The article Rico Rossi has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Rob Pallin, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Las Vegas Aces. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Kyle Schempp requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. --Non-Dropframe talk 05:02, 14 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Adam Chapie

[edit]

The article Adam Chapie has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Drastically fails WP:GNG as well as WP:NHOCKEY. Also is linked to many incorrect teams and leagues.

Speedy deletion nomination of Elijah Macon

Hello Zamekrizeni,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Elijah Macon for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

Article formatting and categories

[edit]

Hello - Thank you for creating basketball articles. When doing so, could you please try to conform to consensus formats? An example is that high schools are added this way: [[St. Patrick High School (New Jersey)|St. Patrick]] as opposed to showing the words "high school" at the end. Also, player categories (such as "Kentucky Wildcats men's basketball players") are not added until the player appears in a regular-season or playoff game for the team. Thanks. You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Braydon Hobbs. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Rikster2 (talk) 21:39, 22 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Stop editing the Braydon Hobbs article. I have reported the activity between you and OnkelCharlie at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring. I did not focus the report on you specifically as I think you have at least tried to communicate, but the admin who handles it may disagree and review your behavior. At the end of the day, you should not be reverting each others' edits for days on end no matter who is right (see Wikipedia:3RR). Let the admins do their job and give the article a rest. Thanks. Rikster2 (talk) 13:27, 23 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring, as you did at Braydon Hobbs. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.  CambridgeBayWeather, Uqaqtuq (talk), Sunasuttuq 21:59, 23 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Mark Daigneault (basketball coach), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Deletion discussion about Lindell Wigginton

[edit]

Hello, Zamekrizeni,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Lindell Wigginton should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Lindell Wigginton .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks,

Notice

The article Gerry Besselink has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Does not meet either WP:GNG or WP:NBASKET.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Please read the above policy before editing Paolo Banchero again. If Banchero was primarily known for playing on the Italian national team, that would be one thing, but he's not. He's primarily known for his American career.OhNoitsJamie Talk 00:00, 25 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Partial block from Johan Roijakkers

[edit]
Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing Johan Roijakkers for a period of one week for violating the 3 revert rule. You two need to resolve the dispute on the article talk page. If at an impasse, use a dispute resolution request, like an WP:RFC or WP:RSN (WP:DRN not recommended). But you two cannot continue to flood the revision history by violating the 3RR bright line edit warring rule (by quite a bit as it happens). Ping me here if you have any question concerning this partial block (not on my talk page, please). Thank you. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  El_C 18:20, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about Michael Peters (media executive)

[edit]

Hello Zamekrizeni, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Michael Peters (media executive), should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Michael Peters (media executive).

Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Pilaz}}. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!
