Not on the Wii?

[edit]

Ok, this may end up being defined as "original research," but perhaps there should be a section over controversy that it isn't (at least at this time) being made for the Wii? That topic is one of the more popular ones on EA's message board about the game.

[edit]

I believe these should not be included, as it considered advertising in WP:EL. Can anyone else put their two cents in? Just because someone does roster updates doesn't mean they should be able to link them on the game's article. I do rosters for Major League Baseball 2K7. They are very popular and accurate in my opinion. But I wouldn't link them on the MLB 2K7 page because it's not my place. Whether they are free or not, it's still promoting and I don't think it should be there. Anyone could put out a roster update for a game, so are we going to link all of them?Chris Nelson 18:16, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • I agree with Chris. This is a source for official information, not advertising. kcnovA23 17:13, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • At the same time, a list of roster sites is very useful information. Jasont82 12:42, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
  • I also agree with Chris. The fact that people sell rosters is probably useful information, but I don't think it's necessary to link to any specific roster sites. Cogswobbletalk 22:13, 2 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Can anyone confirm the Campus Legend feature?

[edit]

Has anybody played this game yet and can confirm that Campus Legend mode starts at high school? I just played it on PS2 and it started pretty much the same as NCAA 07. Maybe the Campus Legend high school feature is only available on the 360. --JYi 20:09, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • I can confirm that on the 360 you do start in high school. Jasont82 12:43, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
I can also confirm, i have the game, google it around or maybe check out IGN to confirm if it's on your system. -- GoDawgs 13:31, 18 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Its the same on original xbox as it is on PS2, not high school beginning.

== What about the Super-sim feature?

If I'm not mistaken, the game has an in-game sim mode that is new this year.

School

[edit]

Can you still make your own school, because I can't find it. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 74.60.40.113 (talk) 03:50, August 21, 2007 (UTC)

Create a school was not added to seventh generation versions of the game (360, PS3) only sixth generation (Xbox, PS2) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 147.136.199.120 (talk) 22:43, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Always Day-Time?

[edit]

Why is it that every college game in Campus Legend is played in the day time? Even games that are played at 8 PM are in the day. 69.134.196.7 00:47, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I never thought to notice this, but now that you mention it, that does suck. -JT 17:53, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you have XBOX Live for example, if you do the Weather Channel live feed, it uses real time, and real weather for the zip code you provided when signing up for xbox live. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.182.84.23 (talk) 10:00, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

True, but Weather Channel Live Feed is not available for Campus Legend games -JT 17:53, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The clear visor change is only on sixth generation video consoles (PS2, Xbox). Oddly enough on seventh generation consoles, the only available visor type is dark.
