Talk:The Nameless Mod
The nameless mod is a huge mod project that has now been released, and has been mentioned in various forms of video game media, including PC Gamer. As such I beleive it deserves its own wikipedia entry. 217.208.248.154 (talk) 14:52, 28 April 2009 (UTC)
- When you say "mentioned", do you mean they wrote an article on the mod, or do you mean they just made a passing mention of it in a general article on mods, or a list of mods? Trivial coverage isn't sufficient for notability.--Drat (Talk) 15:29, 28 April 2009 (UTC)
It's 2 page coverage, which is more than the average game's coverage length. It should also be noted that it contains new models, textures, story and code. The only thing that it shares with the original game is the engine and the gameplay element of augmentations. Therefore, it's not trivial whether there should be a Wikipedia entry for The Nameless Mod, as it's practically another game - much like Unreal and Unreal Tournament, because while they share the same engine and some similarities, they are different from each other. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.81.169.32 (talk) 16:22, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
