Split the Article
[edit]The different "versions" of this game should be split into different articles because they are entirely different games with the same name. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.192.36.120 (talk) 19:37, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
- Eight years late but I'd be willing to split them when I get some free time, but they may be stubs.....Spilia4 (talk) 02:36, 23 March 2016 (UTC)
- I came here to express similar sentiments. The Lynx version is already split out. There's no reason to lump the others together as well. oknazevad (talk) 15:55, 19 September 2021 (UTC)
- I also agree to separate the SNES, Genesis/Sega CD, Master System/Game Gear, Amiga, NES and DOS versions into their own articles... Roberth Martinez (talk) 22:14, 20 September 2021 (UTC)
- In support of this motion, I propose the titles Batman Returns (SNES video game), Batman Returns (16-bit Sega video game), Batman Returns (8-bit Sega video game), Batman Returns (Amiga video game), Batman Returns (NES video game), and Batman Returns (DOS video game). - Um, wow. But also strong support as they are clearly different games. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 08:53, 1 June 2022 (UTC)

- Support. If they are different games they are different subjects. Neocorelight (Talk) 23:02, 4 June 2022 (UTC)
- Support, looks like there was a confusion during the creation of the article. Merko (talk) 00:20, 6 June 2022 (UTC)
- Support - they are different games. That's all i have to say outside of my comment above. Roberth Martinez (talk) 16:04, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
- Support – The NES and SNES games already have their own articles, as does the Atari Lynx version. We can move this article to something with "Sega" in the title, but it could then be split further into the Sega 8-bit and 16-bit versions. The Master System and Game Gear versions are basically the same game, as was fairly common among those platforms with their near-identical specs. Meanwhile the Sega CD version is just an expanded version of the Genesis version that adds a couple of driving levels, and can be covered in the same article. The PC and Amiga versions should be split out as well as they're not the same game. The idea that all these very different games should be pulled together in one article because they're all based on the same licensed property betrays a frankly terrible lack of understanding of video games as creative works and dumb. oknazevad (talk) 14:21, 1 November 2024 (UTC)
