Multithreading
[edit]This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
Disclosure: I am a developer at Paradox Development Studio. This page states that Clausewitz is a single core engine, which is outdated information. The engine is multithreaded as of Hearts Of Iron III: For the Motherland and can thus utilize multiple cores. Games starting with Crusader Kings II were multithreaded from launch. - @Sharded: I've removed the line since it does not have a WP:RS and the information isn't particularly important to an generalist interested in the studio. If you can pick out a source from this Google custom search for video games reliable sources which talks about the threading for the engine, we can add some information back in. --Izno (talk) 12:26, 28 February 2017 (UTC)
- @Izno: Thanks. No need to add additional information. Sharded (talk) 18:12, 28 February 2017 (UTC)
work!
[edit]So, since this page was made, I'll get to work linking the games they developed to the dev studios instead of the paradox publishers (paradox interactive). If anyone else wants to collaborate on any paradox pages/things just let me know. daintalk 06:21, 29 August 2012 (UTC)
(Suggestions) A new section entitled "Notable Alumnis"
[edit]I would like to suggest a section entitled "Notable Alumnis" listing all current and former notable alumni/employees who have their own biographical article on Wikipedia such as Johan Andersson (game developer) and Jon Shafer. In principle, this idea could be applied to other game development studios as well. --Legion (talk) 14:10, 2 November 2017 (UTC)
- I don't think this is a good idea. If they were indeed notable, they should belong in prose in the history section, explaining what made them notable at the company. A simple list (as we see with school articles) is just messy and often times unsourced, as well as not very encyclopedic. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 19:06, 2 November 2017 (UTC)
