Square Enix corporate presentation
[edit]http://www.hd.square-enix.com/eng/news/speeches/20111125/page01.html
Out of boredom, I stumbled upon this. It has a lot of information regarding Square Enix's structuring and position in the marketplace during its leadership with Yoichi Wada. I believe that a lot of information presented here can be implemented into the Square Enix article. Iftekharahmed96 (talk) 11:30, 18 February 2018 (UTC)
Purpose column for Square USA
[edit]I fixed this row as it previously said Square Enix was a subsidiary of itself and was formed in 1995, when this was actually referring to Square USA. I'm not sure of a good Purpose for this company, so if someone knows a better one, please modify it. lukini (talk | contribs) 03:26, 14 July 2018 (UTC)
Feb 2019 source - DS era to present
[edit]- https://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/2019-02-25-rising-game-development-costs-have-forced-square-enix-to-find-its-soul - I’m not sure how much of this is already in the article, as I haven’t actively maintained it, but I found this article to be very informational and accurate to my observations on the company in the last decade or so. Financial Figures
[edit]Are you guys sure that the revenue is 260,527 billion JPY? I believe that a comma was used instead of a separator? GiChoc (talk) 18:04, 19 February 2021 (UTC)
- It's right and wrong. They're using comma as a separator (see the percentages where they use a period for decimals), but the table is for millions of yen, not billions, so the effect is the same. Will fix. --PresN 03:27, 20 February 2021 (UTC)
Square Enix and Grin
[edit]Can this be included in the controversy section if created? ^ see Refidea. Timur9008 (talk) 16:12, 28 September 2021 (UTC)
SquareSoft and Square (Enix)
[edit]I wonder why there is no word about SquareSoft in the article. The merger is mentioned, but only Square is mentioned, not SquareSoft... can someone explain to me why? ඞඞඞHatsuneMilku(=^ ◡ ^=) (talk) 06:42, 18 July 2022 (UTC)
Add Drakengard/Nier to the intro as a notable franchise?
[edit]The top says it all but u reckon we should add it in the intro sentence since it’s basically a flagship franchise. NakhlaMan (talk) 05:11, 17 March 2023 (UTC)
When did they start publishing books in Japanese
[edit]I noticed this article says they started published in English in 2019 but does anyone know when they started publishing in Japanese and if anyone knows can it be added to the article as well? Isla🏳️⚧ 19:29, 12 March 2024 (UTC)
