The 2025 Alton, Illinois, mayoral election will be held on April 1, 2025. Incumbent mayor, David Goins, is running for a second term as mayor as mayor of Alton, Illinois.[1]

Background

David Goins was first elected in 2021, by 55.4%, against incumbent Brant Walker.[2] Goins announced his re-election campaign, in October 2024.
