Any chance you could take a look at this again: Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Sherlock4000? Its all gotten very interesting with a new user admitting a COI and pushing the exact same edits that the previously found socks were making. This new user also was created just after the initial blocks. I believe this is sufficient evidence to suspect this new user is the same as the old. DaltonCastle (talk) 23:46, 27 July 2015 (UTC)
- I've added CU results to the case page - it's a confirmed sock of a group that is suspected, but not technically confirmed, as Sherlock4000. Yunshui 雲水 08:14, 28 July 2015 (UTC)
Recreation and Unsalt of Draft:Shekhar Chatterjee
I am referring to an earlier article that was deleted post AFD Discussion 5 months back. I was blocked for disruptive editing (non-intentionally and I also apologized for the same) and hence I opened a new account BlueBuzz to restart in a new way but I was blocked again as self-admitted sock. When trying to create the article in a more better way in draft space with many new sources that have come up post AFD Discussion, I found myself unable to create the Draft for the article in Draft Space. I would request you to unsalt the draft space at the least so that I can create the article and when it's suitable it can be moved to main space on meeting all policies and guidelines of Wikipedia and I also promise to contribute to this community in the best possible way. I am already addicted to this community so can't help it. SanjoyChatterjee1 (talk) 17:25, 26 July 2015 (UTC) [1] [2] [3]

- So given that your original block is still active, and that the last time you tried to evade the block by creating a new account it was blocked, what made you think this time would be any different? Blocked as a self-confessed sock of User:Sanjoy64. Until you convince an administrator to lift the block on your original account (which has just been made more unlikely thanks to this latest piece of block evasion), you, the person at the keyboard, are not allowed to edit Wikipedia. - I am trying my best to convince you guys at my best. I don't know why you guys are not willing to give me atleast one chance. My other accounts have contributed to Wikipedia in a very positive way. I do not work on disrupting this project. If I am given a change I will surely be a very good contributor and editor. - All you are convincing us of at the moment is that you are willing to engage in sockpuppetry and block evasion to try and reinsert a legitimately deleted article with which you have a conflict of interest. Since your talkpage access is also revoked, you currently have two routes of appeal; UTRS and BASC. As a member of both those groups, I can safely tell you that any appeal will currently be looked on unfavourably due to your repeated violations of the multiple accounts policy to evade your block. The Standard Offer is likely to be the only avenue open to you at this point. Yunshui 雲水 09:27, 27 July 2015 (UTC)

currently the message above) - if you edit again, via an IP or an account, the clock goes back to zero. Yunshui 雲水 12:02, 28 July 2015 (UTC)- Wow, you're really not getting this, are you? Apparently it will be necessary to block your new IP address. Yunshui 雲水 12:32, 28 July 2015 (UTC)
Parramatta Eels
Hi Yunshui. I saw that you hid two recent edits made to Parramatta Eels by 203.160.9.73 because they were "purely disruptive". Can you take a look at [1] and [2] and decide if they should be hidden as well. The second of the two is obviously derogatory while the first one seems to be a snarky attempt to insert "information" about this woman into the article. Since the two accounts were created yesterday seemingly just to keep trying to add information about this woman to the article, they might be connected to 203.160.9.73 per WP:DUCK. - Marchjuly (talk) 01:34, 28 July 2015 (UTC)
- Yes indeed they should. I've also slapped a silverlock on the page for a bit, and blocked the account. Cheers for flagging that. Yunshui 雲水 08:06, 28 July 2015 (UTC)
- Thank you for taking another look. - Marchjuly (talk) 22:04, 28 July 2015 (UTC)
Hi Yunshui! Thank you for reviewing my draft on Teahouse. As you suggested, I created a new draft in my own sandbox (rather than the public one) and have found new words/sentences to avoid the copyright issue. Is there any other way I can improve my article? Please let me know! Sjane214 (talk) 15:37, 28 July 2015 (UTC)
- Changing a word here and there is not sufficient; all of the text you added was once again very clearly ripped straight from the CHI website. You cannot do this. If you intend to write an article about this company (and I re-iterate that if you work for them, you should not be doing so), you need to write the while thing, from scratch, entirely in your own words. If you add copyrighted material to Wikipedia again, you are likely to be blocked from editing. Yunshui 雲水 21:56, 28 July 2015 (UTC)
Hi Yunshui,
Thank you for answering my question on Teahouse. I have created a new draft and re-written the entire draft. IF you have time, can you please skim my draft to check for copyright violations?
Thank you! Sjane214 (talk) 14:43, 29 July 2015 (UTC)
- You have done exactly the same thing again. Some examples:
Your text: The Center for Healthcare Innovation (CHI) is a national, independent, non-profit, research, and educational institute[1] that aids patients and providers in increasing their knowledge and understanding...
From [3]: The Center for Healthcare Innovation (CHI) is an independent, 501(c)(3) non-profit research and educational institute that helps patients and providers increase their knowledge and understanding ...Your text: The Diversity, Inclusion, & Life Sciences Symposium is an annual symposium with collaboration between life sciences and diverse communities
From [4]: The Diversity, Inclusion, & Life Sciences Symposium is an annual, interactive, collaborative symposium for life sciences ... and diverse communitiesYour text: WIHLS is dedicated to advancing women in the healthcare and life science industries
From [5]: WIHLS is committed to advancing women in the healthcare and life science industries.
- Even in instances where the text has been reasonably altered, it is still clearly based on the original websites. I am deleting the page again, and, per my warning above, blocking your account for repeated copyright violations.
- (Even if copyright violations were not an issue, the text is highly promotional, the tone is not neutral, there are many peacock terms and the sources are not sufficiently independent. This is hardly surprising given that it has been extensively copied from non-neutral sources. If this were original text, it would still be declined for these reasons.) @Yunshui: I just realized my user rights have changed. In as much as I am saddened by your decision, I still respect. I have stop creating new articles and I am awaiting the closure of the CCI before proceeding. I was hoping this decision could have been taken after the CCI process had been closed. Nonetheless I still respect your decision.Regards--Rberchie (talk) 11:32, 28 July 2015 (UTC)
- There's no actual effect on you from this userright adjustment - you can still create articles and edit in exactly the same way as before, the only change is that articles you create will no longer bypass the New Pages feed. You won't notice any difference. Yunshui 雲水 11:41, 28 July 2015 (UTC)

DYK for Ludovic Savatier
On 4 August 2015, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Ludovic Savatier, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that French botanist Ludovic Savatier conducted a systematic study of venereal disease among sailors and prostitutes at the port in Yokosuka? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Ludovic Savatier. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, live views, daily totals), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. |

Comoé Research Station wikipedia Page
Hi Yunshui,
Since you were so helpful to me during my work on the page about Megaponera, I was hoping if you could tell me if its ok to create a page about the Comoé National Park Research Station. I personally dont have any conflict of interest and since its a non-profit research institution I dont believe it brakes any rules to create a page for it. Also since its one of the most modern african field research stations (having cost roughly 10 million € for its construction) I believe it also to be relevant enough to warrant an own page. I have already started creating a rough overview of the page in my sandbox and if I get your ok I would invest more time in it to make it look better. If you want to know more about the research station you can visit the Homepage: http://www.biozentrum.uni-wuerzburg.de/comoe_research_station/startseite/
Kind regards, --ETF89 (talk) 15:55, 22 July 2015 (UTC)
- Hi ETF89, nice to hear from you. Ultimately, what matters here is sources - have several reliable independent sources written extensively about the research station (specifically the station, not the park)? A brief Google search suggests not, which would indicate that it's not suitable for a standalone article. There's no reason not to include at least some of the information in the article about Comoé National Park (which is in dire need of expansion), but it would need to be trimmed to as not to unbalance that page. Of course, if there are some sources available which I haven't found (which is entirely possible, I only ran a very cursory search) then you could go ahead with a separate article. Yunshui 雲水 07:54, 23 July 2015 (UTC)
- Hi Yunshui, you are right there is very little information about it when searching in english but there are some articles in german, since its ultimately a german research station. There is a 3 page Newspaper article (in one of the top german newspapers "die Zeit" similar to "the Times" in the UK), printed in march 2015 and also available Online specifically about the research station, its history, its struggles during the civil war and the reconstruction. There is one in the News section of the University of Würzburg Link, and a paragraph on the Homepage of WASCAL, an EU funded trans disciplinary multi million € project focused in West Africa, Link. Lastly I found one article in english that talks about the construction of the solar station at the research station, although that one would be of minor importance Link and also ofcourse the Homepage of the station itself as I posted before. The newsarticle in particular holds all the important information on its history and struggles while the Wascal article talks about its research cooperations. Ofcourse, since I do a lot of research at the station (I am currently writing to you from that very same place) I also know most of this through personal experience and personal communication with the director and workers of the station (is personal communication an acceptable citation format on wiki?).
- ps. I agree the Comoé National Park site needs a lot of work and indeed it is number 2 on my list of To do projects on Wiki (right after the station), hopefully I will find the time to tackle it over the next couple of months. I was planning to include a small subsection within the park article as well, although if you still think that there are not enough references to go on for a small article about the station I will leave it be.
- Thanks for the fast reply, --ETF89 (talk) 22:10, 23 July 2015 (UTC)
- My German is about as good as my Swahili (I know about five words in either language), but what you've provided above would seem to be sufficient to demonstrate notability. I'd say go for it. Unfortunately personal knowledge of a subject is not an acceptable source on Wikipedia (you wouldn't believe how many OTRS requests follow the formula, "Your article says this, but I was there, and it was more like this...", and we have to explain sourcing every single time...) - you will need to restrict yourself to the information you can derive from the sources. It might also be a good idea to familiarise yourself with the guidelines at WP:COI, if you haven't already; one needs to exercise extreme care when writing about something you have a lot of personal knowledge about. I don't doubt your ability to comply with the guidelines, but it's still worth checking them out. Yunshui 雲水 07:45, 24 July 2015 (UTC)
- Hi Yunshui, thanks again for your help. So I checked out the guidelines and finished the article, after searching for a bit I found a fair number of references I think. The article is now up under Comoé National Park Research Station and I was thinking about nominating it for a DYK. What do you think? --ETF89 (talk) 16:05, 2 August 2015 (UTC)
- @ETF89: Wow, looks good. It seems to tick all the necessary boxes for DYK at first glance, so I'd say go for it. Nice work - again. Yunshui 雲水 14:56, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
- Actually, I've just taken a second look and some of the language is a weensy bit non-neutral; you might want to take a second run at the bits which talk about how important and thriving the place is. Terry Pratchett once said, "Use adjectives as though each one costs you a toe," which is good advice on Wikiepdia. Yunshui 雲水 14:59, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
- Good advice for Wikipedia although im suprised to hear it from such a famous fantasy writer (love his books). I think I know which sections you mean and I do agree (I felt uncomfortable writing the part about WASCAL myself to be honest) and tried to change the language to a more neutral tone. The First sentence also leaves me a bit uncomfortable but to be honest I really dont know how to change it without loosing information (and it is in fact factual). I have nominated it for DYK, which also gives me a bit of a deadline (and hopefully the pressure I need) to overhaul the Comoé National Park article since I suppose that if one looks at the station they also want to know about the park. ETF89 (talk) 14:21, 4 August 2015 (UTC)
- As a rule, the lead section of the article (the bit before the table of contents) is supposed to summarise the rest of the article; it shouldn't introduce facts or sources which aren't already represented. For a good example (shameless plug here) see Hu Zhengyan, which I just took to Featured status - see how the lead is basically a really short version of the article itself? You might be better off moving the information in the lead of the Comoé National Park Research Station page down to the article body (you can merge most of it with the Research Co-operation section, and just call that section "Research") and rewriting the lead completely. As regards the first sentence, rephrase "thrived" and I think it would probably pass muster; perhaps something like The Comoé National Park Research Station, located in the Comoé National Park, Côte d'Ivoire, was founded by Prof. Linsenmair in 1989/90 and has since become one of the most modern field stations in Africa.. Mention the partnerships and amenities in the article body instead. Yunshui 雲水 14:32, 4 August 2015 (UTC)
- Done, thanks again. I will let you know when the article about the park is finished (since ideally I would like to make it good enough to be considered a good article at first and potentially eventually featured, althouth that will take some time I suppose). --ETF89 (talk) 08:46, 5 August 2015 (UTC)
- Looking good. I've made a couple of minor tweaks to bring it closer in line with Wikipedia's style guidelines, but generally it's looking much better. I'm impressed! Yunshui 雲水 08:59, 5 August 2015 (UTC)

Migosyrn and socks
Hi Yunshui, we may not be able to block this IP range, but I bet I could come up with a filter that would stop a lot of it. Would you email me the range please? Thanks, NawlinWiki (talk) 17:54, 4 August 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks! Those are actually both blockable ranges, with the format ##.##.##.##/16. That covers all IPs from ##.##.0.0 to ##.##.255.255, and they've both been blocked for 2 weeks, which seems to have helped a lot. There were 2 more socks this morning that apparently wasn't in that range, User:Migaslegia and User:Migastehlulz. Would you CU those for me? Thanks! NawlinWiki (talk) 16:19, 5 August 2015 (UTC)

Bob Sharp page -- correction re: reference & question about how to reference a "statement from"
Dear Yun Shui,
This to advise you that in the earlier email I sent, I used the wrong reference info. The correct footnote was #2, not #1.
Anyway, since I have no way of verifying the statement about Newman's supposed "refusal" to join the Bob Sharp Racing team in 1972, I do have both Bob's statement to the contrary and substantiation of Paul's relationship in the early 1970's from the book "Lime Rock Park" by Rich Taylor. For now, I will leave the original reference to the PLN bio book, and add both the Lime Rock book AND the statement from Bob, to corroborate this info.
But I have not been able to locate an example of a reference to a "conversation with," or "interview," or "statement by," etc.; can you direct me to a sample ref that I could use?? So far, all I've found is: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Reflist

Controversial edits!?
Greetings Yunshui after long time, I some how came to this article here, seems that the person has multiple articles negative once too, what would be best thing to do in such situtation ?, even i undid my edits (may be it was too negative) Shrikanthv (talk) 08:16, 7 August 2015 (UTC)
- Wow, that's just awful. If the AFD wasn't in place I'd be tempted to deep-six it under G11. It needs to be re-written almost completely from scratch. I'm going to give it a quick once-over to remove the worst of the promotional stuff; if you'd like to step in and lend a hand with sourcing etc. after that, please do! Yunshui 雲水 08:38, 7 August 2015 (UTC)
- @Shrikanthv: I'd be wary of including the tax evasion allegations; I considered including them but under WP:BLPCRIME I deemed it inappropriate; there's no evidence that a conviction was ever secured. Yunshui 雲水 09:51, 7 August 2015 (UTC)

Removal of phone number
Hi,I found vandalism on Srimanthudu by IP address : 117.195.251.238 ... although I have reverted it. The content he added was a phone number. So it may need to be removed from the history as well. Please check. Thanks! Peppy Paneer (talk) 07:59, 9 August 2015 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) @Peppy Paneer: I revdel'ed the two edits. It would be better making a request for oversight instead of contacting a specific oversighter. The contact form sends the request to all available oversighters. I made a request to suppress the edits for you. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 08:05, 9 August 2015 (UTC)
- @Gogo Dodo:, I found one of the same earlier too and posted in the Wikipedia:Teahouse. Yunshui corrected it. And this time I thought its better to post here than at Wikipedia:Teahouse for oversight. Anyways...I just read on request for oversight that this request should not be posted on talk page of an oversighter...my bad...will take care of the same from next time. Thank you Peppy Paneer (talk) 08:20, 9 August 2015 (UTC)
- Looks like it's been taken care of already. Gogo Dodo is correct; emailing oversight-en-wpwikipedia.org is the best approach to this sort of thing. Yunshui 雲水 08:06, 10 August 2015 (UTC)

[[File:name of file]]
, although it's a bit more complicated than that - have a read of User:Yunshui/Images for beginners for a slightly more comprehensive explanation! Yunshui 雲水 08:06, 10 August 2015 (UTC)- Yunshui, could I suggest that you move your excellent intro to images into Wikipedia space, then we could all find it! - I have thought about moving that essay (and the others in that series) into project space, but I wrote them for adoptees back when I was an active adopter so they're fairly informal and discursive, even silly in places. There does seem to me to be a gap in the market for a one-page readable guide that covers Commons, uploading, and insertion into articles in one place: Noyster (talk), 10:26, 10 August 2015 (UTC)
DYK?
You kindly reviewed Hermann Eggert for DYK and expressed hope about a yellow "new message" greeting upon my return, which came true, for three articles yesterday and a birthday cantata today, related to two birthdays, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 09:26, 10 August 2015 (UTC)
- Not the one I was expecting, granted (I assumed Eggert would have been promoted by now) but nice work, nevertheless. Yunshui 雲水 09:29, 10 August 2015 (UTC)
- I was holding up Eggert in a way, requesting the pictured one today, which pushed another worthy image to later. Sometimes it takes weeks from approval to appearing, but no rush ;) - Good news from the infoboxes topic: did you know that all operas by Verdi and all but one by Wagner have one now? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:40, 10 August 2015 (UTC)
- That's only good news for those that like infoboxes... Yunshui 雲水 11:46, 10 August 2015 (UTC)

Your GA nomination of Sakakibara Kenkichi
Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article Sakakibara Kenkichi you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of Wugapodes -- Wugapodes (talk) 21:41, 10 August 2015 (UTC)

- It needs to be gutted and rewritten, but I really can't muster the enthusiasm for dealing with yet another shoddy promotional article right now. I've tagged it for the relevant WikiProject to deal with. Yunshui 雲水 08:44, 11 August 2015 (UTC)
Socking
Hello. Just to let you know that this user whose unblock request you declined has been involved in socking in the same article. I request you to block the sock. — LeoFrank Talk 13:35, 11 August 2015 (UTC)

Help needed to move a page
Hi,
I am trying to move COA Ontario to Condo Owners Association which is the official name of this organization. The latter was created as a redirect to Homeowner association which I believe is incorrect mainily because all the words in Condo Owners Association are capitalized. The former was created by what appears to be an inexperienced editor who tired to create it under the correct name, but was stymied.
The article has now been nominated for deletion, but is not getting the right kind of exposure because no one recognizes the name of the org.
Thanks in advance. Ottawahitech (talk) 19:48, 10 August 2015 (UTC)
- While I'm certainly not opposed to the idea of moving the page, I'm wary of doing so while there's an active AFD discussion going on; such moves are generally seen as disruptive. Can I suggest, instead, that you comment at the AFD to the effect that the page is at the wrong title, and suggest that contributors search for Condo Owners Association when doing their checks? When the AFD is concluded, I'd be happy to shift it to the correct title for you. Yunshui 雲水 07:08, 11 August 2015 (UTC)
- But is it a good idea to hold an wp:AfD that only a couple of (involved?) editors participate in because the name of the article is misleading? Ottawahitech (talk) 00:28, 12 August 2015 (UTC)

You recently blocked this editor for a month for edit-warring, sockpuppetry and disruption. obviously we recognize that edit-warring is an offence even if the statements made are true; in this case it seems clear that they are indeed true. He states that AirAsia have been reported as being unsafe, and the reference in the Daily Mail appears valid. He does not himself say that the airline is unsafe, which might be seen as libelous, but simply quotes a National UK newspaper. This is a valid reference in Wikipedia terms. He deserves a block for edit warring, but so does the editor who is vandalistically removing the valid edits made by this user. And do you think one month is longer than needed? --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 17:50, 11 August 2015 (UTC)
- Yunshui, Ceradon blocked the account for 1 week because of "Disruptive editing and edit warring", and you then increased the block to a month because of sockpuppetry. I agree with both those blocks, but the editor has now given what seem to me to be sincere undertakings not to do the same again. If those assurances are valid, the blocks are no longer necessary for prevention of disruption, and so I am in favour of unblocking. However, I would like to know if either you or Ceradon has any opinion to express on the matter. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 09:19, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
- @JamesBWatson and Anthony Bradbury: Sorry, only just got the keyboard time to answer this. If you're happy with the unblock request then it's fine with me - no more editwarring/socking=no more need for a block. Yunshui 雲水 10:03, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
- @Yunshui and JamesBWatson: While I would agree with an unblock, I believe that I should not myself do this as I am involved in the discussion, and it would be an abuse of admin privilege. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 10:38, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
- @Anthony Bradbury: With three of us willing to accept an unblock, it is probably OK to go ahead, but I will wait a little longer in case Ceradon has anything to say. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 10:53, 12 August 2015 (UTC)

Here, here! #1
Hi, Yunshui! Actually I'm working on a list these days. I have finished compiling the list in my sandbox, here. But, I am yet to add all the references. What do you think about it? Is it okay? Tamravidhir (talk!) 08:14, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
- Nice use of table markup, that must've taken ages. My only concern is the mixture of linked and unlinked entries - per WP:CSC, they should really all be linked. Redlinks would probably be okay for most of the entries, although I haven't checked to see whether the unlinked items are genuinely notable. Yunshui 雲水 10:08, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
- Yes, the table took quite a time to make.Thank you so much! ^_^ By the way, do you mean to say that I should leave those unlinked ones with red links? Won't that look bad? :/ Tamravidhir (talk!) 10:32, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
- The way lists work, all entries shouold be notable - or none at all. You can of course just remove the non-notable entries, but they might well be notable in their own right, so redlinks may encourage people to actually create the articles. Yunshui 雲水 10:39, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
- And reliable sources can help prove that they are notable? I have added several references for such links in the list in a separate column, but some yet remain. Could you please check? Tamravidhir (talk!) 11:21, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
- If an article already exists the references aren't strictly necessary, but for unlinked items you'd need to show some degree of notability with sources, yes. Yunshui 雲水 11:40, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
- I have added references for all the unlinked names, except two. I haven't got any for these two. And I have added the [[...]] to them, and now they are red links. But even for the other names, on which pages exist, for most of them I'm not quite sure. Some of them I had edited few months back, so I'm sure about them, such as Durr-e-Shehwar. But for the rest there aren't reliable sources in the article. I hope this won't affect this list, will it? :/ Tamravidhir (talk!) 11:47, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
- It might be an idea to beef those articles up if you can, but unless they get deleted at some point it won't have a knock-on effect on your list. Yunshui 雲水 11:49, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
- A few months back I had started the work of beefing them up, and I did beef up some. Some of them even today are as they were left, while the rest have got filled with non-constructive edits over the months, and I haven't got the time to remove them or continue the same with the other untouched articles. And besides I see that few of these articles with only 4-6 lines of information and no reliable sources get deleted often and aren;t stable. But after deletion, a few days later, they are once again created. And this repeated process of deletion followed by recreation continues for some time. So I think, at this moment, I will better focus on this list and try to add reliable sources to it, rather than working on those 50 some (or even more) articles. :3 :P Tamravidhir (talk!) 12:03, 12 August 2015 (UTC)

PHILO Help
Hi Yunshui, I was in mid of considerable change to this article, currently have taken a break from it before completing, can you have a look ? before I go ahead and finish it? article here Shrikanthv (talk) 04:59, 14 August 2015 (UTC)
- It's... kinda hard to read. The language and concepts are very difficult for the lay reader to follow; try running the text through http://www.hemingwayapp.com/ to see whether you can prune the language and sentence structure a bit. It's also presented entirely in Aurobindo's voice; since he's the originator of the concept, Wikipedia will be much more interested in what others have said about Integral Yoga. See if you can find some third-party sources, rather than just having the article expound on Aurobindo's ideas; at the moment, the article is massively weighted towards one viewpoint. Yunshui 雲水 08:51, 14 August 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks!, unsurprisingly 90% of the content is being shown in red at http://www.hemingwayapp.com/ ! , will work on this thanks! Shrikanthv (talk) 09:22, 14 August 2015 (UTC)

DYK for Zhu Changfang
On 16 August 2015, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Zhu Changfang, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Zhu Changfang, Prince of Lu, developed a new type of guqin incorporating Western design elements? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Zhu Changfang. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, live views, daily totals), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. |

User Adilswati misuse of talk pages and on/off wiki collabration with Pashtun nationalists to edit war over language map
Reported user is edit warring on diffrent articles of province Khyber pakhtunkhwa and want to place a map showing pashto even in distrcits where other languages are spoken. Please see his contributions [6]. He is also inviting other pashtun nationalist users Number one User: Tigerkhan007 [7] and writing openly against Punjabi and Hindkos. He said also invite friends to fight punjabiz. Number 2 User: Usman khan being instructed in Pashto to use diffrent IPs mobile phones even girl friends mobile internet to thrash Punjabiz [8] and sharing of face book account to disscuss stratergy privatly [9]. Number 3 User Adjutor101 On his talk page he is using offensive wording like Tusi / tuso for Punjabi / Hindko people see [10] Number 4 on User Jasimkhanum10 he advises "baghair login la editing kawa" which means do editing with out log in. bcoz Jasimkhanum was Topic ban for three months, Intrestingly he followed instructions and got ban for socking for one week. see [11] [12] Dirty Abuses in pashto against Hindko / Punjabiz. You can consult pashtun speaker for translations and read his Pashto contributions all over. I have just given few examples. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 39.47.246.29 (talk) 16:20, 15 August 2015 (UTC)
- Rather than posting this repeatedly at the talkpages of multiple administrators, you would be better advised to take it to ANI. I personally have no understanding of nor interest in this matter at present. Yunshui 雲水 07:14, 17 August 2015 (UTC)
I noticed that you recently deleted the article of LifeTalk Radio. As a radio network with many affiliates in the United States, some of which are owned-and-operated stations, as well as several stations in other nations, there was clearly a credible claim of significance in the article. As such, this article should not have been deleted under WP:A7.--Tdl1060 (talk) 18:28, 16 August 2015 (UTC)
- I would dispute that a large number of affiliates is a claim of importance (many organisations have large numbers of affilates), and the article at the time I deleted was literally nothing more than a list of stations and a link to the network's website. As such, I consider the deletion justified, but I'd be happy to restore what there was to your userspace if you'd like to work on it; just let me know. Yunshui 雲水 07:07, 17 August 2015 (UTC)
- I disagree as to whether there was a claim of importance, since these affiliates are licensed radio stations, and many of the affiliates are owned-and-operated stations. However, I do agree that the page did need alot of work, so I am fine with it being restored to my userspace until the page is brought up to standards.--Tdl1060 (talk) 12:19, 17 August 2015 (UTC)

Hate to bother you, but do you know when the No Gun Ri vote might be finished? There's no deadline or urgency, of course, but I was just curious. GABHello! 14:43, 16 August 2015 (UTC)

Counter Vandalism
Hi Yunshui, I saw your name on the CVUA instructor list. I have asked one more instructor, MDann52 but I haven't received a response in almost 5 days, I dont really want to be an obstruction of any sort so if I need to be more patient I'd gladly wait. I see you are an administrator here and also active, if you have the time I'd gladly appreciate it honestly it would really encourage me to more effectively revert vandalism and do it more effectively. I have also contributed to the encyclopedia. Becoming a student in the academy would be awesome and a great way to navigate the goods and the bads of wikipedia. Thanks! - Hi CyberWarfare. I feel bad about saying no, but right now I'm really not in a very positive headspace regarding adoption/mentoring/training. I've deactivated my adopter and Co-op mentor profiles, and I'll shortly go and do the same for the CVUA (thank you for reminding me). This is absolutely no reflection on you; it's just that at present I really don't think I'm likely to make a very good mentor - for anybody. Thank you for asking, and I hope that you find an appropriate mentor soon. Pinging @Mdann52: since he's been active today; he may just have missed your message. Yunshui 雲水 07:27, 19 August 2015 (UTC)

I'm really fine with anytime, I just come online to check up regularly, I was worried because my first request was on hold but by all means I am still waiting and page is on my watchlist. - It's all in a preloaded template - go to WP:SPI, unhide the bit called "How to open an investigation", put the oldest account's username in and click Submit. You'll be taken to a template which you can fill in; it's been while since I filed an SPI but IIRC all the bits you need to fill in are labelled and explained with hidden text in the edit window. Clerks can fix any formatting issues, so don't worry too much about it. Yunshui 雲水 13:38, 19 August 2015 (UTC)

- Sorry for butting in here, Yunshui, but I saw your patient work with Glacialfrost. Just wanted to tell you that I am always feeling overwhelmed by the work that needs to be done at Wikipedia that newbies could easily accomplish. For example, adding items from categories to lists like this item I just added to List of disaster films from Category:Documentary films about Hurricane Katrina. Another area that requires help is removing copyrighted material by actually changing the text to conform rather than plastering big tags or deleting the material altogether.
