Overall: New and long enough, sourced, neutral and not plagiarized (Earwig's tool reports a possible violation, but that's due to the quotes used). The only problem is the hook, which is not interesting enough in my opinion. Supporting a politician's visit is not unusual; please find an alternate hook. — MaterialWorks 20:42, 14 November 2023 (UTC)
Thanks for reviewing. What about ALT1: ... that George W. Bush administration senior country director for China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Mongolia Dan Blumenthal believes China has three roads to gain control of Taiwan? Source: https://thehill.com/opinion/national-security/3896916-china-has-three-roads-to-taiwan-the-us-must-block-them-all/ W9793 (talk)
- That's better, but I think it's a bit too long; try to be more concise. Plus, it's not mentioned in the article (the piece is listed in the article, but there's no prose about it). — MaterialWorks 09:40, 15 November 2023 (UTC)
What about ALT2: ... that Bush administration senior defense official Dan Blumenthal believes China has three roads to gain control of Taiwan? Source: https://thehill.com/opinion/national-security/3896916-china-has-three-roads-to-taiwan-the-us-must-block-them-all/ I've also added a block quote from the op-ed. W9793 (talk)
- I think we're good now, approved ALT2. — MaterialWorks 18:56, 15 November 2023 (UTC)
