Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited History of the European Union, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Congress of Aix-la-Chapelle (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello Aronlee90. Thank you for adding to the template listing US meddling in coups etc. I wonder, however... do you have references for Greece (1967) and Cambodia (1970)? The Greece article is unclear about US involvement, while in Cambodia "CIA involvement in the coup plot remains unproven". Thanks. --Wavehunter (talk) 12:53, 28 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Abdürreşid İbrahim

[edit]

Hello Aronlee90,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Abdürreşid İbrahim for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. MrScorch6200 (talk) 18:03, 26 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Second Danish-Hanseatic War moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Second Danish-Hanseatic War, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. I have moved a certain number of your creations because they are uncourced. All articles must be sourced as per WP:VERIFIABILITY. If you wish to create an article that is not ready to be published yet because you do not have the sources then please either use a draft or a sandbox and move the article once it is sourced and ready to be in mainspace. Your draft article, Draft:Rhenish League of Towns

[edit]

Hello, Aronlee90. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Rhenish League of Towns".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 08:56, 6 July 2019 (UTC) [reply]

IP block exempt

[edit]

I have granted your account an exemption from IP blocking. This will allow you to edit through full blocks affecting your IP address when you are logged in.

Please read the page Wikipedia:IP block exemption carefully, especially the section on IP block exemption conditions.

Appropriate usage and compliance with the policy may be checked (through the use of CheckUser) periodically, due to the nature of block exemption, and block exemption will be removed when no longer needed (for example, when the block it is related to expires).

I hope this will enhance your editing, and allow you to edit successfully and without disruption.

Richard Sorge

[edit]

Your edit of 09:38, 24 July 2019 of Richard Sorge introduced, among other things, {{sfn|Whymant|2007|p=13}}. This seems to be an error, because then (and now) there is no reference with that author and that year, and this short-form reference is one of several that place this article in Category:Harv and Sfn no-target errors. It would be great if you could review this edit and fix this reference and verify that all of your other short-form references correspond to listed references. —Anomalocaris (talk) 08:18, 9 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Dan Blumenthal has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No assertion of notability. No references to verify notability.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Jacques Novicow moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Jacques Novicow, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 14:35, 18 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Category:Ming-Qing War indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Liz Read! Talk! 16:52, 24 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Central Party School (disambiguation) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G14 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a disambiguation page which either

  • disambiguates only one extant Wikipedia page and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic);
  • disambiguates zero extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title; or
  • is an orphaned redirect with a title ending in "(disambiguation)" that does not target a disambiguation page or page that has a disambiguation-like function.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. See WP:IPBE. I'm curious, how were you able to work around this for all this time? --Yamla (talk) 13:08, 19 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I use different VPNs. The previous VPN, by which I applied for unblocking, failed today. So I have to use a new one. Unfortunately, the new VPN can only help me circumvent the Fire Wall but its IP address is blocked here. So I have to apply for unblocking once again. Hi Aronlee90. Thanks for your help on Gennady Rakitin. I appreciate it! Vejvančický (talk / contribs) 08:06, 4 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Haha, my pleasure. When I have some free time, I will add more interesting details. What an ironical episode! Aronlee90 (talk) 09:03, 4 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Almost funny, if you forget all the blood. Vejvančický (talk / contribs) 09:05, 4 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I don't know which one is more black humorous? Ukrainian farmers towing Russian tanks to sell as scrap steel, Black Undersea Fleet or this one. By now, Ukrainians and the world don't have to use the circuitous word Ruscism any more, and can just call what it is, Fascism and Nazism, not rhetorically. Aronlee90 (talk) 09:27, 4 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. My nation has almost recent terrible experience with this blodthirsty horde. Vejvančický (talk / contribs) 10:00, 4 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ironically, the same is with China. When the Russians invaded Manchuria, or Northeast China in 1945, they did exactly the same thing to the Chinese people there as they had done in Eastern Europe. In the previous century, Russia also robbed China of huge chunks of territory and completely massacred or disappeared the local people in the Far East. Please forget about the current quisling pro-Russian Chinese government. Sadly, we ordinary Chinese people just have no say. Aronlee90 (talk) 10:06, 16 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't conflate nationality with military campaign. I've reverted your edits. Please review Wikipedia:Categorization before making bold moves like this.
