it simply included the previous apron as part of the racing surface when repaved in the hope it would create two wide racing. The banking where they race at a lane up from the bottom is the original racing surface and amount of banking.
And the race names featuring sponsorship weren't included since it would involve licensing the sponosor's name, but the tracks with traditional names such as the Talladega 500 or the Daytona 500 still feature those names when its correct.
