Plot
[edit]Well, I've merged the plot and gameplay sections but I've been reverted by Darkknight2149. So, I'd like to argue why I thik the plot is unnecessary: it's not a de facto plot; it's only a simple premise to contextualize the game. For what we have now written under the plot section, I guess only until "aide the battle" we really explain the plot. Then we have, "Spider-Man goes after X (his other versions) [the versions are pretty unnecessary and maybe cruft], then goes after Y, and Z." Seriously? I think it can be well handled along with gameplay because it can be explained with the explanation of what is the story mode. Basically, where there is "each issue has five main missions which ends up with a boss fight" we can add the name of the bosses if it is even necessary. Opinions? - Nice expansion. I've upped it to B class. My only suggestion would be to paraphrase and situate many of the quotes in the Reception rather than saying X said "Quote", etc. As for the plot, I agree that it isn't necessary, especially as its own section (if at all). Platformers are infamous for not having significant plot. However, it would be would discussing if reliable sources consider the game's plot/setup important by covering it in their articles. czar ⨹ 21:20, 19 April 2015 (UTC)
- @Gabriel Yuji First, I'd like to thank you for the major improvements you've made to this article. I think the plot is necessary because there IS a story and there are cinematic cut-scenes and I don't really see any reason to merge the section with gameplay because the story and gameplay are mostly separate (albeit influential to each other). However, I believe that to understand the gameplay, you kind of have to understand what is going on, so I think the plot should be placed before the gameplay. Without changing any of the text, I went ahead and moved the plot before the gameplay. Darkknight2149 (talk) 14:05, 20 April 2015 (UTC)
Clarification needed
[edit]Hey, Baffle gab1978. First, thank you very much for the thorough copyedit! Second, I'd like to ask if (with this edit) I've clarified the sentence you tagged. Regards, Gabriel Yuji (talk) 03:21, 5 August 2015 (UTC)
