Manoor or Mansour?

The "2015" sub-section currently reads:

On 11 November 2015, fighting had broke out between different Taliban factions in the Zabul Province]] of Afghanistan. Fighters loyal to the new Taliban leader Akhtar Mansour began to fight a pro-ISIL faction led by Mullah Mansoor Dadullah. Dadullah's faction received support from IS during the clashes, and IS fighters also joined in on the fighting alongside Dadullah including foreign fighters from Chechnya and Uzbekistan. Dadullah and IS were eventually defeated by Mansoor's forces. According to Ghulam Jilani Farahi, provincial director of security in Zabul, more than 100 militants from both sides were killed during the fighting.

Shouldn't "Dadullah and IS were eventually defeated by Mansoor's forces" actually read "Dadullah and IS were eventually defeated by Mansour's forces" (note the difference in spelling).

Talking is not supporting

The editor now added citations but all articles just states that they are having talks with Taliban, there are 0 references of material support in those articles.

Can we mark their territory on a map?

Up until the template for Taliban Insurgency was changed in July, we had ISIS-K territory marked on the map in the small area they controlled. Can we get a map here marking their steak

Islamic State–Taliban conflict → Islamic State insurgency in Afghanistan – This article should be renamed Islamic State insurgency in Aghanistan, as IS was against both the Taliban and the IR of Afghanistan before the fall of Kabul. The new name would better describe the true nature of IS activities in Afghanistan, which is not just a conflict with the Taliban, but against every regime that gets in its way, in order to create an IS province in Afghanistan. Strong Oppose. Islamic State's insurgency in Afghanistan is a whole different topic. This article is literally about the conflict between Islamic State and Taliban. Islamic State's insurgency can have a different article as both are clearly different topics.

Support I'd support this move for the reason that IS do not solely target the Taliban but also seem to go after ex-Afghan security personnel etc. They also seem to be more content with targeting Shia and Hazara religious areas/monuments as opposed to military confrontations with IEA security forces.ThePaganUK (talk) 10:40, 7 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Armed conflict, "insurgency", "campaign"?

The article currently begins as saying this is an armed conflict but I am not sure if this remains the best description. Is this supposed to be an insurgency or maybe just a campaign? The two groups fought each other for territory from 2015-2019 when it was right to call it an armed conflict but since 2021 with the Taliban being the government it may need a different naming, especially considering the Taliban are in 100% territorial control and IS-KP is now a terrorist/insurgent cell that carries out attacks.
