Question

Story Line

Gold Events (in order) There is a total of 28 gold events in Cars Race-O-Rama.

• Sprint 1: The first Race. Lightning McQueen, his academy, and the rival academy are in it. During the race, The rival academy crashed 2 of Lightning McQueen's academy students. Then he figures out that the rival academy was the academy of Chick Hicks! Chick says that if he wins the Race-O-Rama series, Lightning will have to leave town. If you finish this race, you will unlock Radiator Springs Speedway. You don't have to win to unlock it.
• Mack Track Challenge: Lightning McQueen practices drifting around Mack Track Challenge. On the last lap, he jumps Mack's ramp, and performs a stunt. The drift takes place of the powerslide.
• Academy Challenge 1: Another race with Lightning McQueen, his academy, and Chick's academy.
• Hudson Student Run: Lightning McQueen makes it to the Championship races. He's going against top students from the rival academy. Doc Hudson is in this race too. If you win this, you unlock Radiator Springs. Go there after you win.
• Smash-Up 1: Mater was chasing his hook (like a dog chases his tail), when his worst enemy, Bubba appeared. And so did his friends: Tater and Tater Jr.. Bubba told Mater that a long time ago, they agreed to race in the Rustbucket Stadium for the Towing Rights to Radiator Springs.
• Mater the Greater: Mater jumps over Carburetor Canyon like in the Cars Toon: Mater the Greater.
• Road Race 1: A race in Tailfin Pass. If you win, you unlock Santa Carburera. Go there after this race.
• Road Race 2: The first race in Santa Carburera. Lightning McQueen gets some Modifications. His top speed is 199mph.
• Academy Challenge 2: The second race with Lightning McQueen, his academy, and Chick's academy.
• Candice's Glam Tour: Chick introduces Candice to McQueen and Flo. She got a lot of attention from some fans. Then she says that Lightning will have a problem beating her on her home track. When she lost, she asked her Daddy for new tires, new paint, new everything, and she wanted it NOW!!! After this race, go back to Radiator Springs.
• Monster Truck Mayhem 2: A monster Truck Race at the Rustbucket Stadium.
• Smash-Up 2: The second Rustbucket Race. In the Cut-scene, Bubba scares Mater. Mater says that the only thing he's scared of is the Ghostlight. Then he realizes that "Tater" rhymes with "Mater." Tater says that "Mater" also rhymes with "Tater." Then all the "_aters" went to find more stuff that rhymes with there names. This race was actually "Smash-Up 1" in the other direction.
• Off-Road Race 1: A race in Ornament Valley. If you win, you unlock Autovia. Go there after this race.
• Off-Road Race 2: The first race in Autovia: which is a little village in the middle of the desert. Lightning McQueen gets some bigger tires to drive off-road. Before the race, Chick's racing academy went into a factory, and stripped there paint, turning them into VINs.
• Academy Challenge 3: The third Academy Challenge. Lightning McQueen and the academies are in it. Some VINs are in it too.
• Match-Up: Chick introduces El Machismo to Lightning McQueen and Sarge. El Machismo is pretty wild. He said he's bigger than big, badder than bad. When he lost the race, he asked Chick for: "Bigger tires, bigger shocks, bigger fenders, BIGGER EVERYTHING TO CRUSH YA'LL!!!" He's a more of a sore loser than Chick! After you win this, go back to Radiator Springs.
• Monster Truck Mayhem 3: Another Monster Truck Race. In the cut-scene, the Taters told Mater that they will get all the towing rights to Radiator Springs. Mater said that they will love it. He started listing all the folk, when then he remembers that he's a tow truck. Now he has a dilemma.
• Tokyo Mater: Mater races in Tokyo with his competitor, like he did in the Cars Toon.
• Road Race 3: Race through Radiator Springs. If you win, you unlock Motoropolis City. Go there after this race.
• Street Race 1: The first race in Motoropolis city. The paint-job for this modified McQueen is a darker shade of red than the regular one. His top speed is 190 mph.
• Academy Challenge 4: The last race with Lightning McQueen, his academy, and Chick's academy. Like in the 3rd one, there are also some VINs.
• Stinger's Stir-Up: Chick Hicks introduces Stinger to McQueen (Ramone was with him). When McQueen asked Stinger how was it going, Stinger just vroomed his engine. When he lost the race, Chick asks him what he has to say for himself. But Stinger just vroomed his engine, and zoomed away (That's what he had to say for himself). Then you go back to Radiator Springs.
• El Materdor: Mater fights some bulldozers, like he did in the Cars Toon.
• Bubba's Bucket Bash: Mater, Bubba, and the Taters had a race in the Rustbucket Stadium. The winner will get the towing rights to Radiator Springs. When Mater won, he said he had fun. The Taters had fun too, even though they lost. But Bubba didn't have fun at all, then he called The Taters morons. Then the Taters said that they made a new friend, and he won, and there names, rhyme. But Bubba was still angry, so he drove away saying he will be back. Then you go to Radiator Springs Speedway for the last three races.
• Sprint 2: Lightning McQueen races with all the VINs. All of his competitors are VINs.
• Reunion Rundown: Lightning McQueen races against Stinger, Candice, El Machismo, and the rest of the racers are VINs.
• Chick Hicks Showdown: The final race. It's Ultimate Lightning McQueen vs. Ultimate Chick Hicks! Before the race, Chick tells Lightning that he was just using Stinger, Candice, El Machismo and the VINs to learn how to beat him. After the race, Lightning McQueen wins the Race-O-Rama trophy. Chick said that he will be back. Then Stinger, Candice, and El Machismo came to McQueen, and apologized for how they behaved on the track. Lightning McQueen invited them to come by the Doc Hudson racing Academy any time. It is considered to be a happy ending by many fans.

• Point to Point 1: - Race against Fillmore, Sarge, Sheriff, Mater, Doc, Ramone and Flo in Tailfin Pass and Radiator Springs
• Point to Point 2: - Race against Candice, Doc, Sarge, Flo, Doc's Student 1, Ramone and Fillmore in Santa Carburera.
• Point to Point 3: - Race against Doc, Chick's Student 1, Chick's Student 2, Chick's Student 3, Doc's Student 1, Sheriff and Sarge in Ornament Valley and Radiator Springs.
• Point to Point 4: - Race against Doc, Sheriff, Mater, Fillmore, Flo, Ramone and Sarge in Radiator Springs and Tailfin Pass
• Point to Point 5: - Race against 3 VINs, El Machismo, Doc's Student 1, Mater and Sarge in Autovia.

PlayStation2

• Point to Point 1: - It's in Santa Carburera. Your opponents are Candice, Fillmore, and Doc Hudson.
• Point to Point 2: - It's in Autovia. Your opponents are El Machismo, Sarge, and a VIN.

Relay Races

• Relay Race 1: - In Santa Carberera
• Relay Race 2: - In Motoropolis City

Guido Kart Race as small cars. The boost meter doesn't refill. All of the Races are 5 laps. You can collect power-ups along the track. There are 4 different power-ups. Ghost - drive through things, like a ghost, Smoke Screen - Smoke will come out of your hind, Turbo Charge - Get a full boost meter, and Speed Boost - Get a full boost meter - and then use the whole thing. Kind of like Mario Kart.

• Guido Kart Race 1: - At Radiator Springs Speedway.
• Guido Kart Race 2: - At the Rustbucket Stadium, and it's the only Guido Kart Race that's has 3 laps.
• Guido Kart Race 3: - At Santa Carburera, 5 laps.
• Guido Kart Race 4: - In Autovia, at the old village.
• Guido Kart Race 5: - In Radiator Springs, at Main Street. This is the only Guido Kart Race that is a Gold Event.
• Guido Kart Race 6: - At Ornament Valley, in front of the Rustbucket Stadium.
• Guido Kart Race 7: - In Motoropolis City.
• Guido Kart Race 8: - At Tailfin Pass, in the mine tunnels.
• Guido Kart Race 9: - Radiator Springs Speedway, just like the first one.

Mini Games Auto Crosses

• Auto Cross 1: An Auto Cross in Radiator Springs Speedway. You have to drive through a course, and not hit obstacles. You can't jump over them. You won't jump if you try to jump.
• Auto Cross 2: Radiator Springs
• Auto Cross 3: Santa Carburera
• Auto Cross 4: Ornament Valley
• Auto Cross 5: Autovia
• Auto Cross 6: Tailfin Pass
• Auto Cross 7: Motoropolis

Others

• Luigi's Tire Find: - Play as Luigi or Guido, and try to get all 15 tires around Radiator Springs in 1:30.00. KInd of like Luigi to the rescue in the first game. Plus, it's the only time when Guido's boost meter refills.
• Sheriff's Chase: - Play as Sheriff, and try to catch all 3 speeders speeding around Radiator Springs. The speeders are Chick's Acadamy students. There's no time limit. Kind of like Sheriff's Hot Pursuit from the first game.
• Tractor Stampede: - Play as Lightning McQueen or Mater. Try to tip all 10 tractors in Radiator Springs before the timer shows 0. Kind of like Tractor Tipping from the last two games.

Missions Photo Ops

• Photo Op 1: - Radiator Springs Speedway. You have to get to a ring, and jump through it before the timer gets to zero. Then take control of the camera, and take a picture.
• Photo Op 2: - Radiator Springs, behind Lizzie's Shop.
• Photo Op 3: - Santa Carburera, at the dock.
• Photo Op 4: - Radiator Springs, near Willy's Butte.
• Photo Op 5: - Autovia, over some old train tracks.
• Photo Op 6: - Ornament Valley, all the way north.
• Photo Op 7: - Motoropolis, from a building.
• Photo Op 8: - Tailfin Pass, over a circle-shaped rock.

Transporters

• Transporter 1: - You start at Willy's Butte, and you have to bring a spoiler to Doc at Ramone's shop.
• Transporter 2: - You start on that ledge in Tailfin Pass, and you have to bring a flier to Flo at the Wheel Well Motel.
• Transporter 3: - You start in the northern road of Ornament Valley, and you have to bring a tire to Luigi at the Gas Station at the other side of the broken train tracks.

Rustbucket Races

• Smash-Up 3: - This is the only Rustbucket Race that's not a gold event. Same as the ones in the previous games. It's also the shortest Rustbucket Race. It's 3 laps.

Monster Truck Races All are 3 laps.

• Monster Truck Mayhem 1: - Rustbucket Stadium
• Monster Truck Mayhem 4: - Autovia

Does anyone know if this sequel is going to be available for the PC? My son is going bonkers for it. Thanks Saalanc (talk) 21:05, 16 December 2009 (UTC)

Score Tokens
