Speedy deletion
[edit]The page exists for 3 years in a horrible useless form and nobody complains. Somebody actually puts some effort into making it reasonably useful and now it's up for deletion within a few days? I don't care if harm was meant or not. That's a dick move. SJ Zero (talk) 14:26, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
- My apologies, I only checked the history to see if it had previously been proposed for deletion. I hadn't considered your edits. But please be aware this is not a "speedy deletion" or an AfD. Please take the time to read the template. You are free to remove the prod template, but of course if you do so you should give consideration to the issues I highlighted. - I would have removed the tag if I felt it was totally inappropriate. No matter how much I enjoy Astro-Battle, the notability issue is relevant(in fact, it's stated right in the article). Unless I find sources that talk about the game that aren't just listings, I'll have to let it expire. SJ Zero (talk) 17:02, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
- Checking the references list at the bottom, this game seems to have a few reliable third party sources, so why doesn't it pass WP:N? INBN (talk) 08:45, 26 August 2009 (UTC)
- Software.informer, IGN, Tech Republic, PC World and Game Ogre sites all show directory entries, submitted by users. The PC World and Game Ogre reviews are user submitted. Therefore none of these qualify for verifiability or notability. The PC World article "Review: 15 Great Free Game Sites" does qualify for verifiability, as it's staff-written. However, notability requires significant coverage, and this short paragraph is not substantial enough. Marasmusine (talk) 10:47, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

Battery
[edit]I have arbitrarily dab'ed "battery" to Battery (electricity). Change this to Missile battery if you know that this is appropriate. -Arch dude (talk) 02:03, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
