PSP release?
[edit]Hello wikipedians editers, So when is the release of DMC1 for PSP? Rickengothic 3:08, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
- Yo! Unfortunately, it seems like Capcom ditched it somewhere. — EliasAlucard (Discussion · contribs) 19:08, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

Allusion
[edit]Should it be noted that the entire series is an allusion to Dante's Divine Comedy? Dante, Vergil, Beatrice... Too many similarities to be a coincidence, but I'm not sure if that'd be considered original research. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fllmtlchcb (talk • contribs) 07:36, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
- We had all that in there, but it constitutes original research, so now it's gone. --Boradis (talk) 14:22, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
Devil May Cry sales
[edit]Yes, I would like to know why the sales sold is supposedly at 4M when Capcom themselves have it listed at the 2M mark.
http://ir.capcom.co.jp/english/data/million.html --CrystalCypher (talk) 11:03, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
- That number was refering to the series as a whole wich was over 4 millions on 2007 (by now 9 millions), I have changed it to reflect this. - Caribbean~H.Q. 07:20, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

I have an old Electronig Gaming Monthly that says in its DMC preveiw that it was originaly supposed to be RE4 but was changed for several reasons, if i had a scanner id post it as proof. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.65.120.222 (talk) 23:24, 8 June 2010 (UTC)
Voice Acting
[edit]This article says nothing of the voice actors, which is common information for a game article or character page. --Kraftlos (talk) 18:48, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
intro/reception unclarity
[edit]The into says it's sold 4 million copies, while reception says it's sold 2 million. Not sure which is right, but figured I'd throw it out there so someone who knows can fix it. --81.98.177.16 (talk) 11:53, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

Movie
[edit]All the people who keep posting about the DMC movie because of IMDB and Youtube, IMDB is VERY unreliable, several movies that never were made are STILL listed as coming soon for dates that have passed already. Please locate a REAL source, preferavly Capcom themselves, before posting. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.65.120.222 (talk) 23:31, 8 June 2010 (UTC)
2010 film mention in the article
[edit]"According to the Internet Movie Database, the film may be released some time during 2010"
Maybe someone could correct it (since 2010 is long gone and there was no movie). I don't have a very good english so I won't risk it.PierriBatista (talk) 00:22, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
- I simply deleted it. It's obviously wrong information and deleting doesn't affect the flow of the paragraph. Brightgalrs (/braɪtˈɡæl.ərˌɛs/)[1] 00:48, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
Ninja Theory productions
[edit]i think there should be some off-mention of Ninja Theory, having some role in the development of the game. they have also produced such games as Ninja Gaiden 2. http://www.ninjatheory.com/ 2605:6000:6FC0:21:103D:23A5:AD11:81BC (talk) 07:03, 1 July 2012 (UTC)
More pictures?
[edit]Very good articel, but maybe a few more screen shots would add to the articel; maybe a comparison to the original and hd versions, or the different packaging available? 86.154.34.159 (talk) 21:40, 10 August 2014 (UTC)

Duran Duran connection?
[edit]There doesn't seem to be any sort of source or citation other than an indirect link to a blogspot with only ONE post. Is there something a bit more credible than that? It seems silly to have something as big as Dante's design being attributed to such a source, no matter how lengthy the one single blogpost is.
Just my opinion, of course, but I don't want to just delete a citation and entry in the page if it's true, or has a more substantial source, or proof that the person who runs the blog has some connection that makes his "durandurandevilmaycry" blog credible. Thanks in advance! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:252:D2E:C260:CDCC:ECD1:564A:AB0F (talk) 17:53, 24 November 2017 (UTC)
