What is the name of the girl that introduces levels? Her name is mentioned in the audio, but I can't make it out, and if it is written in text, well, I can't read Japanese either.

Pulseman and Pokémon DP Music

[edit]

http://volteccer.atomic-fire.com/music.shtml as a reference, Neo Tokyo doesn't sound very much like the DP Rival theme to me. At least, I don't think it does. Am I just thinking of the wrong song? --ArrEmmDee 20:25, 9 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, I heard bits and pieces of the rival theme resembling Neo Tokyo. Also, I don't think Ledian looks like Pulseman at all.

Pulseman looks more like a Scizor than it does like a Ledian.

Addition: Remoraid is a revolver? Lychosis T/C 20:40, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, it is, actually. Its Japanese name, Teppouo is literally "gun-fish" and in one episode of the anime, the characters watch a Western where the characters use Remoraid instead of guns.—Loveはドコ? (talkcontribs) 21:40, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Huh. Wow. Guess you learn something new every day, thanks for that. Lychosis T/C 21:53, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Virtual Console

[edit]

Is this on Virtual Console? This page is in the VC category, but I've never heard of that, and it's not noted anywhere besides the infobox. We should actually mention it in the prose.—Loveはドコ? (talkcontribs) 00:42, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Volteccer! fansite

[edit]

I was a little dismayed to see that someone removed a link to Volteccer! because it has MP3s from the title Pulseman. Yes I am the site's creator, although I didn't put the link in this article originally. I looked at Wikipedia's posting policies myself and found nothing about prohibiting or discouraging external links to sites that carry copyright material. I am convinced that Wikipedia probably has links to thousands of such sites, not to mention that the copyright infringement of a thirteen year old game that saw a limited release is trivial at best. While Volteccer! is a fansite it contains a great deal of comprehensive information about the game, and I think serves as an asset to Pulseman information, at least until a more "official" site comes along. At any rate, if I'm shown something that states Wikipedia does not allow external links with copyrighted material, I won't have any qualms about the link being removed.

We see nothing wrong with that, the site has been re-added. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.138.207.198 (talk) 22:39, 12 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
