Wikipedia is not a strategy guide or instruction manual. Wikipedia articles should focus on the games themselves, not on how to play them; they should not contain tips, tricks, or cheat codes. That information is available elsewhere (such as on our sister project, Wikibooks), in printed guides and online, and does not belong in an encyclopedia entry. Please do not add your own hints or opinions of the game. Verifiable content about the history, design, and overall description of the game is welcome. If you have questions about whether specific information should be added, ask here first. |

Hello, i am ImNotTuna, and while reading the Clash Royale Wikipedia, i noticed that whenever it was talking about how much elixir you get in different gamemodes in the "Cards" section, it seemed to have put the triple elixir amount in between what happens in overtime Direct quote from the wikipedia "the final 60 seconds of the game and the first minute of overtime, and roughly every 0.9 seconds during Triple Elixir Mode and the last minute of overtime)" If this does not apply, then i please ask for my apologies as im am very new, and would just like to state this.ImNotTuna (talk) 19:01, 26 April 2022 (UTC) ImNotTuna (talk) 19:01, 26 April 2022 (UTC)
Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. PianoDan (talk) 21:54, 26 April 2022 (UTC)
sort cards into categories
[edit]There are five rarities of cards: common, rare, epic, legendary and champion. First legendary card you can get is Miner an you can get it at arena four- P.E.K.K.A.'s playhouse. First champion card you can get at king's level 14. Peroslawik (talk) 11:17, 21 July 2022 (UTC)

Many cards, such as Mega Knight and Electro Giant, are very commonly hated by the community of Clash Royale, and frequently called things such as "no skill" or ["toxic".] Players who use these cards are also commonly called "no skill" or "toxic". Some of these players use the emote system to annoy players, using emotes such as the laughing king emote, which makes a "hehehehaw" noise (This noise has been used as a meme), or the yawning princess, which does as the name implies.
^^^ This requested block of text should go under "cards". EpicMagicBoi6 (talk) 02:17, 28 July 2022 (UTC)

I feel like changing "except Mirror and Elixir Collector." to "except for the cards Mirror and Elixir Collector." i think that would make a little more sense. Dertulepuck (talk) 06:43, 27 January 2023 (UTC)
- Adding "cards" again would be redundant for the sentence, but I reworded it to hopefully provide more clarity. Thank you for your suggestion. TNstingray (talk) 17:54, 27 January 2023 (UTC)

"pay-to-win"
[edit]Our games offer the ability to slightly boost in-game progress by buying occasional offers in the Shop menu. However, our games are still heavily skill-reliant and we believe that stating them to be "pay-to-win" is heavily misleading. We urge Wikipedians to review this part of the article and come up with a way of describing the game that reflects reality more accurately. SupercellOfficial (talk) 17:49, 27 July 2023 (UTC)
- Disagree. While the game for a long time indeed used to be pay-to-progress, which is considered a lighter form of pay-to-win, this has changed in recent years. New features giving significant advantages to players in the form of evolutions are released monthly, which are only immediately obtainable for paying players. By the time these are reasonably obtainable (months later) for F2P players their advantage generally has been reduced significantly through balance changes. The last 6 evolutions released have all followed this pattern. This means that for the foreseeable future all paying players retain a significant advantage, a hallmark of pay-to-win games. 195.240.89.28 (talk) 14:32, 6 August 2023 (UTC)

Update platform compatability
[edit]A few months ago Clash Royale was globally launched on Google play games for PC. That means that the "release"-section as well as the main chart should be updated. https://supercell.com/en/games/clashroyale/blog/news/play-clash-royale-pc/ BigSchnuk (talk) 22:36, 10 February 2024 (UTC)
