You guys did a great job on this article. I’ve rated this from Stub class to Start. I have a few things to point out, though. The references here need some serious work. All of the English ones come from nearly the same sources and the rest are Japanese. Plus, the entire article needs more references as a whole. That should be the first thing you tackle if you hope to improve it to B-class. Good job! Keep up the great work. --haha169 (talk) 02:06, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. Also, the image with the caption “Example of what average conversation looks like in True Tears. Here, Tetsuya is talking with Katsura.” Needs to be made smaller to comply with non-free media policy. --haha169 (talk) 03:02, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the note, I've resized it to 640x480 from the original resolution of 800x600, hopefully that'll do. -- クラウド66819:31, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, it does. Its nice to see an active editor around. Assessing Metal Gear Solid for GA, even the nominator wouldn't care to address my problems. Once you're done adding the cites, try again for B-Class. --haha169 (talk) 23:08, 18 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I've added in two English source, one from Anime News Network, and one from a fan-translation group, which has inculded release and staff information on their project page (which I don't know if it could be considered a reliable source). It didn't cover much of the information in the page, but that's all I'm able to find in English for now. -- クラウド66823:11, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
That's fine. It is a Japanese Anime, and therefore, quite difficult to find English sources that fit WP:V's criteria. Try your best, however, but remember that Wikipedia states that not all articles can become GAs, simply because of lack of references. --haha169 (talk) 05:36, 22 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think you messed it up at all Cloud, and think you've done a good job expanding it thus far. I'm not much of a copyeditor when it comes to prose, though, so I usually can't tell if the prose needs a copyedit or not. Also, you could merge the drama CD and music together into a single "Audio CDs" section, as is seen at Planetarian: Chiisana Hoshi no Yume, and then stick it under the media section. You could also check getchu.com. They have a monthly and yearly rankings on the most popular bishōjo games; 2006's is viewable here (haven't checked if True Tears ranked, though there's many categories); the rest of the rankings can be found here. Although, I'm sad to say, True Tears didn't even rank in the top 100 best selling bishōjo games of 2006, but hey that could be something in itself to say "the game only achieved less than 8000 sales in 2006", though you'd have to find another source for that; still, it's good to know where the game stands in terms of popularity. And, btw, that ranking does list non-eroge titles. And of course, when the PS2 game finally comes out, Famitsu will probably give it a ranking. Also, it might be a good idea to create articles for some of the red links in the article (Comi Digi has been asking for it for a while, and I was selfish enough only to create it's spin-off Comi Digi + some months back). La'cryma probably deserves one too; though most of the others, the people, can probably be delinked since I doubt there'd be too much info on them for notability purposes. When I try to build up an article, I always try to make it red-link free, though that's just one of my quirks (it annoys me to see too many red links on an article I work on constantly). Also, Yozuca* needs to be capitalized per English MOS concerns; same reason this article isn't "true tears".--十八09:31, 22 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I think that, as a VG article, a music section is crucial, so I am not quite sure if I'd be able to somehow mix the two together, but I'll give it a try. On the other hand, I checked the getchu.com rankings (I never realized there's a popularity ranking there, thanks), but as it appears, True Tears didn't gain enough attention (perhaps due to its non-adult nature, which might be why Sora o Tobu, Mittsu no Hōhō. is being made as an eroge), so it wasn't listed on any of the categories. Now I can only hope that my google skills will improve, or the anime brought enough attention to cause the PS2 version to gain higher sales. --クラウド66818:26, 22 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
