Downes landing role of Master Chief- citation needed
[edit]My understanding was that Steve Downes was well-known to the older members of Bungie, as many of them were Chicago natives and the company was based in Chicago from its inception in 1990 until 2000 when they were bought by Microsoft and transplanted to Redmond, WA. That they cast him in the role of Master Chief because they were long-time fans of Downes' voice as a DJ, not because of a minor role he played in an obscure video game from 1999. If what's stated in the article is true, then someone should be able to find citation for it without too much trouble. Druff 03:29, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
