This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Whoo Hoo! Wiggly Gremlins!, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00025ETPK.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. Hello Andersojn,

It seems to me that an article you worked on, Here Comes the Big Red Car, may be copied from http://www.amazon.com/mp3-downloads/dp/B003UAL1X2. It's entirely possible that I made a mistake, but I wanted to let you know because Wikipedia is strict about copying from other sites.

It's important that you edit the article and rewrite it in your own words, unless you're absolutely certain nothing in it is copied. If you're not sure how to fix the problem or have any questions, there are people at the help desk who are happy to assist you.

Thank you for helping build a free encyclopedia! MadmanBot (talk) 10:43, 22 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Sailing Around the World

[edit]

Hi, I'm Slashme. Andersojn, thanks for creating Sailing Around the World!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. This article doesn't make it clear why the topic meets the notability criteria for music. Did the album chart, or was it significantly covered in independent sources?

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. Slashme (talk) 16:17, 7 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The article Bruce Thorburn has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to You Make Me Feel Like Dancing (album) may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Let's Eat (album), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Paul Field (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Non-notable albums

[edit]

Hi. I recommend you read WP:NALBUMS before creating any further articles about individual albums without references. Deb (talk) 10:19, 1 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The article Dorothy the Dinosaur (album) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails notability requirements

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Thanks, but add refs please!

[edit]

Unless you are a savant, you aren't recalling the VFA/VFL ladders from memory, so please add you reference to the article, whether it be newspaper/magazine from the time, a website or annual reports, online or offline, we need refs! Cheers, The-Pope (talk) 15:41, 15 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I repeat. References are not optional, and it isn't OK to hope that others will add them later. You are obviously reading a website or book to get the details of these old VFA teams. Please state that reference in the article. The-Pope (talk) 04:10, 10 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
This problem is continuing with your recent SANFL Grand Final articles. You must include references. It's not acceptable to just hope others will clean up after you. If you refuse to start referencing the articles you create, you could be blocked from editing. Jenks24 (talk) 06:47, 15 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

VFA Grand Finals

[edit]

I might be speaking out of line or making some false assumptions here; but I feel it's best to be proactive and apologise if I offend. I see your new VFA/VFL Grand Finals navbox template, and it makes me a bit concerned that you might be planning to create short articles for every VFA/VFL Grand Final so that it isn't a navbox full of redlinks. Personally, I wouldn't recommend doing that, and I don't think it would enhance Wikipedia. There's probably only five to ten VFA Grand Finals that truly meet the WP:GNG and warrant their own article (off the top of my head: 1896, 1922, 1930, 1967, 1971, 1976, 1986 and 1990 are probably the only ones that might qualify). The other 130-odd Grand Finals really aren't notable enough to have stand-alone articles. I'd hate to see a whole lot of short Grand Final articles which just replicate a small portion of the season articles without adding any new content (like how 1953 SANFL Grand Final just replicates part of 1953 SANFL season without adding anything new). Replaceable fair use File:Greg Page in 2012.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Greg Page in 2012.png. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 12:23, 4 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

1990/91 NTFL season moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, 1990/91 NTFL season, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). 2019 SANFL season moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, 2019 SANFL season, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. The similar notability guideline says articles like this should be primarily text. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Your draft article, Draft:1992 TAC Cup season

[edit]

Hello, Andersojn. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "1992 TAC Cup season".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! HasteurBot (talk) 07:00, 10 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

WP:MOS stuff

[edit]

Just browsing the articles and I have noticed that your Northern Territory Football League seasons have a slash (/) instead of dash (–) that 95% of the articles that cover two years have. This is basically a form of MOS:RANGE as it covers two years instead of the one. Other than that, good work on working on the NTFL pages. HawkAussie (talk) 00:32, 27 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on PINT Football Club requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://websites.mygameday.app/club_info.cgi?c=0-2860-102655-567828-26748432&sID=258749. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
