The second paragraph and the third paragraph are conflicting. The first sentence of the third paragraph starts with the claim that the previous one is "Wrong". Can anyone knowledgeable in the area edit this?

I agree. Articles should not be self-argumentative. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 206.248.174.196 (talk) 23:00:13, August 19, 2007 (UTC)

OS support?

[edit]

In the text it is said it is for "GNU/Linux/Unix" platforms, and the infobox says "Linux and MacOSX". However, on the website I cannot find any reference to other OS-es (the site is quite confusing though), and it mentions only Linux and Linux framebuffer. Therefore, if someone doesn't know better, it seems to me that every other OS reference should be removed from the article (actually I think GNU can be removed anyway because DFB doesn't really has anything to do with its software layer). Abandoned project

[edit]

In 2021 there has not been a new release since +6 years. It should be mentioned in the main article that the project is no longer active, IMO. 2A02:8388:1604:F600:3AD5:47FF:FE18:CC7F (talk) 22:15, 31 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
