Contested deletion
[edit]This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because the Classic Tetris World Championship is an event that has been going on for 5 years now. Tetris is the 3rd most popular and life changing video game of all time (ref: http://top100.ign.com/2005/001-010.html). There is no information on this event on Wiki but it is referenced on other wiki pages, such as "Ecstasy_of_Order:_The_Tetris_Masters". I will continue to polish this article and add photographs as time progresses. Thank You.
- I have removed the speedy tag. Whoever put it on didn't search for sources. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 11:56, 1 July 2015 (UTC)
Lori Baker 2007's 841 lines record on Tetris DX could be of some interest ? https://archive.boston.com/news/globe/magazine/articles/2007/08/19/bizarro_world/ Yug (talk) 🐲 14:15, 19 March 2022 (UTC)
"In Media" Section?
[edit]The Classic Tetris World Championship has been the subject of at least two feature documentaries. The first was "Ecstasy of Order: The Tetris Masters" and then its sequel, "Best of Five: The Classic Tetris Champions" (Best of Five has no Wikipedia page at present). Should we have an "In Media" section on this page? Fijiatoll (talk) 22:10, 8 August 2024 (UTC)
