Peach, Mario and the other women

Actually, Princess Peach isn't be kidnapped always or often. She is kidnapped for about 34 times while she appeared at about for 99 games(And there are more games that Princess Peach is a playable character. These sources are big examples.).[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15] However, In introduction of Princess Peach Wikipedia article, 'She often plays the damsel in distress role within the series' is written on 2nd line of Princess Peach introduction part. I think 'She often plays the damsel in distress role within the series' needs to be changed to 'She often plays the damsel in distress role within the adventure series.' Because she is often kidnapped in Mario adventure series, but she is a playable character of Mario spin-off series and Super Smash bros. series.

And it needs to be added about Super Mario Run, in 'Appearance' part of Princess Peach Wikipedia article. In Super Mario Run, she is kidnapped in early phase. But after she is rescued by Mario, she becomes a playable character and goes to sweep Bowser.[16] Also, she can travel great distances with a floaty jump. In case of Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, it will be released on August 2017. Princess Peach is a playable character of this game who has very well-balanced variable statistics.[17] So please add about Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle after be released.

Written on August 3rd, 2017 : Here are my 2 requests about changes I want to be made.(I already brought 17 sources for my requests on July 20th, 2017. They are written on an above paragraph.)

1. Please change the sentence that is called 'She often plays the damsel in distress role within the series and is the lead female.' to 'She often plays the damsel in distress role within the adventure series and is the lead female.' . this sentence is written on introduction part of Princess Peach article ahead of the table of contents of Princess Peach article that is named Concept and creation.

Because Princess Peach is often kidnapped in Mario adventure series, but she is a playable character of Mario spin-offs series and Super Smash Bros. series.

2. In the table of contents of Princess Peach article that is named Appearances, please add this content.

Hi. Just wanted you to know that Peach owns 2 games :

"Super Princess Peach" in 2006, yes, but she also owns "Princess Toadstool's Castle Run", where she is the main character and the only playable character, so technically, this is her first game and the first time she was under the spotlights. The game was out in 90's on the Nelsonic and you can find the game on the Nelsonic page's games list (Wikipedia).

This artwork is too old

Nintendo reworked on all main characters's artworks. This one doesn't represent exactly her new appearance through all new games. Although she keeps the same colours for her outfits, hair and eyes, she doesn't have the same face and skin color. Wrong description

“One of Peach's most common traits during her playable appearances is her ability to temporarily float in the air with her large skirt”.

Wrong. This ability is named “floating jump” through several games and she can use it without her dress, especially in Super Mario 3D World (2013), where she can use it while she’s wearing the cat costume thanks to the Super Bell. That shows she doesn’t need a skirt to perform it. A dress can’t allow you to float like this. It’s a magical ability. Mention of sex game

I do not think the mention of an illegal sex game adds anything to the article. Porn is made of every character everywhere, so it goes without saying that it has been made of a very popular female video game character. Toadstool was the NA name before it was transitioned into Peach.

In Mario tennis, her name is Peach.

This article should follow the convention of WP:COMMONNAME in a similar way to other characters with different names like Darth Vadar. She has been known as simply Princess Peach since Super Mario 64, which was the transition point between Toadstool and Peach in NA. Toadstool has been completely phased out - it's not mentioned by Nintendo on their official websites, nor in the gaming press, so the first sentence should name her as Princess Peach, followed by an explanation of her earlier name. Image of Peach in film

There is commentary for Peach in the film, but nothing about how she looks and the actual text on the image of her just states this an image to be used in the infobox. This fails the fair use for including the imagery of her in the article. Andrzejbanas (talk) 12:14, 17 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It feels a little unclear with the current wording.

-Baby Peach is randomly introduced in the "Other Mario games" section with no prior reference. Given she often acts as a separate character, it might be worthwhile to elaborate on her earlier on.
