This is not a real-time strategy game, it's turn-based tactics game as described by other wikipedia articles... I've changed the categorization, etc. to match.
Relation to Fallout
[edit]I've heard that the codebases for Away Team and Fallout have a substantial amount in common, and may even use the same "engine". How much truth is there to this? 216.228.20.138 07:48, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
I can not understand why, when I clicked a "away team" wikilink in Communicator (Star Trek), I've been brought here by a redirect, to an article about a not so much known video game, instead of one which deals with "away team" meaning in Star Trek series (that is: the landing party), which is by far more known (even to not-Star Trek fan) and more notable. So, I can not understand this redirect. --79.21.150.43 (talk) 20:34, 6 September 2012 (UTC)
- Agreed. This is one of the worst redirects I've ever seen. I'm trying to rectify this problem. Viriditas (talk) 01:59, 24 January 2015 (UTC)
- Much better with "away team" now going to the disambig page. Miyagawa (talk) 12:49, 24 January 2015 (UTC)
- As was pointed out in the earlier reversions, that is not "much better", but worse as WP:MALPLACED. The WP:RM that has finally been opened is much better, and (assuming it results in the move) then the dab can be rearranged. -- JHunterJ (talk) 14:11, 24 January 2015 (UTC)
- You're confusing proper redirects and dabs with a now deleted deletion discussion. The video game has never been the primary topic. Viriditas (talk) 18:07, 24 January 2015 (UTC)
- You're confusing English words with whatever gave you that impression. I responded to "away team now going to the disambig page", a description of the WP:MALPLACED arrangement. -- JHunterJ (talk) 03:15, 28 January 2015 (UTC)
- Nonsense! Why does "away team" still redirect here, a week after the problem was identified and a fix was attempted? You have used the bureaucracy of Wikipedia to prevent editors from fixing the problem. This is unacceptable. Is it more important to follow procedure or to fix a glaring error? The policies are clear on this. Viriditas (talk) 05:18, 2 February 2015 (UTC)
