The 2024–25 season is the 137th season in the history of Walsall Football Club and their sixth consecutive season in League Two. The club are participating in the League Two, the FA Cup, the EFL Cup, and the EFL Trophy.

Pre-season and friendlies

On 25 April, Walsall announced their first pre-season friendly, against Aston Villa.[27] A month later, the club confirmed a further two pre-season matches, against Alvechurch and Tamworth.[28] A trip to Ireland was also confirmed, along with a fixture versus Drogheda United.[29] On June 3, a fifth fixture was added, versus Solihull Moors.[30] Over a week later, a visit from Birmingham City was also added.[31]
