Notability
[edit]For various reasons the notability discussion for this article is occurring on my talk page. While it should likely move here, that's where it is for now. Gavin, if you wish to move the discussion-to-date here, I think that would be more than reasonable, but I'll leave that up to you. Thanks! Hobit (talk) 20:12, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
- I think this should be sorted out now. I integrated the three reviews that you had found into proper references in the article (thanks for that by the way!). A Google search on "baldur's gate ii throne award" instantly turned up two further independent awards aside from one that IGN.com had also given them (which was in one of the review links you provided). Ciao --Craw-daddy | T | 00:03, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
- P.S. Of course the "plot summary" and "characters" parts still need work. :) --Craw-daddy | T | 00:10, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
Merging companion novel
[edit]The novel alone is not notable, but rather in relation to the game I believe it should be mentioned, any objections to a merge?Sadads (talk) 01:49, 21 August 2010 (UTC)

ALL WRONG
[edit]> Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal is the expansion pack for the role-playing video game Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn
ok
> It adds a multi-level dungeon called Watcher's Keep to the game[3] and completes the main plot
NOT True. It ads a smaller new game that is played AFTER shadow of amn, but watcher's keep is added as a bonus area accessible in both games. A hand full of new areas are accessible only by starting TOB itself, and there are other changes. Check the bgii walkthrough on gamefaq dot com.
an "encyclopedic" account of a product should not be an untrue account which belittles the product. i'm getting sick of Wikipedia "moderators" who only interfere with posts if someone is TELLING THE TRUTH about something political (and can prove it)
> and is the final chapter in the Baldur's Gate series.[1][2][3]
True by name only, Heart of Winter exists as well (more a prequel). Then also: Pillars of Eternity (a series of games) was made by previous Baldur's gate employee(s) from the Baldur's gate engine directly. Also, many other games copied the general framework (which is generally from previous D&D games, unique in it's style, and many copied that style). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:143:400:547B:A814:ADA9:CB19:88 (talk) 09:14, 21 April 2019 (UTC)
