- Comment — There is an ongoing discussion for changing the article's title to NYXL (company). I wonder, till then (probably it'll take a week), should we put this nomination on hold? – Kavyansh.Singh (talk) 05:01, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
- Placing on hold. SL93 (talk) 15:13, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
- while we're on that, I'm not sure I quite like a hook that says an author is the ceo of a company (like, so is Hank Green)—is there an alternative we can find? theleekycauldron (talk • contribs) (she/they) 22:14, 10 April 2022 (UTC)
- Theleekycauldron ALT1: ... that esports organization NYXL intends to build its headquarters in Manhattan and establish a youth training program over the coming year? SL93 (talk) 18:18, 14 April 2022 (UTC)
- Theleekycauldron Is that a no? SL93 (talk) 20:33, 15 April 2022 (UTC)
- @SL93: i won't reject it outright, but I'm also not inclined to tick it—I'm not wild about it, but my interestingness bar tends to be a little high. theleekycauldron (talk • contribs) (she/they) 20:39, 15 April 2022 (UTC)
- I see. That's the only thing I can scrounge out of the article for a hook. Pinging nominator Pbrks SL93 (talk) 20:42, 15 April 2022 (UTC)

- ALT2: ... that NYXL was the first organization to own and operate multiple New York esports franchises? – Pbrks (t • c) 20:48, 15 April 2022 (UTC)
- Again, not my cup of tea, but I won't interfere if others decide to tick and promote. theleekycauldron (talk • contribs) (she/they) 09:40, 17 April 2022 (UTC)
- @SL93: are you willing to approve ALT2? Z1720 (talk) 00:35, 21 April 2022 (UTC)
- Approving ALT2. SL93 (talk) 21:28, 21 April 2022 (UTC)

NYXL → NYXL (company) – No clear distinction between this and New York Excelsior. I was even WP:SURPRISEd at first so a casual reader would certainly be confused. NYXL should probably be a disambig page. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 20:13, 6 April 2022 (UTC)
- Support views are probably not helpful since this article was recently created from the redirect but it has 497 views while New York Excelsior has 1,002[[1]]. All my Google results appear to be for New York Excelsior. Create a DAB at the base name. Crouch, Swale (talk) 09:26, 7 April 2022 (UTC)
- Support - It's an odd choice for the company to change their name to what was synonymous with one of their esports teams. I wasn't sure if a dab was necessary or if a hatnote would suffice at the time of creation, but a DAB page is probably best for NYXL. – Pbrks (t • c) 14:38, 7 April 2022 (UTC)
