Lead section and Liquipedia

[edit]

Lead section has been updated, does that look better? And how should the comprehensiveness of information here compare to Liquipedia? Since Liquipedia exists, is there any argument to not include as much detail on here, or this should be as comprehensive and standalone as possible? Bshk93 (talk) 17:49, 21 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I also think the lead section works well enough now. Therefore, I will delete templete . :) Jhkang1517 (talk) 04:09, 11 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

How can we know that he actually made a 22 wins Terran streak... On the TLPD site it says 15 wins streak... The only reference you put is in Japanese ( and that could be a blog )... We need more, another reference. 70.51.12.90

Could you be so kind, 70.51.12.90, as to link us where exactly on wikipedia's policies does it says that if a reference is in Korean, it no longer count? Not that I think a Second English wouldn't be beneficial. I just can't figure on what basis you discard the one we already have. Thank you.Kamizushi (talk) 05:24, 30 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The TLPD site explicitly says NOT to use it for records and streaks because they count different games as "official" compared to the governing body - KeSPA. KeSPA recognizes the 22 win streak but TLPD includes casual tournament and unsanctioned events. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.147.170.52 (talk) 19:25, 6 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Flash (video gamer)Lee Young-ho – He is well known as real name now. Kanghuitari (talk) 04:48, 15 January 2016 (UTC) Relisted. Jenks24 (talk) 06:32, 24 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support more encyclopaedic. In ictu oculi (talk) 15:14, 15 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Blanket oppose all these noms. Do you actually have any evidence that he is better known by this? This is the rationale you've used on a bunch of Korean eSports players... this is something that CAN be true, on a case-by-case basis, but I'm not seeing any evidence of the research required to do this. I've only ever known him as "Flash"; I could be wrong, but I want assurance that you know something I don't. I will retract this oppose if you can prove he really is better known by his real name in his area of relevance (where he certainly was only known as "Flash" for a long time). • Oppose it seems like most English language reliable sources covering the subject refer to him as "Flash".--Prisencolin (talk) 20:30, 20 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Flash's race

[edit]

I changed flash's race from Terran to Random. Although I added a note saying (Formerly Terran). Not sure if we should keep this in there or not. — Preceding unsigned comment added by OnionScythe (talkcontribs) 03:06, 10 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Crypto scandal update (Possibly needed inclusion)

[edit]

In this english translation of his recent apology (at 2:26 and onward) and announcement to return he explains that the crypto scammer not only did flash not make any money promoting the crypto, he also did not lie about his own investment and was eventually scammed out of a total of ₩1 000 000 000. I feel this should be added to the page. Gröngroda (talk) 19:14, 4 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
