[edit]Why exactly was the analog removed from the L/R buttons? Was the controller originally meant to be able to work with Gamecube games? Did no game end up using the analog buttons and Nintendo cut the feature because it wasn't needed? 74.69.251.170 (talk) 08:17, 6 July 2010 (UTC)

SNES Mini does not feature Classic Controllers compatible with Wii
[edit]The article sais: "Later in June 2017, Nintendo announced the miniature Super NES Classic Edition, packaged with two controllers based on the original SNES controllers depending on the region.[9]"
This reference [9] does not say the new SNES controllers have the same port like the NES classic. If you see a photo of the SNES Mini it is easy to see that the ports are different and they can't work with Wiimotes. So I bevieve this sentence can be removed from the article. The SNES controller for Wii exists from Club Nintendo, but it is not the same pad than the SNES mini. 37.134.62.64 (talk) 17:02, 7 July 2017 (UTC)

Classic Controller → Wii Classic Controller – The term "classic controller" can refer to many things that's not the Wii controller. Most news coverage do not refer "classic controller" as the Wii Classic Controller such as Comicbook.com (Xbox 360 Fans Surprised With New Release of Classic Controller), The Verge "...built-in rumble support help modernize this classic controller" Thoughts? - Weak oppose. "Classic Controller" does seem a bit vague; however, neither Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, PlayStation controller, or Xbox controller make any mention of "classic", so the term appears unambiguous. 162 etc. (talk) 16:18, 29 August 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose. When I google this it overwhelmingly returns the Wii one, and per 162, not seeing that it's widely used elsewhere. Seems like a case of WP:AINTBROKE. — Amakuru (talk) 14:42, 6 September 2023 (UTC)
