Do not reuse ambiguous article titles

Please try and avoid creating a new article from an existing ambiguous article title, as you did at Ken Smith. The article would only need to be disambiguated anyway and notability would still need to be established. • @Drmies: I disagree with this block. First, edit summaries are not required. Second, the IP mainly adds info for which there does not need to be sourcing (for example, putting in notable undrafted players which can easily be verified by clicking on the link, making links, adding navboxes, etc.). As for the drafts, basically all of them are arguably notable (and I actually think the reviewers are way too strict) – the IP writes D-I college football seasons (always notable), D-I college basketball seasons (99% notable), and NFL player drafts (99% notable) – for a very decent amount of the declined drafts, I've later went through and improved them so that they were mainspace ready (also, if the topic is non-notable, it takes two seconds to hit "decline").   • @BeanieFan11 I think you just proved the point, though. You have had to improve their drafts to make them main space ready which means they were not ready (and even then it appears some were moved back). They are wasting volunteer editor's time with these submissions and scrolling through, there have been well over 20 different reviewers. I just rejected one (see below) after the 3rd submission without a GNG source but if you think it is notable, I can revert my rejection so you can make the necessary improvements (or you can override it and move it main space).   • BeanieFan11, if you were a reviewer (like S0091 or me) you would probably feel differently. No, it does not take two seconds to decline; no, when one submits a draft it should already be abundantly clear that it's on a notable subject. What this user seems to be doing is dumping a bunch of half-finished drafts in the expectation that others will clean it up: that's not the right thing to do, and that's why (as S0091 can tell you) we have such a backlog. And yes, communication is required. Unexplained edits are easily questionable. I don't really understand why you're extending all these courtesies to an editor who can't even be bother to comment on their own talk page, but you expect admins and reviewers to do all this legwork in order to go "OK, yeah, that was a positive edit" or "oh, yeah, that draft is indeed on a notable topic". As for the reviewers, if you really feel like it is causing so much harm to them you could always have the user's submissions placed on something like a category of "AFC reviews reserved for BeanieFan11."       @BeanieFan11 none of us can say why this person is doing what they are doing; only they can. IP, you are reading this, please do communicate. You have someone ready and willing to give you a hand. As for you Beanie, here are this IPs current pending drafts and see Wikipedia:AfC sorting/Culture/Sports for all pending submissions that are tagged sports related. If you are going to review any, I do suggest becoming an AfC reviewer so you can get access to the script because some things are automated (cleanup, etc.) and it leaves that nice acceptance notice on the submitter's talk page (you can do all this manually but its a pain). Also, what are your specific areas of expertise/interest? Happy to ping you to take a look at ones I come across. I do that already with Valereee and food related articles.
