did anyone ask where you got the info from? I wonder if it's one of the differences between a GA and FL review. Grk1011 (talk) 15:16, 14 February 2021 (UTC)
- @Grk1011: Hi there, and I'm sorry for my late response. Also your article is looking really good, congrats on that :) In reply to your question, nobody asked me where I got the language(s) from, I don't think that's a fact that needs direct sourcing. But I see you have sourced it, which is even better :) Greets and all the best; Cartoon network freak (talk) 18:16, 19 February 2021 (UTC)
Hello, this is Soby.
I am trying to add some of the Romanian singers who has some songs in English, such as Smiley, Alina Eremia, Delia Matache, Andreea Bălan, Claudia Pavel and Corina are these singers that I added into this category. Since I listened to many English-language Romanian songs, could you find more English-language singers from Romania and add the singers to Category:English-language singers from Romania please? Thank you. Soby (Talk • Edits) 18:35, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
- @SobySobea: Unfortunately, I don't think I know other singer :/ You have really added a bunch. Cartoon network freak (talk) 06:42, 5 April 2021 (UTC)

Antonia's discography
Hi there! I don't know if you're interested in this but I've tried my best to update Antonia's discography with chart positions and proper links. I've seen that you've made Morena a good article so I thought that you may want to check it out! :) Sebbirrrr (talk) 16:08, 3 October 2021 (UTC)
October reviews
It seems like your GAN for Rampampam in the Music section is listed for nearly as long as my GAN nomination for the music group BTS. If you could do the review for the BTS article then I could offer to do the review for your nomination to try to move the articles forward. What do you think? Hello Cartoon network freak, I hope you are having a great week so far. I've finally gotten around and made some progress with the Regine Velasquez-related series of articles and have put it up for nomination at WP:FT. You gave valuable inputs in a couple of these and I was wondering if you would have the chance to provide your review? Much appreciate your time and totally understand otherwise if you are busy these days. Pseud 14 (talk) 22:29, 8 December 2021 (UTC)
- @Pseud 14: Hey there. It's very unfortunate, but I don't have any time at the moment to give comments to your nomination since I am very busy in real life. Really hoping that it passes though, since you have put in a lot of work. Hoping for the best and greets; Cartoon network freak (talk) 19:36, 10 December 2021 (UTC)
Eurovision 2022
Hey, hope you're doing well. Have you seen any of the performances for this year's Eurovsision? I just checked their YouTube page and saw Chanel's "SloMo" video and was impressed. Hopefully acts following her this year will be just as great or even better. – jona ✉ 15:08, 17 February 2022 (UTC)
