[edit]I removed the following paragraph: "It has been rumoured that Junction Point Studios is infact creating two different games, as many people have questioned why Junction Point Studios would need the source engine for a cartoon game."
This is just speculation. For all we know they could modify the Source engine for rendering cartoon style graphics. Cartoony looking mods (or at least somewhat cartoony) have been made using the Source and HL1 engine. Technitai 12:49, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
Previous Work
[edit]I have a copy of the old TSR Uncanny X-Men boxed set for their Marvel Super Heroes RPG, which has a "Warren and Caroline Spector" credited as editors. Is this the same Warren Spector, or is it a different guy? (EDIT: Nevermind, double-checked the page and he was working at TSR at the time, so he probably did.) Disambiguation?
[edit]I arrived at this page looking for another Warren Spector, co-chief operations officer of the investment firm Bear Stearns, and namesake to a dormitory at St. John's College in Annapolis, MD. I am not skilled enough to add in a disambiguation page, but perhaps it should be done. - Especially given the recent BSC issues, we should probably mention something about Warren J. Spector. He's fairly important. taion 10:58, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
- I would advise not making a full dis-am page, but add a "could also refer to " tag. Warren's page is linked to from about 80 other pages, and unless there is some way of a bot changing all those links it would be a pain MrMarmite 12:24, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:FordSchick.jpg
[edit]Done --64.149.45.181 12:44, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
Image:FordSchick.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 09:25, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

His Top Video Games?
[edit]Are these really notable? What candy does he like? Whats his favorite color? Does he like long walks on the beach? It's potentially confusing to list them there, as for a start I thought they were projects he was involved in. Maybe we should remove them or at least move them somewhere else in the article. Co-President of Bear-Stearns?
[edit]Is anybody thinking of making an article on the other Warren Spector? You know, the one in the news? http://blogs.wsj.com/deals/2008/03/18/could-warren-spector-have-helped-bear-stearns-survive/ —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.186.138.103 (talk) 18:52, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
Closure of Junction Point
[edit]Could the part talking about the closure of Junction Point be elaborated a bit? It was because of the dilute reception of the Epic Mickey games, right? Would be good to have a source and just not base it on my speculation. 80.223.182.224 (talk) 14:28, 15 June 2013 (UTC)

Caroline Chase?
[edit]It says "Warren met Caroline Chase in 1984" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caroline_Spector Where it says: "Born Caroline Skelley" So why "Caroline Chase"? SimplexPL (talk) 16:22, 12 August 2023 (UTC)
- Good question, hopefully there's a good answer. Can we find the source(s) where her names come from? 2601:240:E200:3B60:5866:35E4:3002:D54D (talk) 20:51, 12 August 2023 (UTC)

System Shock 3 is not officially cancelled
[edit]Saying "where he was part of the development team for now-cancelled System Shock 3" is incorrect. The project is arguably in limbo and maybe unofficially dead, but it is not officially cancelled and saying so is wrong. I believe the wording should be changed there. 2001:861:39C4:3C50:34AA:F54F:E5E7:4982 (talk) 18:22, 10 November 2024 (UTC)
