Request for input

I currently have an FLC which received no comments in 7 days so I wanted to invite you for some input. I'll give input on any of your nominations in return if there are any open ones. Cheers!--NØ 08:51, 14 January 2019 (UTC)

MaranoFan Sure I'll get right on it! BeatlesLedTV (talk) 19:59, 14 January 2019 (UTC)

Responding to your GA Reviews

Hello, I have looked at your GA Reviews of On Sight, Father Stretch My Hands and Waves (Kanye West song). None of these three articles have been made up to GA standard yet by me after your reviews but I have improved them if you care to take a look. Waves was improved by me not recently and more at a time closer to your review but I didn't post this on your talk page until now because I've improved three articles which is definitely notable, not sure about just one. Thanks for your feedback and I hope to make Wikipedia articles even better! --Kyle Peake (talk) 08:16, 4 February 2019 (UTC)

Renominated On Sight for GA

Hello, I have made heavy fixes to On Sight and now believe it is of the GA quality that you set. Take a look and tell me what you think. --Kyle Peake (talk) 11:12, 5 February 2019 (UTC)

All good. It was replaced by a new version. BeatlesLedTV (talk) 17:25, 16 February 2019 (UTC)

FLC

Hi BeatlesLedTV. If interested, please leave your comments at my ongoing FLC. Thanks! Yashthepunisher (talk) 19:40, 15 February 2019 (UTC)

Yashthepunisher Yep I'll look at it right now. BeatlesLedTV (talk) 17:26, 16 February 2019 (UTC)

Father Stretch My Hands

"Has to be "Pt. 1/2" since that's how West titled them." - you on the GA review for Father Stretch My Hands. Should I write "Pt. 1" or "Father Stretch My Hands, Pt. 1" throughout the article? It's obvious to write "Pt. 2" because that's the official title so I needn't ask about that one. --Kyle Peake (talk) 17:55, 21 February 2019 (UTC)

Kyle Peake For that song you could get away with just writing "Pt. 1". I imagine West labeled the tracks "Father Stretch My Hands, Pt. 1" and "Pt. 2" because it'd be repetitive to write "Father Stretch My Hands" for both tracks and since they come right after the other, he expected everyone to listen to them back-to-back, on top of them flowing together seamlessly. So other than the lead, which you should mention as being titled "Father Stretch My Hands, Pt. 1" and "Pt. 2" respectively, you can get away with just saying "Pt. 1" and "Pt. 2" throughout the rest of the article.
On a different note, sorry I didn't respond to your posts regarding "On Sight". My main problem with the article in its current state is that I think it's a little short, and the GA criteria doesn't list how big articles have to be. I'll check other GAs out to see how properly big they have to be, because I know GAs can range from very big to moderately small. I'll do more research and then properly give "On Sight" another GA review, but it looks better than how it previously looked. BeatlesLedTV (talk) 18:07, 21 February 2019 (UTC)
Thank you, I haven't edited the entire Father Stretch My Hands article but I've updated the introduction to be as you suggested. Also about On Sight and GA criteria, Gorgeous (Kanye West song) is a GA and if you look at the revision history, it passed the criteria when about the same size as On Sight. --Kyle Peake (talk) 22:14, 21 February 2019 (UTC)

Hi there, Beatles. Its been a while now. How are things going with you? Good I hope. Here's my latest FLC. Please feel free to leave your comments, which are constructive as always.  — Ssven2 Looking at you, kid 07:36, 2 March 2019 (UTC)

Ssven I've been doing well thanks for asking! Same to you I hope! I'll check out your FLC later today. :) BeatlesLedTV (talk) 17:24, 2 March 2019 (UTC)
I'm doing well too. A gentle reminder btw.  — Ssven2 Looking at you, kid 07:14, 4 March 2019 (UTC)

JOBTITLES

Re this, see MOS:JOBTITLES. Per that guideline, a title is not capitalized when preceded by a definite article or modifier, in this case the words "the first". A different editor has changed it back. Please refrain from capitalizing any titles until you are well familiar with the guideline. If you have any questions, contact me on my talk page. ―Mandruss  03:04, 4 March 2019 (UTC)

Mandruss Oh sorry I was not aware of that. My bad. BeatlesLedTV (talk) 18:12, 4 March 2019 (UTC)

Legacy

Where does this section belong in the article of Father Stretch My Hands? I mean I'm about to move In popular culture to below Live performances and i know Legacy goes after Commercial performance but does it go after the others too? --Kyle Peake (talk) 16:55, 22 March 2019 (UTC)

Kyle Peake In "Ultralight Beam" I had live performances above commercial performance and legacy under that. I would do that and put in popular culture under legacy. BeatlesLedTV (talk) 19:32, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
BeatlesLedTV I have fixed the ordering now and even though the article isn't ready for Good status yet, I have heavily improved it and would like you to take a look and post your feedback after having done so. On a separate but similar note, do all chart positions need to be referenced in Commercial performance --Kyle Peake (talk) 20:54, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
Kyle Peake I did for "Ultralight Beam" since there were only four countries. However, for an actual single, I think it would help to look at other singles that are GA's or are GAN's to see what other editors do, especially when there's more than 4–5 countries. However, "Father" only has like 6 different countries between "Pt. 1" and "Pt. 2" so I think you can mention all of them. BeatlesLedTV (talk) 22:46, 22 March 2019 (UTC)

WikiProject Kanye West?

You said before that plenty of West's songs could do with expanding on Wiki and plus twenty of them are now GA's, this project should be made but i don't know how, can you create it for/with me please? --Kyle Peake (talk) 16:29, 28 March 2019 (UTC)

Kyle Peake I was actually thinking about whether or not a WikiProject existed for him as I was updating WikiProject The Beatles yesterday. I think one should exist for him but I wouldn't know how to go about creating one though. If it's not overly complicated, I'd love to help you make it.
In terms of articles that need expanding, many from TLoP, including "Waves", "Wolves", "Famous", and maybe a couple others have potential to be GAs. I'd also really like to see "Black Skinhead" become GA, since "Bound 2" and now "On Sight" are GAs. "Black Skinhead" is debatably the most notable song from Yeezus so it deserves to be GA. What are some of his articles that you'd like see expanding? Or becoming GAs in the future? – BeatlesLedTV (talk) 17:20, 28 March 2019 (UTC)
I believe Violent Crimes, Mercy and Homecoming have potential to become GAs and would love to see them be that in the future. I have been editing Violent Crimes recently, take a look? Kyle Peake (talk) 17:28, 28 March 2019 (UTC)
Kyle Peake It looks much better, same for "Ghost Town". I'd also like to see songs from 808s & Heartbreak become GAs (or expanded), such as "Welcome to Heartbreak", "Heartless" (especially), "Amazing", "Love Lockdown", and "Paranoid". As well as some from Kids See Ghosts. – BeatlesLedTV (talk) 17:30, 28 March 2019 (UTC)
If I did nominate Violent Crimes for GA once it's been expanded even further, would you wish me to notify you or would you become aware of this on your part? Kyle Peake (talk) 17:59, 28 March 2019 (UTC)
Kyle Peake If you wanna notify me go right ahead. I'll gladly review any of West's song you decide to expand. I'll even help you with some when I'm not working on other projects. – BeatlesLedTV (talk) 19:19, 28 March 2019 (UTC)
Is it ok for me to change the class of songs that I have edited? I mean changing them to like C or Start class, I know to nominate something before listing it as a GA or FA. --Kyle Peake (talk) 19:47, 28 March 2019 (UTC)
Kyle Peake Of course. If you feel it's much better than "start-class" then change it. – BeatlesLedTV (talk) 21:02, 28 March 2019 (UTC)
On the subject of Black Skinhead, the article is not ready to become a GA yet but I have a question. Instead of a background section to begin the article, the section titled production begins it because that gives a background on Daft Punk and the song. Does this work? --Kyle Peake (talk) 19:53, 1 April 2019 (UTC)
Kyle Peake Retitle it "Background and composition" and it can be expanded to contain the actual composition later. Having it be "Production" just sounds weird since it contains background as well. – BeatlesLedTV (talk) 20:48, 1 April 2019 (UTC)
Done --Kyle Peake (talk) 20:52, 1 April 2019 (UTC)

I have now nominated Violent Crimes (song) for becoming a GA, care to review it sometime today? Kyle Peake (talk) 09:30, 30 March 2019 (UTC)

Kyle Peake I'll get to it soon, a bit busy irl. – BeatlesLedTV (talk) 15:49, 30 March 2019 (UTC)
That's great to hear, can't wait to see it! Kyle Peake (talk) 19:53, 30 March 2019 (UTC)
Patient enough to have left it until the afternoon rather than asking very soon, but could you review Violent Crimes today since you missed out yesterday? (though I respect that) I was surprised when I woke up to no GA review so yeah that would be dope. Kyle Peake (talk) 11:18, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
Again please be patient. I got some priorities to do irl but will get to it soon. Most likely in a couple hours. – BeatlesLedTV (talk) 15:27, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
Lol it's fine I'll wait and will be super happy to see your review, I might see it late this evening because it's mother's day after all (I'm UK as said before) Kyle Peake (talk) 15:36, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
@Kyle Peake: Please be patience when asking BeatlesLedTV for help. Several times now I've noticed you seeking immediate assistance. Patience is a virtue. As for WikiProject Kanye West, this project seems appropriate to me. If you're too intimidated to get into all the article assessment stuff, start simple. Just create the page Wikipedia:WikiProject Kanye West, establish a project scope and participants section, and see how signs up to help. You might be surprised how others find their way and start setting up project features on their own. Again, just be bold and give it a shot! :) Or, ping me if you want me to get the ball rolling... ---Another Believer (Talk) 16:20, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
@Another Believer: Yeah I've been rushing things a bit recently and have my regrets from doing so, meaning it's very unlikely you'll see me like this next time I want a GA review. And I'll create the project soon, will post on your talk page when done thanks. --Kyle Peake (talk) 16:24, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
Kyle Peake, Great, thanks! And don't take my about patience comment the wrong way. I love your enthusiasm and hope you'll continue creating quality content, I just don't want other volunteers to feel like they not doing enough by keeping the same pace. Happy editing and good luck getting the project started! ---Another Believer (Talk) 16:26, 31 March 2019 (UTC)

I have created this project but nobody has signed up for it, care to take a look? I'll be expecting you to respond to my points about Violent Crimes first though, thanks. --Kyle Peake (talk) 15:37, 4 April 2019 (UTC)

Kyle Peake What you need to do is bring awareness to the project. Post about it on his talk page where many of his editors will see it. You also need to add the template to every one of his pages (every one) and add classes and importance to them. The project also needs to be expanded if it's gonna be as grand as other WikiProjects. I'll be able to help you out with expanding it but you'll still need to go through every page adding the project to them. Make sense? – BeatlesLedTV (talk) 17:20, 4 April 2019 (UTC)
Yeah it does, posted about it on Talk:Kanye West, but I don't know how to create a template with classes to add on talk pages? --Kyle Peake (talk) 18:35, 4 April 2019 (UTC)
Kyle Peake I'm pretty sure you just have to create a new template, but I'd do some more research. I'd help but I'm a bit busy atm. – BeatlesLedTV (talk) 19:07, 4 April 2019 (UTC)
Not entirely sure on how to create a WikiProject template, in the meantime could you respond to my messages about Violent Crimes when available? --Kyle Peake (talk) 20:35, 4 April 2019 (UTC)
Kyle Peake Passed it. Congrats to you. – BeatlesLedTV (talk) 21:22, 4 April 2019 (UTC)
Woohoo thanks a ton! Now time to try and create another GA, I don't know maybe Skinhead next? Kyle Peake (talk) 05:37, 5 April 2019 (UTC)
Kyle Peake That's up to you. I'd personally say "Black Skinhead" or "Ghost Town". – BeatlesLedTV (talk) 13:29, 5 April 2019 (UTC)

Chart positions

For "Violent Crimes", do all of the chart positions need to be referenced in commercial performance or can I only do the top 40 ones since it wasn't a single? --Kyle Peake (talk) 20:59, 29 March 2019 (UTC)

Kyle Peake Gotta cite everything. – BeatlesLedTV (talk) 00:22, 30 March 2019 (UTC)

Hi there, Beatles. Here's my latest FLC. Please feel free to leave your comments, which are constructive as always.  — Ssven2 Looking at you, kid 16:35, 3 April 2019 (UTC)

Ssven2 Sure I'll hop on that right now! – BeatlesLedTV (talk) 17:34, 3 April 2019 (UTC)
Thanks, Beatles. I've resolved them. Do have a look again and get back to me.  — Ssven2 Looking at you, kid 05:23, 4 April 2019 (UTC)
Ssven2 Forgot to ask, care to check out my FLC when you get a chance? :-) – BeatlesLedTV (talk) 17:25, 5 April 2019 (UTC)
Sure thing, Beatles. Could you also post some comments at the PR of the 1978 Tamil film, Mullum Malarum. It is considered to be a breakthrough for Rajinikanth as an actor and protagonist as he was mainly into antagonist and supporting roles at the time. A fellow editor and friend of mine, Kailash29792, is planning to take this article to FA. Please do help him out as he is making a fourth attempt at FA for this film. The link for the PR is right here. Thank you.  — Ssven2 Looking at you, kid 08:26, 7 April 2019 (UTC)
Another thing. I've opened up a peer review for my next attempt at an FA. This article is about Kal Ho Naa Ho, a 2003 Indian Hindi film that has Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role. Please do have a look at the article and post your comments at the peer review, the link for which is right here. Do let me know when you plan to post your comments at the peer review of both articles. Thanks.  — Ssven2 Looking at you, kid 12:39, 7 April 2019 (UTC)
Ssven2 Sure! Even though I'm very inexperienced with FAs I'll try my best! – BeatlesLedTV (talk) 19:57, 7 April 2019 (UTC)

Good Articles

Decided to start a new section on your talk page for this because too much discussion of it was in the WikiProject Kanye West section. I will next be trying to make "Black Skinhead" a GA, and maybe "All Mine" or "Amazing" after that. Also I'd like to ask about "Waves" since it may have GA potential: is my sourcing in the composition section for the genres of hip hop and pop acceptable? --Kyle Peake (talk) 16:51, 5 April 2019 (UTC)

Kyle Peake "Waves" still needs some expanding before I'd call it a GA. The sourcing looks good but the main problem is there are too many headings that are too little. I would personally love to see songs from 808s & Heartbreak become GAs, mainly due to the influence 808s has had on rap music since 2008. Rolling Stone even ranked it among the 50 most groundbreaking albums of all time in maybe 2014. 808s itself is a GA but none of its songs are, while I think at least one song from almost every album of his is now up to GA, although unsure about College Dropout and Late Registration. I'd love to see "Black Skinhead" get up to GA, but I'd especially love to see "Heartless" become GA, or at least be expanded. I've already expanded it a little bit but it could still use more. I'll definitely help out when I'm free but I still have other projects I wanna work on. Feel free to ask anytime if you need help. :-) – BeatlesLedTV (talk) 17:22, 5 April 2019 (UTC)
Good to hear, it does seem a bit jumbled and I'll get to work on "Black Skinhead" sometime. By the way, "Through the Wire" is already a GA from The College Dropout. --Kyle Peake (talk) 17:33, 5 April 2019 (UTC)
I knew at least one was from Dropout. Dropout and Late Registration are honestly his two albums that seem to have the least coverage on WP in terms of individual songs. Might be something to think about for the future. – BeatlesLedTV (talk) 17:38, 5 April 2019 (UTC)
Personally I believe "Heard 'Em Say may become a GA with expansions, what do you think? --Kyle Peake (talk) 20:13, 5 April 2019 (UTC)
It's a possibility, but it currently has some dead links and we'd probably have to reach out to the editors who were responsible for expanding it in the first place (if they're still around). That's just common courtesy. – BeatlesLedTV (talk) 20:17, 5 April 2019 (UTC)
I am confused currently when trying to add Credits and personnel, why is No I.D. listed as a producer on "Black Skinhead" when the liner notes for Yeezus (find them in the article under track listing) don't name him as one? I will take a guess that he has been credited on Tidal for production after the release and if so, can I reword the liner notes in Credits and personnel to be laid out in the Tidal style with his name added since every other producer is the same? --Kyle Peake (talk) 14:23, 6 April 2019 (UTC)
That's weird that the liner notes don't have him as a producer when he's clearly listed in the track listing. I'd source both then if Tidal lists him as a producer. – BeatlesLedTV (talk) 15:22, 6 April 2019 (UTC)
I believe it is listed on Tidal since the track listing and song Wiki calls him a producer but I don't have a Tidal account so don't know for sure - could you check for me? --Kyle Peake (talk) 15:37, 6 April 2019 (UTC)
Kyle Peake The credits for Tidal for "Black Skinhead" don't mention No. ID anywhere. Tidal lists everyone under their real names and No. ID (real name Ernest Wilson) isn't anywhere, not even in the studio personnel. So honestly he shouldn't be listed as a producer on the song's page and on Yeezus's page. I honestly don't know where No. ID came from cuz he's not listed in the liner notes of Yeezus either so he should be removed. – BeatlesLedTV (talk) 20:55, 6 April 2019 (UTC)
I will remove his name from both but leave a message on talk pages explaining this decision in case someone has an unreferenced source on No I.D. --Kyle Peake (talk) 21:04, 6 April 2019 (UTC)
Yeah idk who listed him as a producer but I'd sure like to know who and the source they had. – BeatlesLedTV (talk) 22:54, 6 April 2019 (UTC)
I would like to say thanks for helping improve "Black Skinhead" in a few parts and I have now expanded it enough so nominated the article for becoming a GA. I think the introduction may be out of order because i'm not too sure on how to do them but if it is, you can explain any issues in the review. --Kyle Peake (talk) 09:56, 7 April 2019 (UTC)

Next GA

I'd say "All Mine" should be the song I next prepare for GA status if "Black Skinhead" passes, which is likely due to the past three and I am referencing it passing on hold, since this is more likely than instantly passing. I believe "All Mine" should be this because it is debatable as the most notable song from Ye and only one song from the album is a GA, which is obviously not as notable a track. Agree? --Kyle Peake (talk) 21:10, 10 April 2019 (UTC)

Kyle Peake I think you should do "Blood on the Leaves" next, or at least have it in the queue. There's also not a limit as to how many articles you can nominate for GA at one time, so you could even nominate it now if you want. Yeah I would "All Mine", or "Ghost Town" are the most notable songs from Ye. I'll probably work on "Black Skinhead"'s review tonight so it's there for ya tomorrow morning. – BeatlesLedTV (talk) 23:35, 10 April 2019 (UTC)
I have now nominated "All Mine" for becoming a GA, when will you likely review it? And make sure you remember this: the ref used in commercial performance for Slovakia and Czech Republic can't be archived, so don't use the bot for fixes because everything else = archived. Yes there is an archive but that's from over ten years ago with totally different content. On another note, the content about Francis and the Lights producing and writing Should be there because producers are credited as writers by West so I found a source that explicitly states Francis did both
--Kyle Peake (talk) 20:25, 13 April 2019 (UTC)
It's been two days after I posted this message and though I didn't expect an instant review, I thought you'd at least reply within this time period. So I gave it more than just a day and will ask again now: when do you think you can review this? --Kyle Peake (talk) 18:13, 15 April 2019 (UTC)
Kyle Peake Very sorry I've been meaning to get to it but I've doing other things atm. I'll do some of it rn but will finish it tonight. Again sorry about that. – BeatlesLedTV (talk) 18:19, 15 April 2019 (UTC)
Nice to hear and it's fine, just make sure you read my above comments when undertaking the review. On another note, I'm targeting "Amazing" for next GA as no 808s songs are one yet. --Kyle Peake (talk) 18:21, 15 April 2019 (UTC)
Gotcha i'll keep that in mind. :-) – BeatlesLedTV (talk) 18:22, 15 April 2019 (UTC)
Dope, may see your review late at night or wake up to it! --Kyle Peake (talk) 18:23, 15 April 2019 (UTC)

I Thought About Killing You composition?

When writing this section on the "I Thought About Killing You" Wikipedia page, I've got the content all there. Just not sure how to organize the added lyrics for the clean version (at three minutes and 30 seconds in) and uncredited, then later removed from the song, sample (at three minutes and ten seconds). The issue is that the information about the lyrics is from a date months earlier than the sample removal, but the lyrics come later on in the song. What should I do here? --Kyle Peake (talk) 15:45, 16 April 2019 (UTC)

I've actually never heard the clean version of this song. I also never realized that the song was actually changed since June, I might have to check it out. In terms of your question, I guess just try to be as clear as possible. But taking a brief look at "I Thought About Killing You", it has a ways to go before it's GA status. – BeatlesLedTV (talk) 17:14, 16 April 2019 (UTC)
Yeah I know that, I'm targeting "Amazing" for the next GA. But the sample and edited clean lyrics are only 20 seconds apart, so does it matter that the lyrics are mentioned first when they come afterwards? --Kyle Peake (talk) 17:59, 16 April 2019 (UTC)
In terms of comp you wanna be as precise as possible, especially since WP is an encyclopedia. I'd say whatever makes the most sense. – BeatlesLedTV (talk) 03:12, 17 April 2019 (UTC)
On the subject of "Amazing", I've now nominated it for becoming a GA. When will you be able to submit a review? --Kyle Peake (talk) 12:59, 19 April 2019 (UTC)
Probably today or tomorrow. – BeatlesLedTV (talk) 16:45, 19 April 2019 (UTC)
Look forward to seeing it, before you review I'll ask now how's the article look in general? --Kyle Peake (talk) 16:50, 19 April 2019 (UTC)
Without delving deep into it, it looks alright. I'll start looking at it rn. – BeatlesLedTV (talk) 19:03, 19 April 2019 (UTC)

WikiProjects

About articles such as Power (Kanye West song) and Ghost Town (Kanye West song) where "Rap rock" is listed as a genre, can they be added to WikiProject rock since they're in the hip hop WikiProject? --Kyle Peake (talk) 14:57, 18 April 2019 (UTC)

No because they're not "true" rock. Like when I think of "rap rock", I think more of the Beastie Boys, not Kanye. I know "Power" samples King Crimson, but still it's way more hip hop than rock. – BeatlesLedTV (talk) 15:41, 18 April 2019 (UTC)
You seem to know quite a bit about West whenever the subject of him comes up, am I right in believing that even though you're more into Led Zeppelin and Beatles, you are a fan of West as a musician? --Kyle Peake (talk) 18:46, 18 April 2019 (UTC)
Kyle Peake Yeah I love West's music. I've been a huge fan of his for quite a while now. I think he's one of the best rappers of all time; I also view his personal life and music separately while most don't. I respect him a lot as an artist, and think he's made some of the best music of our time. I actually hated Yeezus when it first came out but when I heard "Black Skinhead" in Suicide Squad (2016) I decided to give it a re-listen and realized how good it was. I also didn't hear Pablo initially until he updated everything (at the time I was moving on to other artists) but I since listened to Ye and Kids See Ghosts the day they came out. I also really look forward to Yandhi when he finally releases that. But yeah in terms of my username, I obviously love way more than Zeppelin and the Beatles. I was just trying to think of a username at the time and that was what came to me. I would so change it but I've already established myself for three years as BeatlesLedTV so for me it wouldn't make sense to change it. But yeah I definitely appreciate West as an artist. I don't like all of his songs but not every artist creates a gem every time. – BeatlesLedTV (talk) 21:26, 18 April 2019 (UTC)
That's super cool to hear, I have West down as my favourite artist! Speaking of his music, "Stronger" would be great to see as a GA some time in the future since it is one of my fav West songs and maybe the most notable song of his entire career. What do you think of the song itself and the GA possibility as a highly notable track? --Kyle Peake (talk) 22:10, 18 April 2019 (UTC)
"Stronger" is one of the first songs I heard from West and before I heard all of Graduation, was the only song from that that I listened to. While many fans of Daft Punk believe West ruined "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger", I honestly love the sample; it was actually one of the first rap songs to integrate electronic music with it. "Stronger" looks pretty good at the moment (as does "I Wonder"), but we would have to reach out to the primary expanders of them, to get their input (if they're available). It's the right thing to do since they're both already pretty well expanded and both of us had very little to do with their expansions. – BeatlesLedTV (talk) 23:16, 18 April 2019 (UTC)

Another GA

Right now I'm looking to make will.i.am and Cody Wise's collab "It's My Birthday" into a GA, though it's still a while off. Could you do me a favour and add the personnel, since I don't have Tidal so can't do it myself? And I'm not asking for any other contributions currently, since I may ask you to review this at a later date. --Kyle Peake (talk) 22:03, 22 April 2019 (UTC)

Speaking of West songs though, "I Thought About Killing You" will be the next one by him I target for GA. --Kyle Peake (talk) 13:58, 23 April 2019 (UTC)
Sounds good. Just notify me when they're ready. :-) – BeatlesLedTV (talk) 14:21, 23 April 2019 (UTC)
Cool, can u add the personnel for that will.i.am song please? --Kyle Peake (talk) 15:08, 23 April 2019 (UTC)
Yep sorry I completely forgot. I'll do that rn. – BeatlesLedTV (talk) 15:43, 23 April 2019 (UTC)
I've submitted "It's My Birthday" for GA status, would you care to give it a review? --Kyle Peake (talk) 13:20, 26 April 2019 (UTC)
So will you review it sometime over the next week or so? Also, there's no limit on GA nominees and "ITAKY" is almost ready for nomination. --Kyle Peake (talk) 15:44, 28 April 2019 (UTC)
Edit: I have now nominated "I Thought About Killing You" for GA status. Which will you review first? --Kyle Peake (talk) 21:46, 28 April 2019 (UTC)
Hey Kyle Peake sorry I didn't respond earlier. Been doing other things irl and haven't properly edited anything in like 5 days. I'll check out the articles this week and will get back to you with some comments then. Until then just work on other things. Most GA nominations take forever to get picked up anyways (took about 4-5 months for "Ultralight Beam" to get picked up) so just keep in mind that if they don't get reviewed immediately it's no big deal. While I have enjoyed our ongoing collaboration on West's articles the past month, I do have other things going on irl and on WP, so again, if I can't review things immediately it's not the end of the world. Happy editing. :-) – BeatlesLedTV (talk) 16:57, 29 April 2019 (UTC)
It's fine aha! Speaking of busy, I won't be so quick on GA's over the next month or two due to having exams. Will still be on Wiki some days though. --Kyle Peake (talk) 18:09, 29 April 2019 (UTC)
All good. I actually got exams myself next week so I'll be on less as well. – BeatlesLedTV (talk) 19:08, 29 April 2019 (UTC)
Now I'm back on, I'll ask which will you do first, the will.i.am or West song? --Kyle Peake (talk) 15:41, 2 May 2019 (UTC)
I'll probably do the song I know first ("ITAKY") but when I'm unsure of. Probably later today (for me in the US) once I get other more important things taken care of irl. – BeatlesLedTV (talk) 18:16, 2 May 2019 (UTC)
Dope, I have fixed the lead now and will be happy to see your review soon. --Kyle Peake (talk) 18:43, 2 May 2019 (UTC)

ITAKY and edits

Hi, I know you are aware that me and the other user have been in disputes over "ITAKY". As I have said before it is stressing me out, since I am losing motivation to Wiki somewhat as I feel my edits may just be rv even though there's nothing wrong. I have told Ascribe4 to post the "OR" argument about "Power" and Runaway on the article's talk page to prevent edit warring, which I hope they will do as seeing who supports/opposes content is the most civil way to go about it rather than edit wars. --Kyle Peake (talk) 05:41, 3 May 2019 (UTC)

We've had some discussions and it may seem like the article could fail due to edit warring, but we've actually made a few editing compromises so it's fine. There's an ongoing dispute right now about the "Power" and Swift info in the article from refs, which I believe should be as you can read on my talk page (dk how to Wiki link myself) --Kyle Peake (talk) 15:27, 4 May 2019 (UTC)
So will you be able to get to this article today? --Kyle Peake (talk) 19:26, 4 May 2019 (UTC)
Very uncertain. I got a lot going on irl over the next week so it might not be til then. – BeatlesLedTV (talk) 19:33, 4 May 2019 (UTC)
fair enough, could you look on the song's page for info about what s going on between me and the user like I said, then comment on this to me and/or them as I'm getting tired of them. --Kyle Peake (talk) 20:49, 4 May 2019 (UTC)
Could you get to that song today? First and only message of the day since it's my birthday, though I will respond to any issues tomorrow. --Kyle Peake (talk) 16:16, 15 May 2019 (UTC)
Happy birthday! Depends on when my day clears up. Don't worry everything gets done one day. – zmbro (talk) 20:40, 15 May 2019 (UTC)
Thank you and yeah it's fine, I'll be notified when you start by the bot if you don't mention me anyway. Probably sometime this month though? --Kyle Peake (talk) 20:39, 16 May 2019 (UTC)
For sure this month. Just based on when I'm free and when I ultimately feel like doing it, since it does take a little while. – zmbro (talk) 22:24, 16 May 2019 (UTC)

Thanks for your comments at Wikipedia:Featured list candidates/List of national lakeshores and seashores of the United States/archive1. Since my related List of national memorials of the United States hasn't gotten any reviews yet, any remarks would be appreciated. Thanks, Reywas92Talk 23:49, 3 May 2019 (UTC)

New name

Hello all. Over the past year I have grown to dislike my username, feeling it no longer really fits me. I originally thought of it on a limb three years ago since that was what I was most into then, but since I've grown substantially and feel I'm no longer editing articles or lists related to those in my old name. So, I decided to change my name from BeatlesLedTV to zmbro (pronounced "zim-bro"), which I believe fits me better. I'm still the same person, just a new name. Might throw a few off at first but I'm still the same person. Happy editing! :-) – zmbro (talk) 14:25, 8 May 2019 (UTC)

Haha nice one, I looked under contributions for BeatlesLedTV and remembered when it was dead that you said about a name change before. A question though, can the genre for "Paranoid" be changed to Electropop since it is mentioned as synth-pop and electronic? --Kyle Peake (talk) 15:26, 8 May 2019 (UTC)
I'm not sure actually. The electropop page says that the genre is basically synth-pop with more emphasis on electronics so maybe...? I think if you found a source saying it's electropop it'd be more reliable than combining the two. – zmbro (talk) 16:39, 8 May 2019 (UTC)
I'll just leave it as that then, by the way with your recent strings of edits I'll ask when will you do the first GA review? --Kyle Peake (talk) 21:03, 8 May 2019 (UTC)
Won't be til after Saturday. – zmbro (talk) 21:40, 8 May 2019 (UTC)
Oh right, I'll check with u on Sunday or something like that --Kyle Peake (talk) 21:56, 8 May 2019 (UTC)

FA?

I have researched and found enough info to expand "Black Skinhead" to FA status, but do you agree that the track is notable enough since it was platinum in three countries and debatebly the biggest Yeezus track? Kyle Peake (talk) 16:08, 18 May 2019 (UTC)

As long as it meets the FA criteria (which should be reviewed extensively). But remember, multiple editors (typically 3-5 at least) must give their support so it won't be just me who looks at it. – zmbro (talk) 20:31, 18 May 2019 (UTC)
It's nominated now, care to share your thoughts on the nomination page? --Kyle Peake (talk) 14:03, 27 May 2019 (UTC)
Sure thing! Also I'm gonna wait to check out other editors' inputs first; I'd love to see what others have to say about it first. Congrats to you, if it becomes an FA, that's quite an accomplishment, especially knowing how far its come from. :-) – zmbro (talk) 14:42, 27 May 2019 (UTC)
Yeah that's dope to hear and all, but nobody has commented as of current. I'm not rushing you though as it's your decision when to do so and in the meantime, you can see how massive "Black Skinhead" is. --Kyle Peake (talk) 16:31, 27 May 2019 (UTC)
Gotta remember not everything is instant. People comment much faster over at FAC rather than FLC and the directors over there like to keep turnover high so over there you can expect it to stay nominated a month MAX. You just gotta be patient and work on other projects til then. – zmbro (talk) 16:38, 27 May 2019 (UTC)

"Good Morning"

I have helped improve this article further after you fixed dead links, as you can see on the edit history and it's not like one or two as the user who nominated TLOP for GA status did. Could you review "Good Morning" before "ITAKY" since it is more recognizable than the latter among West's fanbase? --Kyle Peake (talk) 12:54, 26 May 2019 (UTC)

"Good Morning" is actually one of my favorite West songs. The main problem I noticed though is that it's extremely repetitive. Primarily one editor expanded it, seen here, which is very cool. However, almost everything is said multiple times in almost every section, so before it becomes a GA, I think it should be significantly trimmed, definitely doesn't need to be over 100k bytes. – zmbro (talk) 16:01, 26 May 2019 (UTC)
I have now trimmed the background section for a starter, as it has a lot of repetition from comp. Does the section look much better? --Kyle Peake (talk) 17:01, 26 May 2019 (UTC)
Yeah it does. Trim the whole thing then ask again. Don't need to ask for every section. :-) – zmbro (talk) 17:26, 26 May 2019 (UTC)
I have done a lot of work on "Low Lights" and nominated it for GA status. Maybe it would be good to review that first as "Good Morning" still isn't ready and it will take longer to do "ITAKY". It's not like I'm rushing you or anything obvy because I don't ask about GAs every day like I used to; I have learnt from my mistakes! --Kyle Peake (talk) 07:44, 30 May 2019 (UTC)
Edit: You did say before that you would have the "ITAKY" review done by the end of May and we're here now, will you be reviewing that or at least "Low Lights" tonight? (it's 22:12 in the UK where I live) --Kyle Peake (talk) 21:12, 31 May 2019 (UTC)
Currently out of town until June 3. Won't be editing anything major until then. Sorry for not being true to my word, had a lot going on. I'd focus at what the FAC reviewers are telling you about "Black Skinhead" and request a full copy edit for it, especially if you wanna see it become an FA. – zmbro (talk) 22:12, 31 May 2019 (UTC)
I have seen your edits on various songs from today and yesterday. Care to review Low Lights tonight? Kyle Peake (talk) 05:42, 3 June 2019 (UTC)
Going out of state again today and won't be back til tomorrow night. Been a pretty busy week. It'll get done at some point. Whether by me or another editor, it'll get done in time. – zmbro (talk) 13:11, 3 June 2019 (UTC)
Alright, I'll stop commenting about this on your talk page unless it isn't done by next month. --Kyle Peake (talk) 06:07, 4 June 2019 (UTC)
Actually i ve noticed you've been active quite a bit recently, couldn't you review it this week? Kyle Peake (talk) 05:54, 10 June 2019 (UTC)
User:Cartoon network freak has already claimed "Low Lights". Might do "Paranoid" in a couple hours but haven't decided yet. Btw congrats on doing some GA reviews yourself! Definitely takes some work and lots of focus :-) – zmbro (talk) 14:11, 10 June 2019 (UTC)
Yeah I know he has, should have mentioned that first aha. Either that or "ITAKY" as he's claimed "Be Like Me" too. So it's likely this week? --Kyle Peake (talk) 18:09, 10 June 2019 (UTC)

Lock "Through The Wire"

Not sure how to do this, could you help me out please? There has been multiple accounts of vandalism from IPs. --Kyle Peake (talk) 15:39, 26 May 2019 (UTC)

Kyle Peake Check out WP:SEMI. – zmbro (talk) 16:07, 26 May 2019 (UTC)
Requested it --Kyle Peake (talk) 16:36, 26 May 2019 (UTC)

Points

Just a few things I'd like to tell you about.

  • When adding a song to the list of good articles sorted by year, add it as the year the single was released not necessarily the accompanying album; see "No Church in the Wild" and "All Around the World".
  • It's not like I'll be adding MTV/Billboard lyrics in the External links for every song, not that many have the lyrics published by those sites.
  • "All Day" will be the next article I submit for GA status, though it's still a way off I'm expanding on it as of recent.
  • Good luck with "Blood on the Leaves" for your next GA, but you might want to give it a read through to see if any edits need making.

--Kyle Peake (talk) 19:14, 15 June 2019 (UTC)

Right now I wanna make Yeezus a good topic, since 3/10 songs & soon to be 4 (& the album itself) are already GAs. Next for me will be "I Am a God", "New Slaves", & "Hold My Liquor". If you wanna help out you're more than welcome to. I think "Guilt Trip" and "I'm In It" will be the most challenging in terms of finding actual content on them. And why, what's wrong with "Blood" as it is? – zmbro (talk) 20:53, 15 June 2019 (UTC)
Not any major issues, just does require a bit of a read through as I can see a few sentences that read awkwardly though it'd be better for you to do this than me as you're the nominator. As for "I Am a God", that's actually next in my cue after "All Day" and I may start working on it now instead; I did have the good topic idea in my mind before today. --Kyle Peake (talk) 21:28, 15 June 2019 (UTC)
Alright I'll do another read-through and check it out. I've already started expanding "I Am a God" but I'm good if you wanna take control. I'm gonna look at "New Slaves" and "Hold My Liquor" starting tonight. – zmbro (talk) 21:32, 15 June 2019 (UTC)

Yeezus good topic

I can see that you're taking control of "Guilt Trip" now and I'm currently working on "I Am a God". After this, would you be ok if it was me who made "Hold My Liquor" to a GA nominee? Kyle Peake (talk) 05:43, 18 June 2019 (UTC)

Kyle Peake Absolutely go for it! I'm almost done with "Guilt Trip" so I might do "I'm In It" next. That'll probably be the hardest one to expand. – zmbro (talk) 14:18, 18 June 2019 (UTC)
Sounds good, I was actually thinking of taking control of "Guilt Trip" before you expanded it. Might add a few exp of my own though. --Kyle Peake (talk) 14:43, 18 June 2019 (UTC)
Kyle Peake Sounds good. It mainly could still use some reception exp and some on live performances. – zmbro (talk) 15:15, 18 June 2019 (UTC)
Though "I Am a God" has been nominated by me and is over 40k bytes, "I Thought About Killing You" has been in the cue for nearly two months now. When will you get round to it? --Kyle Peake (talk) 15:19, 18 June 2019 (UTC)

ITAKY

When will you get round to reviewing this article as it's been in the cue for nearly two months now? Kyle Peake (talk) 21:47, 21 June 2019 (UTC)

Kyle Peake As of right now it's not on my list of things to do. Probably not what you wanted to hear but I personally wanna work on other projects; I've also been a bit busy irl. While I was ok with helping you sort things out with that one editor a while back with the article, I'm gonna let someone else take the reins for its GAN. I realize that it's been in the queue for a while but that's honestly what happens with most. "Ultralight Beam" for me didn't get picked up for 4 months. Again, sorry, hope you can understand. We should still work on improving the other Yeezus tracks. – zmbro (talk) 00:34, 22 June 2019 (UTC)
Actually, it's fine I'm not going to work on "Hold My Liquor" after all. You can take control of it now as I'm more interested in reviews as of current. --Kyle Peake (talk) 08:04, 22 June 2019 (UTC)
Kyle Peake Alright all good. Enjoying reviewing! – zmbro (talk) 15:29, 22 June 2019 (UTC)
Do you think you could get round to reviewing this now as it's in the top 5 nominees and you have the most understanding of the content's organization in sections? --Kyle Peake (talk) 21:11, 7 September 2019 (UTC)
As I've said before, I'm going to let someone else take care of it. Even when I do have free time to edit, I just don't have the will power to undergo a GA review; it'll probably be quite a while before I do another one. I'm sorry. – zmbro (talk) 03:21, 10 September 2019 (UTC)

"Blood on the Leaves"

You may want to re-check this article as the Medium ref was deleted by another user. Edit: The same user, known as Ascribe4, has now removed a great detail from "Hold My Liquor" and "Black Skinhead". I don't see the reasoning to remove a lot of it, take a look and tell me and/or them what you think. In my opinion, though the user's edits are probably good faith, they are removing too much. --Kyle Peake (talk) 14:45, 23 June 2019 (UTC)

Kyle Peake Thanks for notifying me. Their edit says they only removed Medium, which is entirely false cuz he/she removed the entire release section, the image, and much more. It's fine if Medium can't be used but that doesn't give you the right to remove entire sections. Idk who they think they are but they have really caused lots of problems for both of us. I might bring it up on their talk page but I haven't decided yet. – zmbro (talk) 19:21, 23 June 2019 (UTC)
Yeah they keep on doing that, I have called the user out for "reckless" editing on their talk page before, read it if you want to see what I mean. Also, a large amount was removed from "Hold My Liquor" with no explanation at all. --Kyle Peake (talk) 19:22, 23 June 2019 (UTC)
Kyle Peake I just checked and yeah they did. They changed the genre to just "house", which is false. They also gave "New Slaves" a close paraphrasing tag. Like really, who do they did they are? They think they're some kind of Kanye genius that knows everything about him? – zmbro (talk) 19:27, 23 June 2019 (UTC)
And you should check out "Black Skinhead", according to Ascribe4 my heavy description meets WP:IDONTLIKEIT??? --Kyle Peake (talk) 19:28, 23 June 2019 (UTC)
To me they are violating WP:IDONTLIKEIT. They need to stop acting like they know everything. – zmbro (talk) 19:45, 23 June 2019 (UTC)
That's kind of ironic but true. Do you think you could review "I Am a God" as you didn't contribute significantly to it if you compare your additions to the entire article so are a fit reviewer? --Kyle Peake (talk) 20:51, 23 June 2019 (UTC)

Points

1. You never responded about "I Am a God", will you do a review for it sometime possibly? 2. Though Yeezus is on its way to be a good topic, I would like to see West's albums reach that status again. I am thinking of scheduling TLOP to be promoted by me within the upcoming months. Kyle Peake (talk) 20:41, 25 June 2019 (UTC)

Sorry completely forgot. I'm gonna take a break from reviewing West-related stuff for a while, gotten burned out. The problem with TLOP is its sources. Many websites are treated like book sources, when they shouldn't be; they should all be under the same ref section. Also, many of them were West's tweets that were never archived; because he has cleared his Twitter account multiple times since 2016, all those tweets are now inaccessible. That being said, idk how it'll get up to GA status at this point imo. Still needs a lot of work (and that's just refs alone, I haven't even paid attention to the actual writing). But it might be do-able. Are you planning on doing Ye and Kids See Ghosts as well? – zmbro (talk) 21:44, 25 June 2019 (UTC)
Yeah I may have those albums on my sights too. But the tweets can likely be found referenced by secondary sources, as West is a huge caliber celeb. Kyle Peake (talk) 06:08, 27 June 2019 (UTC)
I'm sure Twitter has an archive that has every tweet so hopefully you should be able to refine them. – zmbro (talk) 15:54, 27 June 2019 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of songs recorded by Queen, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page CBS Records (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 15:03, 29 June 2019 (UTC)

I know you won't be reviewing it, but I have nominated this article for GA status and thought you'd be interested to see the level of sourcing I've given it. --Kyle Peake (talk) 16:14, 5 July 2019 (UTC)

You know I'd like to actually say thanks, even though with my more recent GAs I haven't been involved with you, you're heavily responsible for my success. Thank you for mentoring me, I have learnt much from you on Wiki. --Kyle Peake (talk) 20:14, 9 July 2019 (UTC)
Kyle Peake Thanks very much for your kind words and you're very welcome. I've learned a lot from other editors as well, and I really enjoyed how much respect you have toward editing and with Kanye West especially. You've done a really great job expanding West's articles (amazing job on "Touch the Sky" btw) and thanks for reviewing "Achilles Last Stand" (love that song). I wish you the best of luck with all your future projects and any future collaborations between us two as well. Happy I could be a great help to you :-) – zmbro (talk) 21:55, 9 July 2019 (UTC)
Could you do the date formatting on "Touch the Sky" as I'm not familiar with the tool please? Thanks about that actually, I think you can tell I'm prepping it for GAN. --Kyle Peake (talk) 20:20, 12 July 2019 (UTC)
Kyle Peake Done. It's a script that you add to your common.js file. I found it over at WP:US; it's this one. I'd suggest adding it because it's really useful. I'd also suggest taking some time to check out what scripts are offered as I have 9 currently and they're all really helpful and make things easier, especially the MOS:DASH script. – zmbro (talk) 01:50, 13 July 2019 (UTC)
Ta, it's on here but we had a discussion before related to West's albums and songs that are GAs. If "Touch the Sky" passes which I have faith in happening, then only Graduation and Kids See Ghosts will not have any accompanying GAs. Look on my user page to see future plans as of current though. Kyle Peake (talk) 11:15, 13 July 2019 (UTC)
Kyle Peake You should be able to bring Kids See Ghosts up to GA without too many problems, but as we've discussed earlier, TLoP will take some time. I'm currently working on more lists to bring up to FL. – zmbro (talk) 17:07, 13 July 2019 (UTC)

Your GA nomination of Guilt Trip (song)

Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article Guilt Trip (song) you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of Yashthepunisher -- Yashthepunisher (talk) 14:21, 19 July 2019 (UTC)

Kids See Ghosts

Even though I have been expanding this article heavily as you're aware, I have a question right now on something that is confusing me. For the bit in release and promotion about West's tweet, should I use [sic] and reword it as he may have put Kids See Ghost as a typo or keep as it is? --Kyle Peake (talk) 16:51, 19 July 2019 (UTC)

Kyle Peake Actually a great point. I'd personally reword as we both clearly know what he meant. – zmbro (talk) 14:45, 20 July 2019 (UTC)

Your GA nomination of Guilt Trip (song)

The article Guilt Trip (song) you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:Guilt Trip (song) for comments about the article. Well done! If the article has not already been on the main page as an "In the news" or "Did you know" item, you can nominate it to appear in Did you know. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of Yashthepunisher -- Yashthepunisher (talk) 15:22, 20 July 2019 (UTC)

TFL notification

Hi, Zmbro. I'm just posting to let you know that List of songs recorded by Radiohead – a list that you have been heavily involved with – has been chosen to appear on the Main Page as Today's featured list for August 19. The TFL blurb can be seen here. If you have any thoughts on the selection, please post them on my talk page or at TFL talk. Regards, Giants2008 (Talk) 01:22, 25 July 2019 (UTC)

"Blood on the Leaves" genres

The source previously used for industrial rap has been since removed, I would suggest trying to find a different one as the song obviously does have industrial elements. --Kyle Peake (talk) 22:13, 28 July 2019 (UTC)

Kids See Ghosts GA

I have now nominated the article for GA status, taken it all the way from this. Thought you'd be interested as we discussed me working on the album before. --Kyle Peake (talk) 15:13, 14 August 2019 (UTC)

Kyle Peake Congrats on nominating it. Definitely one of my favs. Unfortunately, I've been way too busy irl to edit much, let alone perform a GA review. Other than the occasional edit, I've only been able to really deep dive into editing once this entire month, so I don't think I'll be able to help you much. My apologies but I wish you the best of luck with it. Great job and keep up the good work. – zmbro (talk) 17:10, 14 August 2019 (UTC)
It's fine, I just though I'd notify you since despite not reviewing I can tell it's something you have interest in. I think you'd have interest to see my Grammy references on "Ultralight Beam" and The Life of Pablo, which are reminiscent of MBDTF. --Kyle Peake (talk) 10:20, 15 August 2019 (UTC)
About "Hold My Liquor", could you find a source that references West "rapping" his verse or already use the term if a ref has mentioned him rapping since then you can add industrial hip hop as rapping works as a source for hip hop?? --Kyle Peake (talk) 20:41, 31 August 2019 (UTC)
Kyle Peake I got into a discussion about its genre with another editor over at its talk page. I've honestly struggled a lot with its genre, as I haven't found many sources that specifically discuss its genre, let alone the song itself. I can keep checking but I'm probably going to work on other projects for the time being as it'll probably be a while before someone picks it up for review anyway. And good job on The Life of Pablo, sources are looking much better. – zmbro (talk) 17:06, 1 September 2019 (UTC)

Ah....

Thanks for catching all those. It's been such a massive List to work on...was getting overwhelmed at the moment. Shearonink (talk) 01:04, 8 September 2019 (UTC)
I've run into an issue, I don't know why, but I think it's an edit conflict or something, I might have continued to use an old version from yesterday...many of the archive-urls you added seem to be missing from the edit-window/version of List of cyclists with a cycling-related death that I am working on right now - might be my cache? I dunno... Anyway, I am going to have to save my present version with only some of the archive-urls restored. Wanted you to know that I am restoring all of them but I need to take a break (personal life stuff) but I will restore all of the archived links by tonight. Appreciate all your help and didn't want you to think I was reverting your greatly-appreciated archived-changes. Thanks, Shearonink (talk) 17:43, 8 September 2019 (UTC)
Shearonink All good. Always happy to help others out, especially when there are much less stressful methods of getting things done. – zmbro (talk) 17:45, 8 September 2019 (UTC)
You've been a lifesaver. This is the first and probably only time I'll attempt taking a List through FLC - there's so much to do and I've been the only one working on it(except for you). I have to go for a bit, could you please run that archiving tool in the interim, to get all the missing archive-urls back in? I'll come back this evening and do any other cleaning/tidyling up. Thanks, Shearonink (talk) 17:49, 8 September 2019 (UTC)
Shearonink Yep no problem. I'll also go ahead and leave some actual comments for ya. – zmbro (talk) 17:50, 8 September 2019 (UTC)
TYVM, greatly appreciated. Shearonink (talk) 19:31, 8 September 2019 (UTC)

TLOP

Took a while, but I have now brought The Life of Pablo from this to a GAN. Though I am aware you will not review, thought I'd inform you incase you wish to offer thoughts in response to how hard I'm working on West's articles! --Kyle Peake (talk) 15:46, 23 September 2019 (UTC)

Kyle Peake Huge props to you for stepping up and doing that. Hope the references weren't too much of a hassle, especially his tweets, many of which were unarchived and are now unobtainable. Great job on KSG as well, definitely one of my favs. What shocks me about TLoP is how big the article is (almost 180k bytes), but I guess it is what it is. What's next on your list, Ye? – zmbro (talk) 19:59, 23 September 2019 (UTC)
That will be sometime this year, next I'll probably do "Ghost Town". Ye will be followed by Jesus Is King which Nice4What has agreed to work on for GAN in the future. --Kyle Peake (talk) 20:30, 23 September 2019 (UTC)
Kyle Peake Sweet, looking forward to Jesus Is King, or whatever he might change it too. – zmbro (talk) 00:28, 24 September 2019 (UTC)
Kids See Ghosts is being GA reviewed right now, can't wait!!! --Kyle Peake (talk) 04:47, 24 September 2019 (UTC)

List of songs recorded by the Beatles images

Hello. I’ve got no particular issue with the images being there in principle. The problem is, on mobile safari at least (checked from several devices), the pictures float all the way off to the right with nothing on the left, leaving a huge gap between the contents\key and the table. It really wants to go text, inset image, inset image, contents, key, table. But that doesn’t work yet either because the text is short enough that the images still float off and leave a gap. If you’re updating it to add more detail, could I perhaps move the images above the contents table, then they’ll inset happily with the new text when it arrives, and not look too much different until it does? I am personally not that bothered about it, but my son, who’s autistic and obsessed with the Beatles, gets really cross about the floating images and the gap. It would be good if we could sort it out somehow. - Kurisumasen (talk) 17:53, 1 November 2019 (UTC)

Kurisumasen Yeah I see what you're saying, I'm seeing it on my iPad as well. The weird thing is, other song lists I've written that have pictures, such as List of songs recorded by Led Zeppelin and List of songs recorded by Coldplay don't do that (at least for me). That's so weird, because I haven't changed one thing from those other lists. I thought it was perhaps because the images were "upright" and not a specific pix size, so I tried that but it's still placing them above. It does the same thing with List of songs recorded by Paul McCartney as well. That's so weird. I think it's doing that because the table is too big. Looking at my other lists, tables with 5 columns or less can fit the images side-by-side while tables that have 6 columns, like the Beatles, must be too big for a mobile screen. I'll see what else can be done. – zmbro (talk) 23:12, 1 November 2019 (UTC)
zmbro Thanks. Whatever you can do will be appreciated. I think it will help if I tell him it’s being worked on, too. It wouldn’t bother him if he didn’t love the page! - Kurisumasen (talk) 14:32, 2 November 2019 (UTC)
Kurisumasen I removed Spector and moved Martin up above the table after adding some extra things. Not sure if he will stay there but it's the best I can do for now. Hope that helps. – zmbro (talk) 00:07, 10 November 2019 (UTC)
zmbro Thank you so much! – Kurisumasen (talk) 16:11, 2 December 2019 (UTC)

Ultralight Beam

Hello:

The copy edit you requested from the Guild of Copy Editors of the article "Ultralight Beam" has been completed.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

A suggestion - if you can find the name of the studio mentioned in the Recording section (is it Larrabee Studios, mentioned in the credits?) that would be a useful clarification. It's not named in the interview cited.

Best of luck with the FAN.

Regards,

Twofingered Typist (talk) 14:26, 4 November 2019 (UTC)

Twofingered Typist I'll be sure to do that. Thank you so much! :-) – zmbro (talk) 01:06, 5 November 2019 (UTC)

GA review

Do you think you could do a review of one of the song articles I've nominated as I've noticed you are more active recently? --Kyle Peake (talk) 08:08, 18 November 2019 (UTC)

Kyle Peake Which ones do you currently have nominated? – zmbro (talk) 16:08, 18 November 2019 (UTC)
"Yikes", "ITAKY" and "Touch The Sky", though would only expect you to review one of the former two as TTS is a very large article. --Kyle Peake (talk) 16:13, 18 November 2019 (UTC)
Kyle Peake I still want to primarily work on non-KW articles/lists, especially finish the Beatles' song list now that I have the Fab Four solo. But next time I have time I'll check some of those out and lyk. Btw I never got the chance to ask you but what was your opinion on Jesus Is King? I personally didn't care for it other than "Follow God", which is a great song that's too damn short. – zmbro (talk) 23:23, 18 November 2019 (UTC)
I respect your opinion as the album is somewhat polarizing, but I personally felt that the Christian theme was a breath of fresh water. "Follow God" is one of my favourites though and what does lyk mean? --Kyle Peake (talk) 11:38, 19 November 2019 (UTC)
Kyle Peake Sorry that means "let you know". My bad. Yeah at first listen I didn't really care for it, but some of it has grown on me; overall definitely not one of my favs, but "Follow God" is so fire :-) – zmbro (talk) 18:35, 19 November 2019 (UTC)

Request for Review

Hi there, I would appreciate your comments at my FLC List of India national football team hat-tricks and List of highest individual scores in ODIs. And would love to review if you have any GAN, FA or FLC. Thank you. Dey subrata (talk) 03:36, 29 November 2019 (UTC)

Dey subrata Sure I'll check those out right now. I currently have an FLC, List of songs recorded by the Beatles and 2 GANs, "Hold My Liquor" and "Blood on the Leaves", both songs by Kanye West. I'd greatly appreciate comments at my FLC and if you wanted to review one of my GANs I'd appreciate that too but if not it's no big deal at all. Thanks very much! – zmbro (talk) 02:39, 30 November 2019 (UTC)
Sure, for FLC I will check it in the evening and put comments there. And for GAN may be tommorrow. Dey subrata (talk) 04:00, 30 November 2019 (UTC)

david bowie....i remember he sang "mac the knife", which album was it ?

2001:8003:2356:A700:69B6:92E4:46D2:5B6B (talk) 17:54, 1 December 2019 (UTC)

"Mack the Knife" was written by Kurt Weill and Bertolt Brecht in 1928. It was made famous in the US and UK by Bobby Darin. I don't know where you got that but I can't find anything online about Bowie ever recording that song. – zmbro (talk) 18:06, 1 December 2019 (UTC)
Are you thinking of “Alabama Song”, also by Brecht, which Bowie covered and played live a few times? I saw him do it on the Heathen Tour so I can vouch for that. – Kurisumasen (talk) 16:20, 2 December 2019 (UTC)
They must be, because Bowie never recorded "Mack the Knife". – zmbro (talk) 18:37, 3 December 2019 (UTC)

Traveling Wilburys

We should outline what makes a Traveling Wilburys song a collaboration, because according to your listings so far, tracks that are co-written or covers of other Wilburys that another one plays on should count, but you deleted some of my additions even though these credits were instated. It would be different in the case of a song like "Stay With Me" by Sam Smith in which Petty & Lynne are both credited as writers, which would not count, but I think a song like "Christmas Time (Is Here Again)" Which was originally written by Harrison and features Lynne playing on it should count. Get back to me

-Matt Brinsdon

I'm sorry but I'm not sure what you're talking about. I don't edit anything Traveling Wilburys-related that much. Are you confusing me with User:JG66? – zmbro (talk) 18:36, 3 December 2019 (UTC)

Sathi Leelavathi

Hi, since you commented at Wikipedia:Peer review/Arjun Sarja filmography/archive1, I was wondering if you'd do the same at Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Sathi Leelavathi (1936 film)/archive1. It needs more reviewers to avoid being archived, and the consensus is favourable so far. --Kailash29792 (talk) 03:18, 22 December 2019 (UTC)
