English varieties
[edit]In a recent edit to the page Cheque, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.
For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to India, use Indian English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, or New Zealand, use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the original author used.
In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you.

[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Euro. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. ♥Th78blue (They/Them/Their • talk)♥ 19:53, 7 December 2021 (UTC)
Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently added commentary to an article, Meat tax. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments are more appropriate for the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. However, keep in mind that even on the talk page of an article, you should limit your discussion to improving the article. Article talk pages are not the place to discuss opinions of the subject of articles, nor are such pages a forum. Thank you.--Theagentofblight (talk) 15:31, 14 December 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Maritime transport, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Mako001 (C) (T) 09:06, 13 February 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome, and thank you for your attempt to lighten up Wikipedia. However, this is an encyclopedia, and articles are intended to be serious, so please don't make joke edits, as you did to Diseconomies of scale. Readers looking for accurate information will not find them amusing. If you'd like to experiment with editing, please use the sandbox instead, where you are given a certain degree of freedom in what you write. eviolite (talk) 20:37, 1 March 2022 (UTC)

Hello, IP user. Regarding the question you put in Jevons paradox as a comment: comments and questions like that are not typically put in the article mainspace; however, you can discuss them on talk pages or ask at the Teahouse or the Help desk. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page. Perfect4th (talk) 17:10, 12 May 2022 (UTC)
- @78.193.35.108: Comments & questions are not usually put in articles themselves. Feel free to ask your question at the Teahouse, the help desk, or the article's talk page though! Perfect4th (talk) 17:28, 12 May 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Adakiko. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Roller coaster, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Adakiko (talk) 08:27, 9 July 2022 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Sugar Association, you may be blocked from editing. InvadingInvader (talk) 19:50, 28 July 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm User3749. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Crossminton seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.
