E3 2020 cancelled?
[edit]There have been many unconfirmed reports coming in over the past hour about E3 2020 reportedly being cancelled. I believe it's standard for the site to wait until the ESA officially says something on the matter, am I correct? ShadowCyclone talk 02:59, 11 March 2020 (UTC)
- Until ESA announces it, we're not going to state anything about rumors. Official statements from devs/pubs that they will not attend, we can, but we won't include cancellation until that comes as an ESA announcement. --Masem (t) 03:09, 11 March 2020 (UTC)
Recommendation for Article - Rename to "E3 2021"
[edit]I would like to propose a suggestion that the article be renamed to E3 2021, if there is no likelihood that the event will not happen later in the year - being cancelled doesn't mean it might not happen in 2020. If this recommendation is agreed, we can use what is posted in this article at present to point out what had been set up for 2020, before the cancellation due to coronavirus. - No, as for a few reasons: First that before cancellation, there were a number of changes planned in the event of note (making it more an influencer event) and led to things like Keighley dropping out and the like; that all remains notable to the 2020 event. Second, and this will take a few weeks to know for certain, but we're getting the major publishers announcing rescheduled digital streams, as well as the ESA's own potential virtual plans for the event. As such, "E3 2020" and "E3 2021" are wholly separate topics. While ESA has said E3 2021 will happen, it is far too soon to create that page as we have no idea when or where it will take place. --Masem (t) 16:56, 11 March 2020 (UTC)
- Hmm... If this does become a virtual event for 2020, then the current tense in the Lead might need to be changed, and the information modified. GUtt01 (talk) 18:02, 11 March 2020 (UTC)
- Right, its too early to know how to rework right now. It doesn't make sense to right for either if there is a virtual event or not. --Masem (t) 18:04, 11 March 2020 (UTC)

Guerrilla/PC Gaming/Future Games
[edit]Just dropping a note I plan to work the lists of games shown in these tomorrow. There's been enough crossover that I'm just going to try them as one large list. --Masem (t) 21:51, 13 June 2020 (UTC)
- Could we still include the template as listed with past E3 presentations, like the template box used in past articles listing games with their publishers, or is that being scrapped altogether? Like in this list. I feel like just listing them like the current version, is a little cluttered. Zacharyalejandro (talk) 21:48, 15 June 2020 (UTC)Zacharyalejandro
