Why This Page Should Not Be Deleted
[edit]Could someone please specify the problems so that they can be fixed? ~Richmond96 t • c 01:50, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
- I've outlined them all. As you can see, the page has been IMMENSELY tagged. I didn't even tag it for the blatant copy and paste that the majority of it is. Technically, this page violates both G11 AND G12, but I can only nominate for one at a time. In all honesty, it needs one of these tags. At least 99% of this article came out of the various press releases from 2K Sports, and I don't mean summarized, I mean blantantly copied and pasted. ⒺⓋⒾⓁⒼⓄⒽⒶⓃ② talk 01:59, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
- I think that they have now all been corrected. ~Richmond96 t • c
- Although it has been significantly improved and it has been removed of the weasel words that were prominent in it, it's still written as an advertisement and maintains the majority of its copy and paste roots. As of such, I have re-added the tags, with the exception of the one for weasel words. Honestly, I think an entire rewrite is necessary. For an example of why it looks like an advertisement, see the article for NBA Live 09, but it is no where near as bad as NBA Live 10. So though this article is no longer in need of a deletion, a significant undertaking is necessary for it and the majority of the sports related titles on Wikipedia. For an example of a decent sports related article (albeit, with corrections necessary), check out Madden NFL 2007 and Madden NFL 08. ⒺⓋⒾⓁⒼⓄⒽⒶⓃ② talk 15:46, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
