Well, they're not all barnstars per se, and not all of them are nice, but I thought it'd be nice to have a long list of all those colorful things on one page.

Apart from tone and an artificial segregation of alternative investments from investments generally, the third aspect of the way that alternative investments are discussed that has interfered with institutionally oriented examination of them is rampant terminological inexactitude.

Mandarax has given you a Diddly-squat of Appreciation. Diddly-squats are not part of the WikiLove system, so you know that the person giving you this null set spent more than seven-tenths of a second to create this award and give it to you. Alas, I could find no free image of Ned "Diddly" Flanders. Please do not misconstrue the meaning. A diddly-squat is next to nothing, and nothingness is a very important concept, from the ancient Greeks to Sartre and beyond, so a diddly-squat of appreciation is a great deal of appreciation indeed. The template is stolen from Bongomatic, once removed from Sven Manguard. Enjoy!

Tangents
Note: I've "coined" words before, only to later discover that someone else had previously come up with 'em, but I was pretty sure adminiversary would be all mine. Alas, I've now checked, and I found that it had appeared on three other user talk pages. I have, however, created a unique word to describe such words created by me: portmandaraxteau. This word is both a portmanteau and an autonym. Going further out on one of my famous tangents... for an old discussion in which I mention one of my favorite portmanteaux, see this. And further still... I was reminded of another very funny portmanteau, from Arrested Development: Tobias created a new category for himself which combined analyst and therapist, so on his business cards he referred to himself as an analrapist. MANdARAX • XAЯAbИAM 00:01, 28 May 2012 (UTC)

I do like "portmandaraxteau". I lack the originality for such fancy footwork; I'm glad creativity is not dead yet. Drmies (talk) 01:51, 28 May 2012 (UTC)
Thanks. I like the plural: portmandaraxteaux. As for your lacking originality, that's just plain ridiculous – you're overflowing with creativity. Also, I've thought about it; that is a pretty horrible word and a concept which a small child should not be exposed to, so I've struck the offending word above. MANdARAX • XAЯAbИAM 23:18, 28 May 2012 (UTC)

Lipstick
Thanks for taking care of Paloma Picasso's red period. It was the Seinfeld of articles – the article about nothing! I must say you were more generous than I would've been. Again, the article really wasn't about anything; all it said was that her favorite color is red and she likes wearing red lipstick. This was absolutely an article on one of the most inconsequential subjects I can possibly imagine, written by a now-banned user, apparently solely for the purpose of creating an April Fools' Day DYK.
My most significant contribution to Wikipedia may have been derailing that DYK and keeping this garbage off of the Main Page. MANdARAX • XAЯAbИAM 05:23, 30 May 2012 (UTC)

The Barnstar of Integrity
For your support during the recent unpleasantness. PumpkinSkytalk 22:29, 16 June 2013 (UTC)
It's difficult to see a positive solution when people are baying for blood, even more difficult when the subject seems masochistic. I admire you for sticking your neck out when others wouldn't and wanted to let you know that. WormTT(talk) 21:19, 17 June 2013 (UTC)
I second that (in fact, I wish I'd thought of it first ;-) -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 21:27, 17 June 2013 (UTC)
(apologies for the fanboyism) I third it - especially the attached advice. Being a parent is rewarding, but hard at the same time exhausting - if we could find a WP equivalent of "who wants to go to the swings and run around for half an hour?" to get all that hyperactivity out of people, then life would be easier. Without your help, Wikipedia would cease to exist entirely. The world would fall into utter chaos, much as it did on 11 September. Even if You chose to be invisible today. Hafspajen (talk) 20:30, 11 September 2013 (UTC)
The Order of Nakhimov, 2nd degree, for you!
Please enjoy wearing this Order of Nakhimov, 2nd degree. Awarded for your "leftist, and anti-consumerism philosophy". Long live the revolution! --Demiurge1000 (talk) 17:29, 12 September 2013 (UTC)

Can't believe I haven't already given you one of these. It's designed for people who go above and beyond, in their ethics and workrate. Therefore you are an ideal candidate, Drmies. Thanks for all your hard work and pithy advice. John (talk) 02:34, 9 March 2014 (UTC)
Straight from the 2014 Cannabis Cup in Denver. Looking around at your talk page, you look like you could use a nice cup of tea and tasty snack guaranteed to make you forget your troubles for a few hours. Dennis Brown | 2¢ | WER 21:41, 25 April 2014 (UTC)
I hate to drink alone. Been a hell of a couple of weeks in the real world, and kind of bumpy here. Wish I could share a Red Oak with you now. Dennis Brown | 2¢ | WER 23:37, 2 May 2014 (UTC)

The Barnstar of Good Humor
Your lightheartedness and nonchalance slows the decline of Wikipedia into a chaotic bureaucracy and keeps it a fun and easygoing place. I always like seeing your name pop up in ANI threads, because I know you will contribute something genuinely positive to the conflict-imbued community. Thank you.
