- I think the way it's written in the article is hookier:

- Yes, ALT1 is fine too (supported by source) except that you don't need "in" before "among". Also (and this applies to both hooks) the "also" is questionable. I realise it means "as well as being a botanist, Savatier conducted..." but that's not how it's written here. I think now it's better to lose the "also" -- the contrast between his profession and the subject of his study in Yokosuka is still plain to see... ;-) Cheers, Ian Rose (talk) 23:29, 2 August 2015 (UTC)
