Jean Chretian?
[edit]I'm pretty sure this studio wasn't opened by Jean Chretien
he did actaully.. its on a plaque in the lobby
- Yes, was opened by him (check out the EA Canada site). --Thorpe | talk 19:45, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
- Maybe it just means that he was just there at the official openning. Something like taking those big scissors and cutting the ribbon. I couldn't find any sources that say Chrétien started the studio.--24.66.94.140 03:09, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
- Opened MEANS the ribbon cutting ceremony. I'm not sure how else to clarify that. any way, onto more important matters: I just started today and the powerpoint presentation at orientation stated we have 1600+ employees now, but I'm not sure how to source that. They also added a second 93 million dollar facility very recently, phase 2 of the design plan (2 of 3). Anyone up for some research into sources? I know it's fact, but I can't prove it to wikistandards Zeekthegeek 04:05, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
Um, is EA Black Box really classed as part of EA Canada now? The likes of IGN has it as a totally seperate developer..?
There was an Electronic Arts Building right next to the freeway on Wilingdon ave Long before they built the new compound. How come there is no mention of that in this article? Is it in a different article? 70.68.35.74 03:57, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
EA Black Box games
[edit]I noticed that a lot of the games listed weren't developed by EA canada, but by EA Black Box. While it is true that Black Box were absorbed into EA Canada in 2008, surely games developed by Black Box prior to this consolidation shouldn't be listed? 92.41.45.219 (talk) 13:08, 12 December 2010 (UTC)
EA Sims games
[edit]This page contains a major inaccuracy -- none of the Sims games were developed at EA Canada, or under the EA Games label as claimed. This is obvious if you click through to the corresponding pages! Sims 3 and its expansions were developed by the Sims Studio (now Maxis again) for the EA Play label, mostly at EA Redwood Shores, which is a long way from Canada.
I've fixed this plus another inaccuracy. Please see http://www.ea.com/labels, http://www.ea.com/the-sims-3, http://www.ea.com/sims3-monte-vista (recent expansion) for reference.

Fight Night Champion
[edit]You guys want some real money? Do for Fight Night Champion what was done by Capcom for Resident Evil or what was done with Dead Space. Redo from ground up, new animations, sounds, upgrade graphics, and Undisputed becomes obsolete 162.40.200.56 (talk) 21:07, 29 August 2023 (UTC)
