Article based on miss-understanding, but the animation is correct

Procedural animation is animation that is not frame by frame, and also is predictable, hence "Procedural". In the helpful animation, there is rotation (position worked out by circle equation), also the explosion happens the same as each time (pseudo-random particle positions). Also a sine wave on the water. See Procedural generation or fractals to understand. I don't have any citations or will to rewrite this but it is just a very common programming technique.

Merger proposal

I propose that Parametric animation be merged into Procedural animation. The terms are synonymous, and the article for parametric animation is fairly dead. 78.86.43.63 (talk) 11:22, 21 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
