You are super diligent in working on articles. Starzoner (talk) 15:05, 15 January 2021 (UTC) |
I'm sorry but "created properly"? How do you define "properly"? Starzoner (talk) 18:11, 5 February 2021 (UTC)
- Well it should probably have something in it at least. Usually I would expect the infobox and a basic lead, plus enough details to justify starting the draft. - adamstom97 (talk) 18:15, 5 February 2021 (UTC)
- ok then. I will just tag all of those drafts for deletion. I'll just leave it to you then. Starzoner (talk) 18:57, 5 February 2021 (UTC)
- You are welcome to work on them if you want, and they do not need to be deleted as redirects are fine for now, but if they aren't going to be set up as actual drafts then they should stay as redirects until they are. - adamstom97 (talk) 18:58, 5 February 2021 (UTC)

Bad Batch
Well from my point of view you are edit warring too. Constantly reverting my edits. I was trying to say that this show comes after season 7 while The Clone Wars was directly followed by Rebels. That's why I said it would be confusing for some readers. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.223.48.129 (talk) 22:16, 8 February 2021 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) Per the template documentation, these parameters are for series links, not individual seasons. The entirety of Clone Wars was the preceding series for Bad Batch. Rebels has nothing to do with this or these parameters as they are intended to be used. Also, per WP:BRD, you are the one edit warring, because you made the change, it was reverted, and it is on you to discuss. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 22:21, 8 February 2021 (UTC)
- Now I am a stalker great. I was trying to talk to this guy. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.223.48.129 (talk) 22:24, 8 February 2021 (UTC)
- No, the "talk page stalker" template refers to Favre, because he was "stalking" my talk page when he saw your comment. I have already explained to you why you cannot make that change, and that there are more details in the article itself to explain to readers what happened. I'm not sure what else to say -- you can't make that change per the documentation, and you don't need to anyway because it is already explained. - adamstom97 (talk) 22:27, 8 February 2021 (UTC)
- Well that's fine. But if you think it that way you should also fix other pages because in The Clone Wars page it says 'followed by Rebels' so it is weird. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.223.48.129 (talk) 22:33, 8 February 2021 (UTC)
- I have not been working on that article, but you can feel free to go fix other articles if they require it. Also, please remember to sign your comments on talk pages using four "~" signs. - adamstom97 (talk) 22:39, 8 February 2021 (UTC)
- I don't think other editor would let me. It says 'followed by Rebels' while The Bad Batch is a 'related series'. If it is a spinoff it should be anyway.
- (talk page stalker) It's okay to put
followed by Rebels
, but it wouldn't be okay to putfollowed by Rebels (season 1)
, simply because it doesn't add anything of value. It's followed by the whole series not just the first season. It would only add value if a series was set in-between seasons of a different show, in which case it would bepreceded by Clone Wars (season 3)
andfollowed by Clone Wars (season 4)
, for example. —El Millo (talk) 22:40, 8 February 2021 (UTC)- How about it is followed by both Rebels and Bad Batch?31.223.48.129 (talk) 23:00, 8 February 2021 (UTC)
- That might work, but I'm not so well versed in TV shows policies and guidelines, and I don't know how they handle Star Wars articles. —El Millo (talk) 23:26, 8 February 2021 (UTC)

Bad Batch has no direct relation with Rebels. The "preceded by"/"followed by" aren't really supposed to be for real world releases. So speaking directly to the Star Wars series, Rebels is more "related". - Favre1fan93 (talk) 03:09, 9 February 2021 (UTC)
- That's a doubt that came up to me. Are there for in-universe chronology or for release chronology? That's most likely why Infobox film doesn't include them anymore. —El Millo (talk) 03:43, 9 February 2021 (UTC)
Justice League
Hey Adam! I hope this doesn't catch you off guard, but I noticed you've been working on a draft for the Justice League article. Do you mind if I make some additions to it? I think it looks miles better than the current article. JOEBRO64 01:41, 16 February 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks, I have finally got around to working on it but I am pretty busy in real life right now so I'm just taking my time to work through it. My plan is to have a really good article for Justice League (sandbox 6) and a really good article for the Snyder cut (sandbox 10) and then hopefully we can get rid of the production article which I think is unnecessary and confusing. At the moment I am still throwing stuff in the right sections with the intention of coming back to tidy them up once all the info is in. I am also trying my best to get original sources rather than relying on recap type articles from recent years. I am happy for you to help out if you are interested as it is definitely a big undertaking. Let me know if you have any questions about my intentions. - adamstom97 (talk) 18:06, 16 February 2021 (UTC)
Falcon Winter Soldier
Thanks for the recent edits to the main article and starting the draft. I've still been in a big WandaVision mindset and finishing up adding info from all the interview articles that came out I haven't even looked into what's been dropping for FWS. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 16:34, 14 March 2021 (UTC)
- Also pile on and saying good job. Mind if I make an attempt at Episode 2? Starzoner (talk) 16:53, 14 March 2021 (UTC)
- @Starzoner: I personally feel it is premature for any episode beyond the first, given my reasons I stated at the FWS talk page. Unlike WandaVision, we really don't have any episode-specific info at the moment that we can use to bolster potential article. All that's been released through the few interviews done, I feel, apply broadly to the series, unlike all the great info we got ahead of time for the first episode of WandaVision knowing it was filmed before an audience. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 17:21, 14 March 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks Favre, I haven't really had much free time lately or I would have helped more with all the WV content out there. I thought those few articles about FWS would be more manageable. I agree that we should hold out on future episode articles until we get more info. I am interested to see when we will get enough for the first episode. - adamstom97 (talk) 18:32, 14 March 2021 (UTC)
- No worries. I know eventually you'll probably go through all I've added across the WV articles and give it a good c/e. I always appreciate that. Yes, it's going to be interesting to see what comes out from the press junkets for FWS and the production document, if it gets one too. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 19:36, 14 March 2021 (UTC)

- @Starzoner: Way too soon. The only directly related article to the series is the main one. You can't populate this with redlinks to article that many never exist. As the creator, I encourage you to nominate this for G7 speedy deletion until a template is actually needed. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 15:47, 15 March 2021 (UTC)

About Shahaneh
Hey, Tom. What should we do about this Shahaneh editor? Should we report him to WP:ANI, or WP:ANEW? —El Millo (talk) 02:57, 18 May 2021 (UTC)
- Hey, I personally didn't want to put time into disciplining someone as I have limited time to spend on Wikipedia at the moment, but I support the report that you made and hope this whole mess will be over shortly. - adamstom97 (talk) 08:26, 18 May 2021 (UTC)
You said you need proof/source that Black Widow is in Real D 3D.
Here's proof/source from the Official Trailer itself: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ybji16u608U I honestly don't know why no one ever watch's the Trailers. Please mention Real D 3D Screening somewhere on the Black Widow movie page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shahaneh (talk • contribs) 15:03, 18 May 2021 (UTC)
- You needed to provide that as a reference in the article when you made the change, but more importantly you needed to stop edit warring. - adamstom97 (talk) 08:26, 18 May 2021 (UTC)
Love and Thunder cinematographer
Baz Idoine signed on as cinematographer a few weeks ago. It’s confirmed. Google it. I didn’t make a mistake. Filmmaker8306 (talk) 02:18, 24 May 2021 (UTC)
- "Google it" is not good enough. As I have already explained, you need to provide a reliable source to confirm the information. That is how Wikipedia works. As I also explained, Idoine was removed from the cinematographer parameter recently following a talk page discussion (see Talk:Thor: Love and Thunder#Production Listing) and we have not found a reliable source since to support him being added back. - adamstom97 (talk) 02:49, 24 May 2021 (UTC)
"Based on" credit in DC films
Hey Tom, I have a question: why do most, if not all, DC films have their |Based on=
parameter filled with Characters from DC Comics
? Was it discussed as we recently did for MCU films or is it just always credited this way? —El Millo (talk) 03:25, 24 May 2021 (UTC)
- I don't know if it has been discussed as my involvement with the DC articles has been reasonably limited until now. I changed The Batman (film) to use that wording because I saw that the official website was saying it like that. I think from memory I have definitely seen this wording used in the credits onscreen for other films though I would need to check to be sure of what ones. I would be surprised if anyone had done an audit of the different DC based on credits as we did for the MCU articles, so I'm sure there are some that may not match the official credits currently. - adamstom97 (talk) 05:41, 24 May 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you, I thought that was the case but I wasn't sure. —El Millo (talk) 05:53, 24 May 2021 (UTC)
Regarding Black Widow
Hello adamstorm The previous edit was per the discussion at Talk:Loki (TV series)#"Featuring" vs "based on" in the opening sentence Seaweed Brain1993 (talk) 10:38, 14 June 2021 (UTC)
- That discussion was about changing the wording for certain articles to say "based on Marvel Comics featuring the character..." which is not the change that you made in your edit. Black Widow also isn't one of the articles that we were talking about I don't think. - adamstom97 (talk) 10:54, 14 June 2021 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) Yes the wording was specifically about the MCU properties that use simply "Based on Marvel Comics" in their credits. Black Widow does not appear to be the case, and thus those changes do not affect that article. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 18:51, 14 June 2021 (UTC)
On DCEU recurring characters
What should we do about the Recurring cast and characters table now that the discussion seems to have become stale? It immediately went off the rails with the canonicity of Zack Snyder's Justice League, but both DisneyMetalhead and Jack Sebastian's arguments have been refuted. By the lack of a response, I assume they accepted the refutation. On the topic we wished to discuss, which was the oversized table, Jack Sebastian said he didn't really have a formulated opinion on the size of the recurring cast
, while DisneyMetalhead said: While I believe that the cast list is getting to be too long, I don't believe that it should be limited to characters who are in the billing block.
They then suggested said that limiting the table to appear in in 3 entries may help with the 'clutter'
, so basically the opposite we had said which was two billing blocks. —El Millo (talk) 03:10, 23 June 2021 (UTC)
- How much does it limit it if we say three appearances of any size (ignoring billing), only counting JL/ZSJL as one? - adamstom97 (talk) 06:09, 23 June 2021 (UTC)
- I just did that at my sandbox, both with ZSJL on its own and combined with JL to see the difference —El Millo (talk) 06:12, 23 June 2021 (UTC)
- I think both of those are an improvement for now. If there is consensus for one of those then I think that would be a good next step. - adamstom97 (talk) 08:19, 23 June 2021 (UTC)
- I think we could go ahead and use the one without the ZSJL column. It's been seven days since Jack Sebastian responded to my rebuttal with just a small grammatical correction. I take that as accepting the argument that ZSJL isn't to be considered as separate from the theatrical cut when it comes to recurring cast and characters. That's the way I made it at List of DC Extended Universe cast members and it has remained unchallenged for more than two months now, so it would be consistent to do the same here. —El Millo (talk) 08:25, 23 June 2021 (UTC)
- That sounds good to me. - adamstom97 (talk) 08:35, 23 June 2021 (UTC)

Fixed the issue with the infobox
Hey Adam, I fixed the issue you encountered with the template. If you see in the future any more issues, please report them instead of reverting as there is no way for me to know there is an issue like that. Thanks! Gonnym (talk) 21:57, 2 July 2021 (UTC)
- Sorry, I didn't realise this was an infobox issue, I just saw that you had removed the title param and it wasn't working anymore and assumed that you hadn't noticed. My bad. - adamstom97 (talk) 22:00, 2 July 2021 (UTC)
- No, no, you were ok. I changed the code before it went live as I thought I messed the if order, but it turned out it was correct, but I just missed another case, which was why it surprised me it didn't work. Anyways, should be fine now. Gonnym (talk) 22:05, 2 July 2021 (UTC)

Question: What does c/e mean?
I notice that some of the edit summaries are tagged with c/e, was wondering what this meant. Thanks!
Also, keep up the good work. You do great work on the MCU articles. :) Dcdiehardfan (talk) 06:27, 26 July 2021 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) C/e stands for Copy editing. —El Millo (talk) 07:09, 26 July 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks both, and I will add that it is generally used as a catch-all term meaning "I re-wrote some stuff". - adamstom97 (talk) 08:56, 26 July 2021 (UTC)

RE: The Suicide Squad issue
Hey, it's me again, Dcdiehardfan. As you are probably familiar, an editor is trying to emphasize on Rick Flag's status as a Colonel. I do appreciate the fact that it is included in the plot summary, but I did see that he is billed as Colonel in the casting list. I was wondering why this isn't the case in TSS article. I did ask you this on the talk page, but you didn't answer, so I wanted to get this cleared up here. Any help would be appreciated, thank you. Dcdiehardfan (talk) 06:06, 11 August 2021 (UTC)
- Sorry, I must have missed that on the talk page. In my experience it is generally best to avoid putting things that aren't actually part of someone's name (like their rank) in the main cast listing, especially if it is explained in the plot summary and character description. One of the major exceptions to that which I know of is Doctor Strange in the MCU articles because it was decided that "Doctor" was both a title and part of his superhero name. There is probably a similar argument to be made in this case, and there is also an argument for always following the credits which some people like to use. I'm actually not strongly against listing him as "Colonel Rick Flag", my biggest concern with those edits was the whole pro-military tone and wording as well as the insistence on linking to "Colonel". If you want to suggest it again at the talk page then I can chime in there with my thoughts. - adamstom97 (talk) 06:55, 11 August 2021 (UTC)
I see. I think I will propose putting Colonel in the Casting list and leaving the rest as it is, but if the request gets blocked, it's fine. Its not that Mich of a big deal anyway, just as long as it is mentioned somewhere in the article. Dcdiehardfan (talk) 04:18, 12 August 2021 (UTC)

{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
. Drmies (talk) 01:22, 12 August 2021 (UTC)I might not have blocked you if it weren't for this, which is just asinine. Drmies (talk) 01:28, 12 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Drmies:Ah well, if you think it is appropriate to speak to people like that at their talk page then I guess there isn't much point trying to argue, but I would respond to your comments here by pointing out that I did in fact explain my reasoning at the user's talk page and in my earlier edit summaries, and I have never seen someone be accused of acting in bad faith because they removed a vandal's personal attacks from a talk page. If I misread the comment and took it too far by reverting it then I can accept that, but a simple revert and warning is all that is required there, not blocking me and attacking me on my talk page. - adamstom97 (talk) 01:55, 12 August 2021 (UTC)
- I don't know where you get "attacking" from. No, the real question is why, in the middle of an edit war, you revert the user's contribution to the article talk page. Contributing to the article talk page is precisely what we want editors to do, and we want experienced editors to not continue an edit war but rather wait for a resolution to come about one way or another. And "it was a vandal's personal attack"--well, the talk page comment contained the phrase "two vandalism editors", and you could have easily redacted that or disregarded that. All of y'all are calling each other "vandal" to the point where the word is meaningless. You want to get unblocked? Address the reason for the block, and rather than misconstruing my explanation as an "attack", consider how this might have gone better. Drmies (talk) 02:05, 12 August 2021 (UTC)
- I've explained why I did what I did and you've explained what you think I should have done differently. It's unfortunate that you decided to block me instead of just letting me know, but here we are. Once I'm unblocked, whether that is in 24 hours or earlier, I can apologise to the user and should be able to resolve the issue that led to their actions pretty easily. - adamstom97 (talk) 02:29, 12 August 2021 (UTC)

What If Episode 4 Soundtrack
Hi there Adamstom97, I don't know if it's a region thing, but I cannot find the album for Episode 4 of What If...? on either Spotify, Apple Music, or YouTube. Can you verify this? InfiniteNexus (talk) 02:36, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
- Weird, they must do some sort of calculation based on timezones as I already have it up on Spotify. That's why I went ahead and updated the article wording. - adamstom97 (talk) 03:02, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
- Huh, that is indeed ... strange (pardon the pun). The soundtrack is scheduled to be released in the U.S. in about 46 minutes anyway, so no matter. InfiniteNexus (talk) 03:14, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) In past experience, I'm pretty sure new albums usually drop 12 AM local time, not at a set time like 12 AM Pacific for the Disney+ content. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 14:41, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
- Interesting, I'm on the West Coast but the albums typically drop at 9pm PT / 12am ET for me. InfiniteNexus (talk) 16:34, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
- That could also be possible. I just know 12 AM EST is usually when I see new albums, and I thought that was a rolling release, but maybe for all of the US its just 12 AM EST. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 17:05, 3 September 2021 (UTC)

DC Extended Universe film pages
Hi there,
Just saw your edit on The Suicide Squad (film)#Cast, and I don't really have much of an opinion on whether to include the links to the cast member and characters pages. Do you want me to remove them from all the other DCEU film pages, such as Man of Steel (film), Birds of Prey (2020 film), Shazam! (film), Aquaman (film), etc., or do you want to do that yourself? It would probably also help if there were a better forum to discuss this with other users, such as a Wikiproject page, but it's whatever to me. Thanks, WuTang94 (talk) 21:37, 5 September 2021 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker)@WuTang94: currently the best place to discuss matters that involve many DCEU articles is probably Talk:DC Extended Universe. —El Millo (talk) 00:14, 6 September 2021 (UTC)

Shang-Chi related (nothing spoilers)
Hey, just wanted to let you know I have seen the film since the early fan screening a couple weeks ago and have been keeping an eye on all related articles. Enjoy whenever you get to see it, I really liked the film! - Favre1fan93 (talk) 13:57, 2 September 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks, I did see that you had started watching the articles again. I'm excited to see it as soon as I can. - adamstom97 (talk) 19:56, 2 September 2021 (UTC)
- Saw by your sandbox edit you watched the film! I hope you enjoyed it, I really did. I know you'll probably make some c/e adjustments to the film article, but I felt between myself and others, we kept it in a good spot with additional material and such. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 18:24, 18 September 2021 (UTC)
- I did enjoy it, and am really glad I was able to go this long without any spoilers! My first look at the article was that everything is in a good place, but I did want to do a small c/e soon just to look at some paraphrasing stuff. Good work on the extra material so far, and I agree on the timeline decision over at the MCU article as well. - adamstom97 (talk) 18:53, 18 September 2021 (UTC)
- Yes, after seeing the film twice myself, and thinking on it, the Screen Rant source talking about Chinese Day of the Dead made the most sense of how to help place the film. Also, there is a discussion on the film's talk page regarding Katy and "Katy Bashir" from the comics which is really the only currently active thread if you have any thoughts on the matter and would want to weigh in. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 02:00, 19 September 2021 (UTC)
- The fact that they are being cagey about it and the comments about Abomination and Wong suggested to me that She-Hulk will be happening around the same time as the film and could explain what is going on with Bruce, in which case they may want to wait until then to be more specific, but the Disney+ ordering should help clear things up. I saw the "Katy" discussion, wouldn't be surprised if they took the name from someone like that and made a new character similar to Ned in Homecoming, but for now I don't think there are any good sources for that so I agree with sticking to just "Katy" in the article. - adamstom97 (talk) 02:52, 19 September 2021 (UTC)
- Yeah, I feel She-Hulk's going to be in that time frame too. It could be an overlapping situation or one that has She-Hulk slightly before or after the film. I'm just shocked at how much Wong is appearing so far, and the fact that Strange has not shown up, and the first we'll see him is No Way Home, is crazy. If they pay off Fury's "Strange is occupied" line from Far From Home since at the time we didn't know what other properties were going to line up with the timeline, that'd be awesome. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 02:56, 19 September 2021 (UTC)
