Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Stan (fan), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! Hello, I'm Oshwah. I noticed that you recently removed some content from The X Factor (US TV series)  with this edit, without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ~Oshwah~ (talk) (contribs) 03:11, 3 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. I have noticed that some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to Red (Taylor Swift album), have conflicted with our neutral point of view and verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you seek consensus for certain edits by discussing the matter on the article's talk page. Thank you. Destiny Leo (talk) 08:46, 16 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Your concern was already addressed at the article's talk page here, based on the fact that most of the professional reviews for that album seemed to agree that it was a pop album. Award show categories aren't really based on professional critiques or third-party sources. They're more industry-based, and nominations are determined by what market the artists are promoted to or given airplay in. It's not as simple as one would think unfortunately. If you would like to reopen this issue and voice your concern, you can do that by following these instructions. Dan56 (talk) 01:38, 22 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Discretionary Sanctions Alert (topic=blp)

[edit]
This message contains important information about an administrative situation on Wikipedia. It does not imply any misconduct regarding your own contributions to date.

Please carefully read this information:

The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.

Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.

Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
Also editing logged out as 92.22.20.230 (talk · contribs) and 92.22.13.148 (talk · contribs). Please use the talk page and cite sources before making such mass edits. Nymf (talk) 21:26, 5 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Dude, you have a long history of "warnings" being sent to you. But I am going to go on record as saying - I saw what you did with "Red" a day-and-a-half before "Destiny Leo" reverted it and sent you the warning. I didn't change your edit. I saw nothing wrong with it. When it comes time for you to defend yourself from being blocked, make sure you tell people that "Red" isn't to be included.
Also, I reinstated your "James Corden" edit. I found it to be appropriate. I am not going to go through every edit that you ever made to "right the wrongs of the falsely accused", but those two seemed alright with me. "Perfect Illusion" was reverted but didn't deserve a warning.
Kellymoat (talk) 11:21, 3 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I do, however, find it curious as to why "Destiny Leo's" warning is showing up in September instead of October. Both the edit and the revert were in October.

An article you recently created, Gold Derby Award for Best Comedy Supporting Actress, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. An article you recently created, Gold Derby award for Best Dramatic Actress, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. Notice

The article Jackson Maine has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This is essentially a long plot summary of a movie, focused on one character. The rest is about portrayal--content that should be covered, and probably is covered, in the article on the movie, and maybe the related movies. We should NOT be writing up articles on every character in every movie, and there is no suggestion that this character is independently notable like Batman or whatever.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Information icon Hello. Some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to React (The Pussycat Dolls song), have conflicted with our neutral point of view and/or verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you seek consensus for certain edits by discussing the matter on the article's talk page. The reference says it is "a sweaty pop song aiming more for Eurodance than hip-hop". It would be original research and synthesis to claim that this mean the song was of the Eurodance genre. As you know, wikilinks (like [[This]]) take our readers to related Wikipedia articles. Please check each link as you create it, to ensure that it leads to a relevant article, rather than a disambiguation page (list of articles with similar titles) or the wrong article. Where the correct article title includes text not to be displayed, please use a piped link, for example [[Soul (2020 film)|Soul]]. Thanks, Certes (talk) 12:30, 3 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You're receiving lots of warnings about adding ambiguous pages, but many of the incorrect links you're adding to Close Up with The Hollywood Reporter are redlinks (e.g. Jeffrey Tambour) or link to a page not related to the TV series/movie (e.g. Mom).
