Game Boy Pocket/Light

[edit]

@Ryūkotsusei: I agree that the Game Boy Light/Pocket *should* be full pages, but the template would be incomplete without their inclusion. They were both distinct models of the Game Boy released and advertised by Nintendo. As per your link to non-articles, the models should be included in that case. I'm unsure how to make them redlinks, but it appears they correctly link to the right section with the Game Boy page. Hopefully they can be their own pages in the future.. Let me know your thoughts. @Bchill53: Navigation templates provide navigation between existing articles. "Red links and redirects should normally be avoided unless they are very likely to be developed into articles" as explained here. « Ryūkotsusei » 02:00, 18 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Ryūkotsusei: Correct, and I was interpreting the sentence in here. right after that in this case: "Red links can be retained in navigation templates that represent a well-defined and complete set of data (geographic divisions, annual events, filmographies, etc.), where deleting red links would leave an incomplete and misleading result." The Game Boy Pocket and Game Boy Light are distinct models of the Game Boy, just as much so as the GBA SP is to the GBA. No new games were exclusive to either revision (GBA SP or GB Pocket/Light), but the new models in each case were significant revisions in both consoles' histories. @Bchill53: Those are not red links, and are not on the same level as the SP, hence the redirect. That can change if the redirected topic is deleted or becomes an article. « Ryūkotsusei » 17:18, 18 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
