Include the infamous "sleepover"?
[edit]This might be considered trivial in other sources, but in the industry this was considered to be pretty big news since any impropriety by the talent could end with them being booted from whatever group or label they're with. Here's some cached stories about it: [1], [2] The idol in question ended up resigning from her group, so I think this would be noteworthy. If there's no complaints, I'll add it. - Here's some more. [3], [4] While he's already notable for creating Sakura Wars, they wouldn't do as sources to show he created it. I think we might have to go for the paper sources for this one. I think there's probably more sources in Japanese and that'll take a while to wade through with Google translate. Tokyogirl79 (talk) 09:12, 19 November 2011 (UTC)tokyogirl79
- Brief note: Here's a translated search through Japanese sources if anyone wants to help me go through these: [5]Tokyogirl79 (talk) 09:16, 19 November 2011 (UTC)tokyogirl79
- Interview. Haven't assessed reliability. Goodvac (talk) 09:30, 19 November 2011 (UTC)
- I'm not quite sure what to make of that site either, to be honest. It's a good interview but I'm not sure how reliable the source is.Tokyogirl79 (talk) 10:28, 19 November 2011 (UTC)tokyogirl79
- I did notice that the Japanese wiki has it on their page and that there's a lot of pages on there with links from that website. No way of telling if that's because it's reliable or because it was added by the page. It looks like one of the editors from the magazine is notable and it's mentioned on their page, but we'd need someone fluent to really verify any of this. [6]Tokyogirl79 (talk) 10:34, 19 November 2011 (UTC)tokyogirl79
- There are also more results for "Oji Hiroi" rather than "Hiroi Oji". Goodvac (talk) 09:40, 19 November 2011 (UTC)
Found Links
[edit]Thought I'd start a second area about the links we found and share them to see if they're good or not. Here's an interview I found with Oji: [7] It's put out by the Mainichi Broadcasting System, so it's reliable. Tokyogirl79 (talk) 10:37, 19 November 2011 (UTC)tokyogirl79
- This one talks about the whole sleepover incident but also goes more into his past as well. [8]. Reliability is suspect, though. It looks a little bit like a blog but I'm not sure. I also have this, but I'm not quite sure what it's supposed to be about. In any case it looks like there was a show that shared his name in the title. [9]Tokyogirl79 (talk) 10:48, 19 November 2011 (UTC)tokyogirl79
- Ahh... found it. It looks like a radio show that did a little bit of everything. [10]Tokyogirl79 (talk) 10:51, 19 November 2011 (UTC)tokyogirl79
- Here's another one [11], although I'm not sure of the source. It looks to be an interview done elsewhere and someone copied it to their page. Tokyogirl79 (talk) 10:50, 19 November 2011 (UTC)tokyogirl79
